  1. **following this gorgeous log from Tridemon: https://pastebin.com/iQ93mePg
  2. Gurashi, pre-domoth while Tridemon was broody: https://pastebin.com/6A85qLzd
  3.
  4. then Gurashi went home because hasn't been feeling good since previous events**
  5.
  6. A modest kitchen with forest motifs. (#HAH_3)
  7. The shadowy outline of a twisted forest casts a dark gloom here. Like something out of a story book, this little kitchen with a small center island feels warm and comfortable. Ground-level cabinets have been painted a rich forest green and are outlined with tiny handmade crow and leaf imprints. High-mounted ravenwood shelves are lined with jars of herbs and spices, as well as odd-shaped baking implements and pans. Cast iron fixtures are set in strategic places beside heavy wash basins, and an open window overlooks the garden, offering a refreshing breeze. Hanging over the island is a blackened storage rack with several well-used skillets and cooking utensils suspended by hooks. A half dozen cabinets have small locks fastened to their handles, the dark metal surfaces carved with beautiful leafy patterns. Offsetting the dark decorations are brightly colored hand towels and oven mitts decorated with childish happy cows playing in a field. A wooden stool carved to appear as a hand rests sturdily on its own wrist, awaiting occupation. A coiling silhouette of thickets is inked upon the supple surface of this softly pale tea table, low to the ground. Warm honeyed hues dance upon the surroundings, cast by a delicately-scented glass lantern from its perch upon a nearby wall. Central to the kitchen is a large oven, next to racks of pots and pans that hang nearby. A painting of Gurashi and the Chamber of Crab-ness is proudly exhibited on a nearby wall. In the shape of an open palm, a metallic sigil lies here. A gilded pedestal, displaying a painting of An Angry Fruit Bowl, stands here, its gold leaf cracked and weathered. A gilded pedestal, displaying a painting of a hoard of gold, stands here, its gold leaf cracked and weathered. There are 2 ethereal cats here. A luminescent butterfly flutters about here, emanating a soft glow.
  8. You see exits leading south, west (open door), and up (open door).
  9.
  10. You think to yourself: **a thrum of sound**
  11.
  12. Great waves crash over one another as they pour in from the south, finally swirling together before solidifying into Tridemon.
  13.
  14. You think to yourself: **an unwelcome and familiar buzzing and scraping, droning on**.
  15.
  16. You have emoted: Gurashi looks up, mid-sip from his waterskin. He puffs his cheeks and promptly spits the drink back into the sink, coughing. "Oh my gosh Tridemon, you -scared- me!"
  17.
  18. You cough softly.
  19.
  20. You cough softly.
  21.
  22. Hitting his chest with his closed fist, you say to Tridemon, "Ahhh - you are O-K?? You left so suddenly the other day... I - oh gosh."
  23.
  24. Tridemon stands more or less in silence, tilting his head slightly... before focusing on the hivenoise, eyes suddenly flaring with a light blue glow for a moment as he channels what is essentially "SHUT UP, TALK SOMEWHERE ELSE" at it, with a slight tinge of madness around the edges.
  25.
  26. You have emoted: Gurashi jolts in surprise at the intensity of the sensation, so much so he bumps into the counter, quickly growing rigid.
  27.
  28. You think to yourself: **a strange hush, bringing down the chattering and gnawing to an uncertain murmur - present, uncomfortable, but not unbearable**.
  29.
  30. You stare at Tridemon, eyes wide.
  31.
  32. You think to yourself: *meanwhile - white, hot fear: am in trouble?*.
  33.
  34. Tridemon pats you in a friendly manner.
  35.
  36. You stare at Tridemon, eyes wide.
  37.
  38. Finally, you ask Tridemon, "..... Tridemon?"
  39.
  40. Tridemon nods his head sagely.
  41.
  42. Tridemon ponders the situation.
  43.
  44. Tridemon reaches out and settles the back of his hand along your forehead to check your temperature.
  45.
