- With the greoup signing up for the Shadow Hunt, a messanger came around to great them. It was none other then the announcer, dressed in a dark suit with a bit of a classy outlook for himself.
- "Welcome welcome my dear....contestants. I will welcome you to our Shadow Hunt. If you'll just....close your eyes for me, we will be on our way."
- With a snap of his fingers, the area around them had become dark. The being started to fade into a deep mist, like he never existed, yet the lot of them were coated in darkness, yet his voice remained.
- For everyone else around them, they had simply....vanished, almost like a blip out of existance. Such a strange trick.
- "Now, I will not have to remind you of the rules, but I will clarify.
- The Penumbra Organization is not responsible for injuries, mutilation, or poisons. By coming on this trip you accept the fate of what ever befalls to you. At the moment the Event is rather experimental and we will appreciate your feedback.
- But without further drawl-"
- The man started to twirl into existance once more, snapping his fingers, only to let them be shown that they were on a very....grim set, an island of darkness before their eyes, yet no occultic presence at all.
- The man twirled their cane, only to say something more.
- "You can either start now and roam the island as you see fit, or Fight the very FIRST thing you see. Granted, if you roam, the timer will start the moment you say it. So! What will you choose? And how will you come to feed your desires?~"
- [17:39] Destiny took a hold of Runi's hand and got ready for the shadow hunt.
- She had been itching for quite some time and this was the perfect time!
- (Destiny Argyris)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [17:40] Without haste, Acheron followed the lot. Ready to get the hunt!
- (Acheron Erebus)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [17:40] Ethia was ready and raring!
- (Ethia Alcast)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [17:40] Appeared along with everyone else and readied himself for the hunt!
- (Achilles Gelmont)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [17:40] Grizzt readied with the others
- (Grizzt Gordan)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [17:47] Acheron Erebus says, "I'll head straight noth west"
- [17:49] Nodding his head and following after the announcer came up to get them, the Rhoynur who was previously dusting himself off and cleaning his staff sighed with a deep breath and walked after the man. "Yes, we understand the risks, but thank you for reminding them to us."
- "Alright guys, we'll first split into two groups of three, one of the groups will check up the east, the other will check up the west." After finishing his initial explanation, he smiled.
- "Get back here in a total of three minutes."
- Looking back at the announce, he smiled. "We'll roam the island. We'll scout the place up, and hunt the one's that seem the most interesting."
- "Ethia, Achilles, Grizzt, search the east. I'll take Destiny and Acheron to search the west."
- (Runihura)

- [17:56] Ethia fight monster
- (Ethia Alcast)
- [21:02] {NARRATION} With the group going into the island, the announcer waves them off, seeing them b-line it across the island, attempting to find their battles.
- In their line of fighting, they fought a few of the creatures, beating them in a timely fashion, yet they wouldn't do so....easily.
- From their fights, they took up the challenge of fighting 5 Unique monsters. One was an innocent chubby creature, bubbly and cute. Yet these SAVAGES took no time to beat the creature down. Such a maddening performance, so lovely~
- Next of them was a spider, yet small and innocent. Well....not so innocent. It attacked the Gelmont with quick bites, yet it had no venom, unlike its mother.
- The poor songstress however didn't get to enjoy much of that mother's embrace. Tch tch tch...Such a tragedy. In her moment of regret, she was taken by the spider mother's mandibles and crushed slowly, using her hidden teeth to bite into the poor woman, injecting her bodily system with a powerful venom, eating away at her very flesh-like rot. Luckily for her, it would have been her life if Ethia hadn't stepped in to save her dear ally.
- The Firey Spirit known as Elsaya was an Artificer, a strong one at that. Given her own life, she tried to make the most elegant weapons with her fire and metal magics, yet her life was taken, only to be left as a banshee. Her hair was used as a deadly weapon as it wrapped its locks along Achilles' arm, searing deep yet agonizing scorch against his flesh, turning it black with third-degree burns.
- Yet Destiny wasn't any luckier. From the time Achilles fought the spirit, it latched a metal chomp from its own companion onto her hand, biting down on 2 of her fingers! It was specifically her index and middle fingers. SUCH OUTRAGE! How will she play her musical instrument!
