  1. Hi, As much as the "disable the Flashblock plugin and implement similar in the browser" might be a good idea, the implementation in the browser just doesn't work. Now *ALL* Flash crud plays *ALL* the time. If I liked toasted marshmallows this would be a good thing (Flash is the world's best piece of software for turning the exhaust fan from your laptop into a marshmallow toaster). However I don't like marshmallows toasted or otherwise. Nor do I like cruddy Flash advert crap running everywhere without my approval. I'm now trying to remember how to downgrade to Firefox 33.1 using the Ubuntu apt-get command rather than unpack the tar-ball and probably compile from scratch (another marshmallow-toasting activity). If you can actually make the in-browser Flash-blocker actually work that'd be grand. Until then, I'm off to version 33.1 and will remain there... or switch to Chrome or Opera. One day someone will calculate the energy cost wasted in pfaffing around like this (and the preposterous energy cost of cruddy Flash crap running away with my CPU cycles), but by then we'll probably have broken the planet's ecology beyond repair so it won't matter. Cheers, Chris.