  46. You have emoted: Gurashi continues to stand stiff in his spot, unsure what to do next. Suddenly, he looks up as he feels Tridemon's hand on his head, taken aback. His skin is hot and clammy against your hand.
  47.
  48. Ocean waves echoing softly behind his voice, Tridemon Regalis, Keeper of Pure Waters says, "... you'll feel better shortly."
  49.
  50. You have emoted: Gurashi frowns, scrunching his nose a little bit. Finally, he shamefully drops his gaze. "Am sorry about before. When it was really loud." He clenches and relaxes his fists. "...you are O-K?"
  51.
  52. Tridemon tilts his head curiously.
  53.
  54. Ocean waves echoing softly behind his voice, Tridemon Regalis, Keeper of Pure Waters says, "Yes, I'm fine."
  55.
  56. Voice bright and clear, you say to Tridemon, "Mean - it..."
  57.
  58. The evening air is warm and still, and your surroundings glitter with dappled, luminous starlight.
  59. It is now the 18th of Shanthin, 559 years after the Coming of Estarra.
  60. There are 1 days until the New Moon
  61.
  62. You have emoted: Gurashi wrings his hands together now. "Gets so loud. And you and Bizi have to listen to it all, too. And just - worry? It is a lot."
  63.
  64. Voice bright and clear, you say, "Would be the worst thing -ever- if anything happened to you because of it, yes."
  65.
  66. Ocean waves echoing softly behind his voice, Tridemon Regalis, Keeper of Pure Waters says, "... I didn't leave because of the hive noise."
  67.
  68. You think to yourself: **morose shades of blue-violet, regret, guilt**.
  69.
  70. You have emoted: Gurashi looks up, still frowning.
  71.
  72. Ocean waves echoing softly behind his voice, Tridemon Regalis, Keeper of Pure
  73. Waters says, "I left because Khep was yelling and didn't seem inclined to stop."
  74.
  75. Quickly and quietly, you say, "Am sorry.."
  76.
  77. You have emoted: Gurashi looks down again, fidgeting.
  78.
  79. Tridemon pats you in a friendly manner.
  80.
  81. Quiet still, you say, "Still. Hivenoise, or no."
  82.
  83. Fidgeting again, you say, "Just. Ah."
  84.
  85. You flail about helplessly.
  86.
  87. Fireflies light up the darkness outside as they dance in slow, chaotic patterns.
  88.
  89. You think to yourself: **still deeply aching, and tired - tired and worried and guilty**.
  90.
  91. Ocean waves echoing softly behind his voice, Tridemon Regalis, Keeper of Pure Waters says, "I also made something. For the next time Nepra decides she needs to try and stab you."
  92.
  93. Scratching at his circlet, mussing up his hair, you ask Tridemon, "Made something...?"
  94.
  95. Ocean waves echoing softly behind his voice, Tridemon Regalis, Keeper of Pure Waters says, "It's a secret."
  96.
  97. A warm, gentle wind brings forth the scents and sounds of fresh moving water.
  98.
  99. You have emoted: Gurashi drops his arm, canting his head to the side, his hair staying comically upright where he scratched it.
  100.
  101. You narrow your eyes at Tridemon in an unnerving manner.
  102.
  103. The gray light of morning bleeds through the branches of the Ravenwood trees.
  104.
  105. Voice bright and clear, you ask Tridemon, "...a good...secret...?"
  106.
  107. Ocean waves echoing softly behind his voice, Tridemon Regalis, Keeper of Pure Waters says, "... It'll probably end up making you really, really sad, but not because of anything that is immediately happening?"
  108.
  109. You stare at Tridemon, eyes wide.
  110.
  111. Narrowing his eyes a little and swaying, you say to Tridemon, "... am I gonna want to hug you."
  112.
  113. You look at Tridemon, expression filled with concern as you frown.
  114.
