  1. Overview
  2. -Look for unnecessary fluff sentences/points. Sentences should have a purpose in describing qualities of the mon instead of trying to play up the mon. ie no "Emboar is a terrifying beast that is to be feared by all." but instead aim for this "Emboar is a huge threat for most teams because of its powerful offenses and diverse coverage options"
  3. -General positives and negatives for the mon should be listed in this section, but make sure redundant information is excluded. "Emboar has an incredible base 123 attack stat" is redundant because the number is listed above the text as is and knowing the number doesn't help anyways.
  4. -Try and keep in mind what defines the mons positives and what defines the mons negatives and make sure it's as concisely covered as possible
  5.
  6. Set & Set Details
  7. -Names for sets should be dry and descriptive, no meme names (unless mods give approval)
  8. -Slash order is determined by importance to the set. IE a set up sweeper's moves usually go in order of set up move > stab move(s) > coverage etc. Items go in order of most commonly used/most viable and same with abilities and natures.
  9. -Things that are slashed are usually the most viable options on a set, but if a nature, ability, specific ev spread or whatever has a useful purpose, then you can make a mention of it in set details/moves. This can be a little subjective, but QC members are chosen because they have trusted opinions anyways so try and find the best place to organize all of the different options into.
  10. -Points in moves should also be ordered by move order and then extraneous mentions.
  11. -Set details covers the reasoning for items/abilities/natures/spreads. Usually these are short, but make sure the reasoning for an ev spread is covered if it's something a little complex.
  12.
  13. Usage Tips
  14. -This is a tricky section to write so do your best to think about how you play with the mon in question. "When to set up" "what not to do with it" "what needs to happen before it comes in" etc
  15. -Avoid redundant information too. Every pokemon is good when it is brought in via u-turn/volt switch and just about every mon likes having stealth rock off the field so avoid those. You can include these two points if they include information specific to the mon such as "moltres appreciates stealth rock off the field because it's 4x weak" or "typhlosion likes being brought in safely with u-turn to take as little risk as possible of taking damage"
  16. -People usually suck at writing these so do your best and ask other qc for opinions if need be
  17.
  18. Team Options
  19. -Another trick section. Focus more on synergy and mon-specific needs. Mostly the same criteria from usage tips on what to avoid applies here--every mon like stealth rock support, hazard removal, and volt switch/u-turn.
  20.
  21. OO
  22. -This section is for sets and moves and such that aren't relevant enough to get a main mention (either by getting its own set or a mention in moves or whatever.) Think something along the lines of King's Rock Cinccino, SD Sneasel, and Nasty Plot Golbat.
  23. -If it's a full set mention, be sure there is information on the ev's, items, natures, etc.
  24.
  25. Checks and Counters
  26. -Order these by order of how threatening they are to the mon in question.
  27. -Make sure sufficient reasoning is given on why the checks are threatening to the mon in question.
  28. -Make sure it follows the correct formatting too which is **Check Name**: reasoning
  29.
  30. As a general note, it's usually a good idea to also make sure there are examples of specific pokemon when a specific category of mons is mentioned. If an analysis says something like "Vivillon appreciates Defog support because of its weakness to stealth rock" try and change it so it says "Vivillon appreciates Defog support, such as Rotom and Silvally-Steel, because of its weakness to stealth rock"
