  1. The main problems I have with the global Communist movement are the following
  2.
  3. 1. There is little to no understanding of suffering (as we knew it then), I feel most Communists would view the battle for Communism to be just as important under the material conditions a billion years from now as it was 100 years ago or today. This is something Maoist Third Worldists understood. They cared about the suffering going on in the 4th world and I love them for it.
  4. 2. There is no understanding of the social mobility available in modern times. My father almost chose to invest in a liquor store one time. Is he now deserving of death if he had made that choice? Maoist Third Worldists are consistent on his status from birth to death. They are looking at the actual material conditions people are living in and the root causes of it.
  5. 3. There is no appreciation of the rationality of not making that investment (loss of investment, communists). I do think investment can possibly bring too much profit, especially for the already rich who don't have to fear losing their investment beyond prestige.
  6. 4. Even if we accept the labour theory of value as true (and I don't think that is where we are headed), I don't feel the Capitalists status as a 'vampire' has been rigorously proved. Is the central economic planning committee vampires? His role is still similar to theirs.
  7. 5. Seizure of the means of production and seizure of the state apparatus are obfuscated to be the same thing, when in reality they are two wholly separate ideas.
  8.
  9. There's still a lot to learn about this subject, I think for all of us.