  115. Tridemon shifts his eyes suspiciously from side to side.
  116.
  117. Tridemon pats you in a friendly manner.
  118.
  119. You think to yourself: **a wave of hot and sick, crimson - throat clenches and opens again**.
  120.
  121. You cough softly.
  122.
  123. You take a long draught of water, hoping to quench your thirst.
  124.
  125. Warm cider-orange hues seep out of a nearby honeycomb lantern and bathe the area in a gentle glow, its delicate woody fragrance reminiscent of wild honey.
  126.
  127. You have emoted: Gurashi covers his mouth after taking another sip of water, glancing up at his lantern and staring at it appreciatively.
  128.
  129. You think to yourself: Gotta finish...
  130.
  131. You think to yourself: **low thrumming, chittering hive noise.... an occasional loud tick or click**.
  132.
  133. Ocean waves echoing softly behind his voice, Tridemon Regalis, Keeper of Pure Waters says, "It'll work out for the best."
  134.
  135. Worried, you say to Tridemon, "How do you know."
  136.
  137. You stare at Tridemon, eyes wide.
  138.
  139. Wide-eyed, you say to Tridemon, "So far, it does not seem to be the best for anybody."
  140.
  141. Voice bright and clear, you say, "Miss Khep is -stressed-, and I am just..." He reaches up, then drops his arms again, "uselessly..."
  142.
  143. Tridemon reaches over and ruffles your hair with a fond expression.
  144.
  145. You flail about helplessly.
  146.
  147. You have emoted: Gurashi waves at your arm, his face flushing as his expression contorts with frustration.
  148.
  149. Ocean waves echoing softly behind his voice, Tridemon Regalis, Keeper of Pure Waters says, "Khep... does not appreciate the strength of ideas enough. Because they're intangible."
  150.
  151. Ocean waves echoing softly behind his voice, Tridemon Regalis, Keeper of Pure Waters says, "She doesn't really trust what I'm doing, I don't think. And it's fair. I'm not always sure of what I'm doing myself."
  152.
  153. Voice bright and clear, you say, "And there's..."
  154.
  155. You think to yourself: **another wash of white, hot fear - followed quickly by feeling pinpricks - feeling on the verge of something, brushing up against something or someone, though no? nothing to be seen**.
  156.
  157. Loud to the point of seeming reverberation, cicadas play out buzzing dissonances.
  158. Ocean waves echoing softly behind his voice, Tridemon Regalis, Keeper of Pure Waters says, "It'd be easier... if I were trying to kill something, honestly."
  159.
  160. Sadly, you say, "None of this has been useful for Friend Asch...w..."
  161.
  162. You have emoted: Gurashi trails off, lifting his gaze and frowning. "No."
  163.
  164. Ocean waves echoing softly behind his voice, Tridemon Regalis, Keeper of Pure Waters says, "Yes, I know."
  165.
  166. Voice bright and clear, you say to Tridemon, "No hurting."
  167.
  168. You nod your head sagely.
  169.
  170. You have emoted: Gurashi folds his arms awkwardly over his chest, tucking his hands under his armpits and bunching his shoulders as he shivers. "I trust you," He says with a nod. "Am sorry Miss Khep gets so upset at you over it."
  171.
  172. Thoughtfully, you say to Tridemon, "...have wondered if ..."
  173.
  174. Pausing to take a sip of water, you say, "Maybe, we were best friends before - Miss Khep and I, mean."
  175.
  176. Voice bright and clear, you say, "Cause, sometimes it is like, an angry angry, and sometimes it is a -protective- angry, but -sometimes- it is a -jealous- angry."
  177.
  178. You twiddle your thumbs.
  179.
  180. You take a long draught of water, hoping to quench your thirst.
  181.
  182. You have emoted: Gurashi shakes his head, reaching up and pressing his water skin against his face, sighing.
  183.
  184. The soft tinkling of seashell wind chimes is carried in on a warm breeze.
  185.
