This is a unique team that really highlights Houndour's effectiveness in the metagame, and how well it supports its teammates. To start, Furret was chosen as the lead as it immediately pressures opposing teams. Machoke was added in tandem to take advantage of Furret weakening opposing physical tanks, and Machoke can do the same for Furret as well. The key to this, however, is Houndour's ability to Pursuit trap physical walls, most notably Duskull which checks Furret and Machoke rather well. By getting rid of Duskull (and other things like Koffing, Tropius, Graveler, etc), Furret can have an easier time spamming Double-Edge. Furthermore, Tropius can SD sweep more easily without having to worry about Will-O-Wisp users. Tropius was also added as a Furret switch in and Machoke switch in. Piloswine was added as defensive synergy, to help with Minun and a few other special attackers. Lileep was added as role compression, as it checks Electrics, Waters and Normal. Its specially defensive set + Mirror Coat can catch a lot of special attackers off guard and can net a few KOs. Overall the team performs well and is easy to play with; hope you enjoy.
