  2. -- abysmalAirspace [AA] approaches Riskshot's tent, crouching down outside of it. She's heard of the Vagabond's disappearance, and she's clearly worried. --
  3. AA: <\ My lady. />
  4. AA: <\ I have heard of the Vagabond's departure. />
  5. -- nervyMoxie [NM] is sitting in her tent, staring out intently. When the Sentinel appears, she brightens, as if expecting someone, but she realizes that it's just the Sentinel. --
  6. -- nervyMoxie [NM] still keeps a smile, nonetheless. --
  7. NM: ☼h. W☼rd travels fast, I see.
  8. -- abysmalAirspace [AA] keeps her neutral mask, but behind it is clear concern, and it shows in the crease of her brow. --
  9. AA: <\ I know how much he meant to you, my lady. />
  10. AA: <\ I do not mean to imply weakness on your part, yet I must ask... are you all right? />
  11. NM: All right? I w☼uld say that I am m☼re than all right! I am perfectly fine and c☼ntent, Sentinel. Thank y☼u f☼r y☼ur c☼ncern.
  12. -- nervyMoxie [NM] doesn't say this with her usual energy, though. --
  13. AA: <\ My lady... may I come inside? />
  14. NM: Sure. Ain't n☼ law keepin' y☼u fr☼m c☼min' in.
  15. -- abysmalAirspace [AA] scoots inside the tent, sitting down next to Riskshot. --
  16. AA: <\ My lady, please do not take me for a fool. />
  17. AA: <\ I do not mean to intrude upon your paleness.. but I must insist you do not hide your feelings like this. />
  18. NM: I'm n☼t hidin' them.
  19. NM: I'm just sayin' is that I can live with 'em, is all.
  20. AA: <\ But my lady... he has left you! />
  21. -- nervyMoxie [NM] smiles. --
  22. NM: He'll be back.
  23. AA: <\ My lady... do you truly trust him? />
  24. NM: He gave me his w☼rd.
  25. -- abysmalAirspace [AA] frowns, obviously troubled. --
  26. AA: <\ If you trust him... />
  27. AA: <\ ... then I will not say a word against him, my lady. />
  28. NM: Y☼u d☼ubt him?
  29. -- nervyMoxie [NM] says it a bit sharply. --
  30. -- abysmalAirspace [AA] winces. --
  31. AA: <\ ... I only fear he will hurt you, my lady. />
  32. NM: I trust him. Trust has s☼me risk attached t☼ it, but I've never been ☼ne t☼ shy fr☼m risk!
  33. -- abysmalAirspace [AA] breathes out quietly. --
  34. AA: <\ You have not, my lady. You are brave in the face of danger. Even dangers of the heart. />
  35. NM: Then y☼u have it.
  36. NM: Y☼u needn't w☼rry ab☼ut me.
  37. AA: <\ By your leave, my lady, I will. />
  38. -- nervyMoxie [NM] laughs. --
  39. NM: Y☼ur c☼ncern's t☼uching, if misplaced.
  40. AA: <\ I do not think I have misplaced anything, my lady. You are an example to us all, and all of us - excuse me - we all give a damn. />
  41. NM: I've t☼ld y☼u all bef☼re--I'm just like all ☼f ya. Just a little b☼ssier, that's all.
  42. AA: <\ I believe that is why the damn is given, my lady. />
  43. NM: It ain't the first time I've had t☼ wait. I'll be fine.
  44. AA: <\ If you are certain... />
  45. -- nervyMoxie [NM] waves a hand and chuckles to try to lighten up the situation. --
  46. NM: I am! The Vagab☼nd shall return s☼☼n en☼ugh, whereup☼n I'll sc☼ld him s☼methin' fierce!
  47. NM: It will all be fine, my dear Sentinel!
  48. -- abysmalAirspace [AA] blushes a little despite herself, and inwardly curses her weakness for blushing over simple kind words. --
  49. AA: <\ If you say it will, my lady, then it shall be so. />
  50. NM: That a pr☼mise?
  51. AA: <\ I... />
  52. AA: <\ Yes, my lady. />
  53. AA: <\ I promise everything will be well. />
  54. NM: Y☼u must keep that mindset, then!
  55. AA: <\ My lady, if anything troubles you, please call on me. I will do everything in my power to uphold my promise. />
  56. -- nervyMoxie [NM] pats her shoulder. --
  57. NM: Y☼u kn☼w I will.
  58. -- abysmalAirspace [AA] smiles to Riskshot, her expression warm. --
  59. -- nervyMoxie [NM] smiles back. --
  60. NM: I am grateful f☼r a tr☼ll like y☼u, Sentinel.
  61. -- abysmalAirspace [AA] blushes a little, her smile going a little shyer. --
  62. AA: <\ You are too kind, my lady! />
  63. NM: Nah, that's m☼re like y☼u.
  64. -- abysmalAirspace [AA] smiles, her blush burning deeper. --
  65. AA: <\ Really, my lady... too kind. />
  66. NM: And y☼u, t☼☼ m☼dest!
  67. AA: <\ Thank you, truly. />
  68. AA: <\ I am glad to be in your service. />
  69. -- nervyMoxie [NM] smiles. --
  70. NM: And I am glad t☼ have been served by y☼u.