- The dragon that was used as an advertisement was another monster the group fought, yet just being close to it made voices come to them, almost as if speaking to them with no real....conversation. Though specifically, it spoke to Acheron, making them come closer to it in the middle of the battle. The closer he got the more the voices....spoke to him, calling him closer. Yet it was abruptly halted by Achilles' intermission. Yet the voices seemed to...linger for a while.
- The final monster that the group went against was the very prized possession, the Bone Collector. It was a skeleton that has lived and killed other denizens of the island, using its bone magic to force forge the amalgamation of the victim's bones into the weapon it holds. However, the group fought it in combat, making it all the difference as it was refusing to die to their attacks. More so, it seemed like it wasn't going down without taking someone with it.
- Specifically, the creature seemed to grab Ethia, slamming her body against the hard ground, attempting to crush her very body under its enormous weight. Luckily for her, Grizzt came to save her in that moment, but he wasn't a hero yet. Grizzt would find out what it mean to take a bath as the Bone Collector used its water magic, surrounding his body in an orb of water, not giving him the time to come out for air, slowly drowning him at the seems. Yet even then, the man would lose the ability to breathe normally from the sheer pressure put on his lungs for a little while. Runi himself was grabbed, but the creature wanted to pull the man and drop him into its mouth, doing so to put him in a cage, a closed-form of its ribs, watching, forcibly as allies were beaten down and growing desperate. The Bone collector slowly used its ribs to crush the man, handling their body like a squeaky toy before the man would hear a crunching noise.
- Yet the monsters all had the same fate, beaten, or killed in some form. The team was intelligent to read the opponents and make time to fight together and worked together very....efficently. Today was a victory, but the lot of them will slowly learn what it was they fought for.
- When the buzzard went off, they were still fighting the bone collector, yet the announcer saw this and allowed them to finish up, no sense pulling out early, best go all-in with no regrets, even if there might be a few accidents.
- The items left at each corpse were retrieved, as per request by the announcer. He didn't want them getting... 'Distracted'
- Once finished, the announcer clapped his hands, the group moved back into a lounge, filled with drinks and snacks before someone came around to hand them their items.
- "Here you are. You've won yourselves these items for you and your group~"
- [21:05] ** Bone Collector has inflicted an injury upon Acheron Erebus. ("The Voices", "The dragon spoke to Acheron, making them come closer to it in the middle of the battle. The closer he got the more the voices....spoke to him, calling him closer. It spoke of promise, need to be with them like they were suppose to be. Yet it was abruptly halted by Achilles' intermission before it was stuck to him.", "Temporary", "Duration: Medium (4 days)") **
- [21:28] It was time and they were ready to go on a hunt.
- She wondered around the island looking for her prey, ending up in fighting a few of the creatures, beating them in a timely fashion, although it was that easy.
- She managed to get that chubby cute looking monster down last with the help of her team.
- When they encountered the spider, her grin spread across her face, it was so small and innocent looking but she had her fair share knowledge of spiders and one would know that one should never mess with a spider.
- Destiny didn't enjoy fighting this spider that much since at first she didn't want to hurt it but because of that she was taken by the spider mother's mandibles and crushed slowly, sinking her teeth and biting the Kitsune woman, injecting her body with a powerful venom, although this wasn't something she couldn't fight or try to handle, after all her body was used a bit to spider venoms. That wouldn't stop the venom from eating away at her very flesh-like rot. Thankfully Ethia stepped in to save her or else who knows what would of ended up of her.
- They managed to take down the Firey Spirit but it wasn't easy at all. Poor Achilles's arm.
- Although it seems Destiny wasn't any luckier herself, a metal chomp latched onto her hand and bit down on two of her fingers. The woman frowns at her hand while she clenches her teeth, there was no way she was showing in how much pain she was. Her index and middle finger were gone, what the fuck!
- Good thing she wasn't the same cute and adorable Destiny that always played her instrument and in battle there was a surprise for her enemies.
- The Kitsune woman shook off the voices coming from the dragon and focused on fighting it alongside her team.
- And the final monster was the very prized possession, the Bone Collector.
- What a maddening creature.
