Backstory:
Willard is an orphan, born with no parents. Growing up in a foster home, he found that exploring unfamiliar places interested him a lot more than schooling. However, he didn't truly have an interest in becoming a ranger until his first run-in with an elven ranger at 14. He observed from a safe distance and marveled at the elf's ability to disappear in the woods with no magic whatsoever and to hit a small target from over 30 yards away. At 16, Willard would decide to become a ranger. However, it turns out to be much harder than anticipated; stringing a bow that doesn't break when stretched farther than two inches is hard, camouflaging is surprisingly hard, and tracking animals and people from the marks they left on the ground is headache-worthy. But Willard's tenacity won out, and he's now a fledging ranger. What will this ranger accomplish in his lifetime?
