Q: what version are you running? are you using the mods/unofficial/community patches?

A: i run on official patch 1.1 (formally 1.2 as of 1/29/2017), with the vampire.exe from the unofficial patch by wesp5. i also use a edited shaderapidx9.dll and engine.dll. together these fix the less than 15mb of memory and secdrv service errors which otherwise make the game unplayable on modern computers

Q: what clan are you playing?

A: the any% record is currently done with clan nosferatu. it used to be done with tremere and i've done runs with gangrel, malkavian, and ventrue. i might do brujah or toreador someday for "fun"

Q: why don't you use the infinite experience glitch?

A: "that glitch only works in 1.1 and i haven't explored what else is wrong in that version, but i might someday"
i now run on v1.1 for the experience glitch! it's not infinite: when you set starting attributes, you can reselect the same clan from the base menu, and in v1.1 the stats you set will stay, and you will get more points to add. you can keep adding until you only have enough stats left to satisfy what you should be placing before you start

Q: when will you run all clans?

A: i'm already routing all possible quests/~100% and i'm almost done. i could possibly do a "bloodlines" 7 hour run with every clan but god damn. i've also been incredibly undisciplined in getting this done, sorry

Q: why are you shaking your mouse around?

A: i'm trying to go fast. movement is like quake, half-life, and other goldsrc/source engine style fps

Q: can you believe that there will never be a sequel to bloodlines?!

A: i have blind runs of all of those mods on my youtube. i may return to one of them someday, likely extreme edition or antitribu
