firefly technique part 16

used the inner part of his forearm as he swiped away at his forehead to remove he stinky liquid that dripped from it and dropped to the ground, he was starting to get a bit tired but that didn't stop him, he had just gotten the size down after rigorous training in the past few weeks and all he had to do now was increase the speed and actually decide on another seal to use in order to make the fireball explode upon trigger, that was the entire point of the technique but seemed like it would be a long way until he had reached it.

Soryen stepped forward and gazed at the huge mountain that covered the northern side of Konohagakure , it seemed like this place would replace his previous training grounds which was the pond and Western Konoha Gate, as the range of his jutsu was quite large he would risk setting something ablaze, the firepower was also quite obvious from all the attempts he recently did.

The five seals would again be formed in quick succession as the boy inhaled a large amount of air, his chest would puff forward in an unhuman manner, he'd keep the tiger seal formed as he began brewing chakra in his gut, the time needed in order to knead the chakra for said technique was also begining to shorten, indicating that he was indeed progressing fairly well.

Once more Soryen imagined that "flame" in his head, the size was pretty much at what he wanted it to be and he wouldn't change it anymore , he saw the sparks flying off which did symbol that he was on the right track, he had that right feeling inside of his core aswell as the heat got stronger and stronger he would know that the size had been at what he wanted it to be. His goal  at this point to cover the 3/4ths of his jutsu scheme, which was speed.

The flame that was envisioned moved slowly, it was not like the Sentouka or the Goen technique that the boy knew, no it was different, it's flames were big sure but they way they danced could be compared to a sloth moving, he squinted his eyes as he attempted to focus his energy into making the flame dance. After a brief moment the blazing gas would start to trickle as the sparks around it began even more furious.

"Now!" he thought to himself as he widely opened his eyes and leaned forward, hunching his back a little and tilting it upwards.S oryen let the katon-based chakra inside his stomach travel upwards and into his torso as he felt the moment to be precise, it connected with the air inside his lungs and would be released through his mouth in a flash.

"Floom" would be heard as it exited the boy's lips, a medium sized fireball that had some unique sparks surrounding it and following its trail as it traveled would be noticed, they were a lot more than the last try he had did , and their sound was even more loud, it could be compared to that of rapidly popping popcorn.

The fireball flew its usual distance and with its usual size, the one thing unique to this execution was that it did have alot more sparks surround all of its sides and the speed had gotten a tad bit faster! It looked like the boy's deduction was right! If he was able to manipulate the size of the flame by imagining it in his mind he would also be able to manipulate its speed, but he had to do a lot more tries on order to get accustomed to the feeling that was budding in his core, maybe his talent for fire techniques was starting to flourish slowly but surely?

Soryen rested both of his hands onto his thighs as he huffed and puffed for air, sweat started dripping at a faster rate as he took a seat on the ground and reached for his backpouch, a water bottle would be taken out and chugged to the mid section, exhaustion was setting in and the guy had a few more tries at getting this speed down.
