Slug Sage Mode _ Bryce_Hego

What you are applying for: Slug Sage Mode
What you will do: As with Katsuyu, it's a trump card not meant to be bust out lightly like a spar whore. Taking position as (presumably) the first slug sage, as well as the head of Konoha's medical unit, Keito would be intent on passing down the rights to summon Katsuyu to any skilled medical ninja that showed they understood it's about more than just scalpels and cherry blossom abuse, thus eventually taking someone worthy to become the next slug sage.

Why you want it: Having Already established the contract with the gastropods, and reaching A rank, I'm shooting my shot for the form. Having seen Kaoru tame the second version of Isobu and Keito becoming the head medic, it's time to show she's worth it.
Also I think taking on a teacher type role wouldn't be too bad, assuming we get any cool medics sticking around in leaf.

RP sample: Keito had just recently taken a promotion, not to the standard Jounin but something to acknowledge her long time status as the most active and capable of medical ninja, mastering every art of it. Hiyori had just been passed on a azure burning sword wielded by the flaming Youkai from the grassland...it's source of power, as well as that Youkai's were not the same as conventional Chakra.

Kaoru also possessed a source of power from a great spirit, and after taming it had taken a promotion to that of a Jounin without need for an exam, even taking upon their first mission, one that could end up dangerous but put his cunning to the test.

So now it was her turn to show she was worth the title given, to fill in the responsibility that is ensuring she would always be ready to keep other Ninja and Civilians alive. Her contract with Katsuyu hadn't really been used much at all, respecting that it should only come as necassary, but even when it was, it was hard to set them loose carelessly within a battle. That isn't to say they would not still be a great help in stopping something akin to Kalama's rampage, though they cannot just summon recklessly and make things worse.

Taking the free time she is given, she returns back to the strange location she had once met Katsuyu upon, it was a long journey just to find the gastropod's home, one that she almost wished wasn't traveled alone...Meeting with the almost village sized Slug that had accepted her.

Well aware that Katsuyu herself was capable of medical style ninjutsu, she asked them if there was simply put, anything they could part with the human. Her expectation was that of a alternative form of healing, though as she soon discovered, she had learned virtually all the tricks one could utilize as a medical ninja, even the forbidden technique that allowed her to sacrifice large amounts of chakra and lifespan just to regenerate rapidly within battle.

The nature of the cursed seals and the greater spirits is also brought up and discussed, although gaining no new insight, it seemed that Katsuyu had a different plan for helping Keito progress, proposing taking the assistance of the natural world itself, to use it as  a new medium to press their healing arts into the final stage.

However, it came with a greater risk, one where Keito may very well revoke the right of being a human if they aren't ready. In order to begin training, the first step was allowing a small summoned Katsuyu to rest upon the Maidens shoulder and ensure things remained balanced...It seemed the slug was too kind to simply let her risk it without aid.

This was going to be a technique that drawed in Senjutsu chakra aligned with the Gastropods themselves, intent upon turning Keito into a wielder of the Slug Sage.

The Miko takes upon this risk, not bothered by the thought of changing her body if it meant becoming a more capable healer. This was not just some power up to try and become a stronger person, it was one that would exist to turn her into a pillar, one that supports her village with powerful healing, and the strength of a hundred men to hold herself up even when directly attacked.

Finally it came to actually training, it was not a simple process, reminding her of her first time progressing her affinity with chakra control. Thankfully she did not necessarily need to leave the village to continue training, having permission to now freely summon a tiny slug for the sake of simple healing and to have direct communication with the greater creature. The larger forms of course still requiring the prior terms of only as necessary.

With constant instruction, she begun to finally become more aware of the powers of the world itself through meditation while close to nature. Eventually it's pulse could be felt as it entered her body, now requiring Keito to use that proficiency to perfectly manage the chakra and senjutsu in her body, keeping them from swallowing one another.

Some semblance of the transformation is completed, and Keito attempts to wield the mystical palm, noticing that it's strength had grown...twofold, with seemingly no drawbacks to precision. All it could make her do was smile, hoping that she would be able to protect the village once this kind of power was mastered.
