  1. Perfection; what society associates media with. Most people believe what the media shows us is incomparable, the best, the divine. But is it really the best? Or do we just adore it because it sells the “perfect” lifestyle, something beyond our reach? We worship our media, our images, mistaking them with the divine. When really, it’s nothing but a fake, god-like lifestyle that no one gets to live, as no one is perfect. Everyday millions upon millions flick on their screens and get hypnotized. Watching television is for entertainment purposes, an activity to turn to when you have free time on your hands, not an object of worship. But still, the media controls us. It tells us what to think, what to wear and what to desire. “Why buy that cheap two dollar lip-gloss when I can buy the expensive ten dollar lip-gloss, it is better right?” Wrong. It’s not better; the only thing that is better is the logo, the company. This soon becomes our reality. Media changes everything around us and quite honestly, that horrifies me. How can anyone let something so fabricated have such a huge impact on their decisions, and control their outlook on life? Our society needs to wake up and click back into the real reality. The blindfold needs to be removed or else our society will be doomed to utter failure.