- This time Ethia was grabbed and her body was slammed onto the ground, luckily Grizzt came to save her in the moment and then he would find himself surrounded in a orb of water, not giving him time to come out for air, slowly drowning him and his ribs were crushed in the process.
- Thankfully they managed to beat or kill the monsters in some form.
- The Kitsune woman made her way slowly to retrieve her prizes, looking down at her skin that was slowly rotting away.
- (Destiny Argyris)

- [21:28] Grizzt with the others continued forward. To this island. He didn't know much of what was going on other then he was asked to help slay some monsters. This hopefully would get him out of the debt he owed to Runi for the gem he gave Grizzt.. Seeing as in his eyes, the mutated dragon slaying wasn't enough.
- As the buzzer went off, the group darted in different directions.. Looking for strong looking monsters to defeat and rip from them what little loot that they could, of course there would injuries.. He knew that, so did the others, but still. They rushed forward.
- First up! A dragon..another dragon.. Grizzt let out a sigh, but none the less helped with its defeat. Unlike his usual style of fighting, he had to think quickly on his feet.. Not pouring all of his energy into a single combo, this was..lame.. To say the least for the teraphim, but it seemed to help the others out and as long as they could stay up for the fights, the easier this would go for the lot.. His time magic, keeping his body in check, the dragon wasn't near strong as the mutated one.. One down he thought.
- Next! A giant spider.. Grizzt didn't want to have to hunt such a creature, it was a sacred animal in his belief. But the others forced his hand.. So it had to come to it. This spider was far stronger then the dragon in his eyes.. Such a beast to be able to put up with such punishment..
- After the spider was slain. Grizzt, Ethia and Achilles took on a strange fire spirit.. The other three going off as these three believed they could do battle and defeat it with them alone.. No need wasting man power. This was a hard one.. Grizzt almost taken down if not for the holy power of Achilles not the mention the healing properties of Ethias water.. Together the three defeated the fire spirit.. Grizzt getting the final blow in, using his time magic to slow every down and give him a bit of breathing room. Taking out his sword and switching out the staff. He'd strike the spirit quickly speeding up his reflexes.. As it ended the spirit would fall dead..
- Finally it was time..The group made their way up the giant mountain.. Seeing a massive creature made of bone.. This had to be the final boss of this place, Grizzt thought to himself.. Drawing both his sword and staff. The teraphim would grin. This should be fun! Charging with the others..
- This fight was far different then the others that came before, this felt as if it was fight for their lives.. No some small dragon, not some spider or even a fire elemental.. This creature, felt as if it was a primordial in disguise.. The ground, always uneven, the ability to run on it felt like it didn't exist, if not for his ability to control time on some level, to reverse the terrain..This would of been a pain for sure.
- Grizzt saw it, the creature grab a hold of Ethia.. "Damnit.." Closing his eyes..It was now or never for him to perfect this.. The shadows under him would vanish as so did Grizzt. Appearing next to the bone collector who held Ethia.. Grizzt shoved his staff between the giant fingers of the bone collecter, while using his sword.. Imbuing it with his shadow magic, a massive strike came down, Breaking the grasp of the collector and freeing Ethia from the grasp.. A sigh left his lips, but it was too soon for him to relax.. As he seemed to have pissed off the giant monster, a wave of water!..Water..yes because the bone monster also posessed the power of the Seas! unlike anything Grizzt had seen before.
- A massive wave would smash into him. Surrounding his body, he couldn't breath.. The water would fill his lungs.. Falling from a great height and slamming against the ground. Coughing the water up. "Damned..creature.." He said as the rest of the water came up. Breathing was going to be trouble.. But nothing he couldn't handle!
- With the full effort of the team! The monster would finally fall! "Alright..think some drinks would be well deserved and some drinks..yes some drinks for sure.." Grizzt said as he awaited for the items to be delivered to them.

- [21:34] What a long day it had been. From scouting the forests and mountains to eventually deciding which one's they would hunt.
- Of course. The Dragon would be the first one, struck down by Achilles, the Dragon Slayer, in the middle of a well performed battle as they all fought in unison. It's how it would go for the most time.
- Grizzt, Acheron, Hollee and Achilles being the heavy damage dealers.
- All while Ethia did her best to heal them all, and the Rhoynur himself threw his body at the enemies everytime they tried to disrupt her healing Waters. A combo that would go on to make their team work more smooth.
