- Jump 474: Parasyte
- >Seven of Pentacles (Assessment): A pause to check on the progress of your labors. Evaluating the status of your work and your options for the future.
- Age: 15
- Location: Hiroshima, Japan
- Identity: Drop-In
- Drawbacks: (+200) Bakemono
- Oh. That's a bad thing, isn't it?
- >Life Must Be Protected (Free, Drop-In)
- It may not always be the easy thing, but it is the right thing.
- >Parasyte Sense (900, Drop-In)
- Well, at least I can detect when that guy who is apparently five separate parasytes is within a few blocks of me. Unfortunately I'm pretty sure he can detect me as well.
- >Task Force Requisition (300)
- To hell with the source material, I'm bringing in the brute squad. Now where can I get Kerberos armor and flamethrowers on short notice...
- >Genetic Sensor Schematics (100)
- And this is how we're going to find them. I mean, it's not exactly ideal, but if we can reduce it to handheld size we can mount it on quadcopter drones and have them fly around.
- Speaking of which, we have that sort of drone tech NOW, why isn't anyone doing cool shit with THOSE other than occasionally throwing cameras on them?
- >Companions: Human Beings (Cammy and the Dolls)
- And now I have competent people to head up the Brute Squad. I mean uh, Task Force.
- Seriously, though, if anyone is remotely savvy, dealing with the parasytes is reduced to a TRIVIAL task. At which point a jumper would turn their attention to the source, and deal with that accordingly.
- Aside from that one that keeps following me because I'm PRETTY sure they aren't supposed to scatter when I light them on fire and run away as five separate entities, then come at me in really crappy homemade armor, and when shot merge back into a monster.
- Seriously, the fuck is going on with that guy?
