Even though he might be young - he is already one of Austrias best footballers of all time. Born in June 1992 the young Austrian already has won 4 league wins, 3 German Cup wins and a lot of Champions League play. After a few years in Bayern Munichs youth teams he established himself as a starter in late 2010. Since then he's been a core staple of Bayerns team.

Personally, David is a very laid back person. He doesn't like publicity too much so he mostly keeps to himself. He's known for playing a lot of video games, with his favorite being the latest Zelda release on the Nintendo Switch console. Counter Strike is also one of his prefered games, a game which he also follows competetively. He watches the e-sports tournaments often after practice.

What most people doesn't know about David is that he also an incredibly giving person. He's donated over €1,500,000 to charity over the last few years. He cares especially about the Phillipines and Nigeria, where he's got heritage from. His father from Nigeria and his mother from the Phillipines. David is currently sponsoring 4 different football youth teams in Nigeria, supplying shoes, balls and outfits for the kids to play. He's also involved in funding a huge education center in the Phillipine village his mother comes from. Recently, on a trip to the Phillipines, David also saved a girls life from drowning. He was walking along the beach when he suddenly saw a little girl splashing around in the water screaming for help. David did not hesitate at all and jumped straight in, rescuing the little girl just seconds before she drowned.

So i think it's safe to say that David Alaba is an all around great guy and a great pride to Austria. He's won the Austrian Footballer Of The Year award several times already and we look forward to following his career further. He's definitely one of our favorite football players of all time!