- If they hadn't talked beforehand about strategies which they should come up with, he does not think they would've been able to take down as many of their targets as they first wished.
- And so it would go, from one target to the other.
- The Dragon... the Spiders... the Fiery Spirit... the Chubby and Bubbly creature... as well as last, but not least.
- The Bone Collector.
- Despite their best efforts, they were all still thrashed around quite a bit. While Achilles falmes seared their fleshless body, and Destiny's melody helped energize them while also weighting heavily down their oponente, the Rhoynur took his chance to slash as many times as it could with bloody tendrils, always following right behind Grizzt whenever they charged ahead with shadows writhing around them.
- 'Thank my ancestors we got Ethia here...'
- A simple glance at the healing that washed bellow their feet, reinvigorating their bodies, that he knew... they couldn't be doing all of this without her.
- Standing back with Acheron, he watched the man bring down the weight of gravity against the Bone Collector, it's massive body being heavily pressed against the groundwhile also being pushed back by the emergence of a black hole, yet not even that was enough to stop the beast.
- It was as they began to approach the end, that he saw it's massive hand reaching for Achilles. The Gelmont had already been injured severely in their fight against the spirit, he couldn't just let them take another one like that.
- Jumping ahead, miscalculating the timing as he saw everyone pushing in for that last attack against the behemoth, he thought he would be able to push them aside in time, but instead, he was caught up in it's grasp instead and raised above it's mouth.
- "AAAGGGGHHHH!!!!!!"
- Their ribs begin to crack and breaking against each other, beding underneath that unearthly pressure. The fragments from it, causing severe internal bleeding and even piercing his lungs, causing the Rhoynur to cough out blood.
- Luckily, it's movements were slow, it's body completely charred and frozen at several joints, the atmosphere weighting down against down while their bones cracked against musical vibrations, and not to mention the several parts of it's bodies that had also been cut down in a blitz of shadows.
- It's thanks to the opportunity granted by those attacks that he manages to free himself just in time.
- His own blood gathering around his body, lashing at all around him in a viscious attack at every direction, cutting through the bones of it's hand, and even it's head.
- Falling to the ground, coughing and heaving for air, he takes a moment to control his internal bleeding, and push himself up after a minute.
- "Fucking hell... ugh..." Grabbing his chast and basically using his staff as a walking stick, he nodded at Grizzt. "Yeah, some drinks would definetly take this edge of. Holy shit... this hurts..."
- A glance was then spared at everyone around him. "You all alright?" Reaching for some water, he then accepts whatever was handed to himself. "Let's just get this stuff and go back home to rest."
- (Runihura)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [21:36] All aboard, and ready to start hunting. Ethia and the others split up and to scout the monsters, she really did not care what group she was in but was happy to be with her cousin.
- The melted several creatures quite fast, and she was happy with their progress over all. But then decided to split up in order to maximize their time.
- Ethia, Grizzt, and Achilles faced a rather.. Interesting spider, given they kind of enemy Destiny decided to join them. It was absolutely tank, but to her surprise did not pack the biggest punch. Though there were a lot of close calls.. Achilles... Why? Everything she tried to keep that man standing he was knocked down onto his feet again.
- But The monster did not just go after her cousin, it also went after Destiny and bit into her.. Fuck. Ethia's ran towards her friend knocking the spider off with her glacier wall.
- With that- The spider was squashed.
- The it was a nasty fire spirit, and Ethia could not stop it from burning her cousin alive.. But before she could react Destiny was bit by some kind of metal contraption. Her hand.. was mangled.. There would be no instruments played in awhile for the Moxtli people.
- But it too went down shorty after. Was it worth coming to this damn island?? Killing dragons, always killing dragons. Ethia had now helped in murdering her third dragon. She remembered how her cousin boasted about being a dragon slayer, but they all were.. Multiple times over.
- Though this dragon was not as strong as the last, it still managed to do some to their group... One by one everyone was getting injured, some would heal, some would not.
- But they were not done, oh were they not done.. A rather large monster was spotted in the high mountains to the north. They had time for one more, why not go out on a bang?
