  1. You stand up, already armoured, from the comfortable furs.
  2.
  3.
  4. You pull up your face mask and consider your options. There are too many uncertainties about this place, things that you don’t know. Fey is supposed to tell you these things… As a matter of fact, after dropping that game on you with that note she has yet to even say hi.
  5.
  6.
  7. It hurts the feelings just a tiny bit.
  8.
  9.
  10. If you think hard enough, you should be able to get a door to appear in a place. But can it open near a specific person? You focus for a moment on Fey’s form.
  11.
  12.
  13. You look around for a moment, noticing a new door in the room. A trap door above the bed.
  14.
  15.
  16. Now, all things considered, this place is rather strange. But you clearly envisioned a very nice double door, with a deadman’s lock. You sigh and walk over to the trapdoor. Wait, should it be that consistent? What if it’s not your door?
  17.
  18.
  19. Is something trying to enter your dreamspace?
  20.
  21.
  22. The trapdoor opens slowly as a small and heavily robed figure with long claws grapples the ceiling and quickly crawls along it.
  23.
  24.
  25. You wave “Hey Fey, how art thou”?
  26.
  27.
  28. She releases her grip from the ceiling and flops down onto the bed with a loud thump. She pulls off her hood and veil, showing her large ribbed horn in the dim light of the fire.
  29.
  30.
  31. She rolls over to her side to look at you, her belly is larger than before. How fast were demon pregnancies?
  32.
  33.
  34. She stretches her arms back and fully extends her small form along the bed.
  35. “Anon, I’m dying of boredom”.
  36.
  37.
  38. You move over to her as she rest her head on your lap.
  39.
  40.
  41. “And why is that”?
  42.
  43.
  44. She huffs. “The Lady will not let me perform any “Strenuous duties” While I’m with child. While that makes sense, it is frustrating. The most entertainment I have received thus far is your little game. It was well played, you earned that win”.
  45.
  46.
  47. You slowly run your hand down her waist long hair. It is smooth, but it feel less like hair and more like whiskers.
  48.
  49.
  50. “Why thank you. Now then, it is important for you to take care, for the sake of the children. How are you doing really though”?
  51.
  52.
  53. She opens her laid ghostly robe, revealing her filled belly. She takes your hand and guides is along her stomach. When you press, you can feel small round shapes under the skin. Quite a few to be sure.
  54.
  55.
  56. “Anon, remember how I said that I would prefer having a certain amount or less of demonlings? Well, I am pregnant with no less than 9 Eggs… take that as you will. You are surprisingly fertile, not many could rush past my defenses in such a brutish manner”.
  57. ----
  58. You continue to feel along her belly. Mesmerized by the strange pleasant feeling.
  59. “Well, I was not entirely in control of myself you know”.
  60.
  61.
  62. You wink, she smiles softly.
  63.
  64.
  65. She is much less intense when she’s pregnant apparently. She feels much more laid back than before. Her body language is all different. Slow, relaxed and calm instead of her rushed frenzy.
  66.
  67.
  68. “How far along are you”?
  69.
  70.
  71. “In your time, I should lay in a few more weeks. Then they will hatch a few days after that. Excited to meet your children? You should be aware that it’s a little different for demons, they are reincarnations and when they reach a certain age their memories return.”
  72.
  73.
  74. “How does that change them?”
  75.
  76.
  77. “Well, they retain their personality from their birth, they assume a new name usually if they are not a high ranking demoness at any rate. But, mostly they end up as the child you raised them as, just with memories from another time”.
  78.
  79.
  80. “Strange”.
  81.
  82.
  83. “I consider your mortality strange personally. You humans live such short lives, you come back eventually as a similar person but with no memories. Yet you humans accomplish so much when your lifespan is considered. Yet most of you never truly see the fruits of your life’s work with your own eyes”.
  84. ---
  85. “I can see how that would be odd to a nigh-immortal being”.
  86.
  87.
  88. She sighs but smiles and looks into your eyes.
  89. “Are you afraid of death Anon”?
  90.
  91.
  92. “Depends on how”.
  93.
  94.
  95. She laughs loudly. “I knew you would say that”.
  96.
  97.
  98. Fey does up her robe again and places on her veil, snuggly sliding under the furs while using your lap as a pillow.
  99.
  100.
  101. You start to ask her your questions.
  102.
  103.
  104. “Fey, there are some things I need to know about the dreamscape”.
  105.
  106.
  107. “Go ahead”.
  108.
  109.
  110. “Does fatigue, poison and physical wounds transfer over to the dreamworld if obtained in the physical world?”
  111.
  112.
  113. She nods her head. “The way you enter now is sending a portion of your soul in here, as well as your mind. So anything that has affected you in the physical world will injure you here. Being injured here however would only exhaust you in the physical world. Death here would boot you out and maybe place you comatose and out of commision for a time. It would damage your soul as well, and that’s hard to fix, try not to die.”
  114.
  115.
  116.
  117.
  118. “Is it possible to bring someone from the physical world with us to the dreamworld? What about vice versa?”
  119.
  120.
  121. Fey gestures with her claws. “Of course, but you need magic to do so. You can do this with ease because You have a Demon patron, you are a warlock. Everyone else needs magic of some kind to take them in. You could also eventually get a spell to allow your physical body here, in addition to that of others, but be careful as death is a possibility there and it’s a little more permanent to mortals. A spell to drag part of their soul and mind with you is also possible, but both such spells are uncommon.”
  122.
  123.
  124.
  125.
  126.
  127.
  128. “Are there any rare components that can be used for magic / alchemy / create magic item that can only be obtained in the dreamworld?”
  129.
  130.
  131. Fey nods. “Of course, beyond simple horns or blood of demons, we have whole markets that trade for items. We don’t use coin here, only goods, so consider that. Then there are a number of raw materials that exist only in the dream. Items that damage the mind and spirit, Plants that reek with magic, some rare objects dropped in the rifts and lost in strange spells, things lost to time. It really depends on where you look. Many thoughts that linger in the mortal world become real here, you just need to find such places. Simply wandering in the wilds here might do some good, but it is unpredictable at best”.
  132.
  133.
  134. “Is it possible to ferry items between the two worlds and if so how do I do it?”
  135.
  136.
  137. “Yes, things will automatically leave with you and come back with you. Your soul drags them with you with ease. Anything you own that is on your person is simply here when you arrive. It’s just a matter of getting used to it, you are fully garbed in armour now see? It’s just growing pains”.
  138.
  139.
  140. “Thank you”.
  141.
  142.
  143. “It is my part of the contract”.