- Which not even moments into the battled Ethia regreted. The damn beast though she was some kind of toy and slammed her body into the ground hard. She felt her bones break as it tried to crush her. Wheezing for air- she needed help.. She tried using her ice magic to deter the beast... But that came to little luck.
- Grizzt's however did come though for her, but he was punished in to process. Nearly drowning in an orb of water.. She managed to break free, her wellspring water already surrounding her body, mending to ever so slowly.
- Ethia tired her hardest to pick people up, aiding them with her ponds of wellspring magic.. But this creature was smart... For each time she tried to heal an ally it would put large magic aoes over them..
- She was frustrated, she hatted seeing her friends fall one by one.. She felt powerless, though they managed to defeat the thing.. And just barely.
- And as they stood there, mending their wounds the announcer came by to drop their 'reward'. She had half a mind to take her frustration out on him.. But she held back, Ethia was in no condition for another fight.
- None of them were.
- (Ethia Alcast)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [21:42] With the path ahead set, his resolve is bolstered. The difficulty of what lies in wait remained a mystery, but it mattered not. Once an objective was set, there was only one outcome- To achieve it.
- His hand stretched to his side, beckoning the might of Imbrixium to heed his call. Salamander flames twist along his arms, lengthening beyond his digits. From the firestorm that scorched the air, the embers unravel to reveal the enormous sword smoldering in flame.
- Magma seeps through the core of Imbrixium like leylines, throbbing with the manifestation of mana. Thews grow taut in his arm before its hefted onto his shoulders. The massive blade standing taller than anyone present, lofty and overbearing in aura. Stifling heat scorches the air, and with every step from the robust Gelmont- the earth crumples, charred from intense heat.
- "Let's get this done, yeah? I trust we all wish to gain as much from this as possible."
- Silver boots thud forward, the burly young man marching into the wilderness alongside the others. However, the difficulties to overcome would prove beyond anything even he'd expected. And it all started with a single chubby monster. No matter how pleasant the appearance, it posed a threat, did it not?
- Flames billow from the walking furnace as his digits curl around the hilt. The scalding air hisses with activity from the blade. Imbrixium's edge glowing red with heat as he charged for with the others. Sturdy as its hide was, it was no much for the combined effort of several high-powered magi.
- The rest of the monsters they encountered were equally as powerful if not more- though not as deceptive. Hideous carapace, threatening poison, thick cartilage to prevent injury, sweltering heat that superceded even that of the Gelmont's. Every challenge grew more difficult than the lost and possessed terrifying might.
- Achilles himselftaking quite a bit of damage during their outing. In fact, it was safe to say he took the most. Injuries afflicted quicker than his aura could heal- He found himself in quite the position. Eventually, the wounds came quick enough that they'd stopped healing at a speed the naked eye could see.
- Exhausted, he'd experience a myriad of battle scars- The worst being the encounter with the flame spirit, burning his flesh till discolored. However, even then, no scream was heard, merely pained grunts and clenched jaw as he fought himself free. Whether due to his constant physical training or the traits of his righteous magic..
- He endured.
- Eventually, they'd felled all they'd came across. No one had died, but that didn't mean all were fine. His body had perhaps taken a toll greater than it would ever completely heal. His skin sizzled, but Imbrixium was still wielded efficiently. He'd huff, returning to the rendezvous point with the group.
- "Gods.. What a difficult challenge.. I'm not disappointed, though. This won't be the last time I return, though it is the last time these monsters will take a piece of me."
- The sweat-stained visage would shift to look at the others. "You're all okay enough to make it back I hope?" Standing above most if not all members- the herculean blonde looked down towards them as he spoke. In the meanwhile, he'd reach for a drink, revealing the hideous burn on his arm. A thin azure film coating the wound.
- (Achilles Gelmont)

- [21:46] THE SHADOW GAMES HAVE BEGUN
- The announcement rung off as sirens blared.
- The grounds stayed puddled, corrupted in shadowy magic and corrupted lands. Acheron dashed forward at the sound of the bell. Dispersing with his allies as the team split up to find their wants. Quickly heading about to defeat the creatures they chose to pursue.
- Bounding forward, leaping through the depraved lands, Acheron and his team came across several unique individuals, finding claim to their being as dashing away towards the others. Seeking out what they wished to be sowed, leaving the other creatures who bared no value towards the next group to adventure these lands.
- Another siren blared, indicating that their time was up.
- Quickly reconvening, the lot took to Runihura's drive. Following them towards their desired targets as they awfully managed to maul an unique, cute and bubbly creature that bared nothing to their name except for it's Arcanium.
- Carrying on, the group managed to find themselves against a Spider. One with toxins etched their surroundings, baring hidden fangs towards the lot as occultic energies carried forward, swiping away at their purity as bites were taken into several individuals, coming to find claim to some, as others stood valiant and unwavering. Battling against the forces that continued to plague the lands. Creatures that were to be hunted. Massacred and used for sport, to carry on the initial drive of their game.
- Departing and splitting into teams, one half sought to destroy a Fiery Spirit. While the other went to explore the ravaged lands, to discover what was lost and come to fruition with whatever was deemed worthly in the minds.
- Making haste throughout the grounds, Acheron along with the others, fell upon a separate entity. One that leaked void energy. It's chaotic embrace plagued their grounds, obliterating the very grounds theystood as everything simply... Returned to the void.
- The battle was nothing short but devastating.
- The calamity itself proved to be an anomaly in all it's ways. Counteracting their force with it's own magics, burning away at their frame as void energies spilled forth. Wrecking havoc upon the group as the continued to beat away at it's worn frame. The battle could be called dangerous at the very least. Over time had their group fell against the void dragon. Causing it's presence to grew taller. Beating away their souls as it carried forth with it's amoral breath.
- Turning to find his brother in the way, along with the rest upon their last wind. Acheron had no choice to force part of the group away with his metaphysical magics. Finding himself patronized with devastation as it was all just a ploy. An attention to grab himself away from protecting himself.
- Frozen in fear, he saw claim towards all the horrors that lied within it's blast.
- Taking the full brunt of it. Acheron felt his very essence radiate. Corrupted as his eyes grew wide. Seeing the void for what it was. For what it defined and how petrifying it was.
- The Power..
- He felt a presence enter him. His very spirit being pulled from the husk of his body. Changing as it was now corrupted by something... Else..
- His vision blurred. Finding nothing but an empty space, a void, darkness with an abnormal corruption plaguing his soul. Voices whispered to him, calling to him, BECKONING to him towards unnatural decisions. Unearthly calls, and unwelcomed thoughts.
- A call? A voice? From where? Who was directing it to himself? Who was CALLING to him, what was he supposed to do, how was he supposed to do it. Where was he? Who was it.
- Silently, mindless words called out for him.
- Seeking him as theygrew louder. More rampant, groaning into his subconscious as he felt himself being driven mam by them!
- 'Wake up!'
- His vision flashed, he was able to see the area now. With Achilles standing ontop of the Dragon's body. Finding claim for the kill himself.
- After a handful of talks and a mutual decision given, the group all agreed to carry on with their mission and fight until the bell was called. They didn't come here to give up after all.
- Finally, rushing towards the heights of the tallest mountain. Passing any foul being to dare stop their path. They all hurried up to find the greatest creature of them all. A menacing being, a creature worth of the Shadow Hunt.
- It's frame, it's form.
- It's presence alone spoke volumes of it's death defying strength. A being capable of unimaginable powers as they all rose against it. Working together to combat it's physical form with the combined effort of separate affinities and magics. Assaulting it with a combination of wild calls and decisive blows. All in the name to TAKE. IT. DOWN. To revel in their glory as they'd be the group to find claim to it's body. They'd be
- (Acheron Erebus)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [21:46] Words continued to fill his mind with unwanting temptations.
- All until the group finally managed to seek claim to it. To defeat it and win the Shadowhunts in their eyes.
- (Acheron Erebus)
- With the items given to the party, the announcer snapped their fingers, only to lead the group back to Mox, giving them a hidden smile.
- "Well, much appreciated on joining the First Shadow Hunt dear contenders. You surely cleaned up the place, but you missed so so much, but hopefully you'll come back one day....maybe with less....injuries. Ta ta for now~"
- With that, the man was gone, a blip out of existance, as if he never existed.
- "Feed your desires, Until next time!~"