  186. Ocean waves echoing softly behind his voice, Tridemon Regalis, Keeper of Pure Waters says, "Doesn't seem far-fetched."
  187.
  188. You think to yourself: **buzzing, murmuring...chitter, chitter, chitter, like a pulsing beat**.
  189.
  190. You have emoted: Gurashi takes a deep breath, then takes another sip of water, shuffling towards his stairs. "Think am gonna go lay down... still don't feel so great."
  191.
  192. Voice bright and clear, you say to Tridemon, "...mm. Thank you for yelling. And. All the other stuff..."
  193.
  194. Voice bright and clear, you say, "I don't think..."
  195.
  196. You have emoted: Gurashi looks about himself. "Do have anything can give you..."
  197.
  198. Quietly, you say, "Oh, lucky us."
  199.
  200. Tridemon gives a bucket to you.
  201.
  202. You have emoted: Gurashi wanders back over from the stairs, meekly grabbing your arm to lift it so that he may place his last frozen lemon tart squarely in your palm. He nods, taking the bucket, and offering a clumsy half bow.
  203.
  204. You give a frozen lemon tart to Tridemon Regalis, Keeper of Pure Waters.
  205.
  206. Hugging the bucket to his chest, you say, "Please keep an eye out for Bizi. Sent her off a little while ago, yes. Will probably go find you."
  207.
  208. Ocean waves echoing softly behind his voice, Tridemon Regalis, Keeper of Pure Waters says, "She'll probably tell me she wants shrimp."
  209.
  210. You gaze softens as you smile.
  211.
  212. You nod your head emphatically.
  213.
  214. You think to yourself: ........
  215.
  216. You nod your head emphatically.
  217.
  218. You wave goodbye at Tridemon.
  219.
  220. You have emoted: Gurashi soundlessly drifts up the stairs, shutting the door behind him.
  221.
  222. A quaint bedroom overlooking the garden. (#HAH_6)
  223. Stepping inside this small, relatively plain bedroom, one might believe it belongs to a youth. Ikon collections have been displayed on thin wall-set shelves, and pretty stones, bug shells and picked flowers decorate various surfaces. A small wooden wind chime has been hung from a hook beside one open window, clunking softly while creating simple melodies. The fragrance of the garden wafts into this room, smelling of rich wet dirt and flowers. On the sill of the other window sits a small terrarium filled with moss and rotting wood, and a tiny death watch beetle ticks happily inside. A wooden board has been hung by the door, pinned with important news bulletins and a few lavender letters. Painting its surroundings with gentle sprays of color, a stained glass lantern glows here. A four poster bed stands here, invitingly strewn with cushions and blankets. Invitingly deep and made of warmly coloured wood, a rocker is here. Blocking out the light, a pair of forestal drapes are closed here. A large ravenwood chest rests on its side in the corner of the room, its lid swung open like a cabinet door to reveal many compartments and their contents inside. A silk-spun carpet covers the floor in a vibrant array of feather grasses, scattered here and there with the rose-purple blooms of strawberry clover. A painting of Gurashi and the Faeling Princess is proudly exhibited on a nearby wall. A gilded pedestal, displaying a painting of No Longer Alone, stands here, its gold leaf cracked and weathered. A gilded pedestal, displaying a painting of Beginnings Upon the Beach, stands here, its gold leaf cracked and weathered. A gilded pedestal, displaying a painting of A Mother's Care, stands here, its gold leaf cracked and weathered.
  224. You see a single exit leading northeast (open door).
  225.
  226. You close the oak door to the northeast.
  227.
  228. Loud to the point of seeming reverberation, cicadas play out buzzing dissonances.
  229.
  230. Brilliant sunset hues bathe your surroundings in a warm carmine afterglow.
  231.
  232. You have emoted: Gurashi pulls his door shut, then turns, resting his forehead against it, still holding the bucket tightly to his chest.
  233.
  234. You think to yourself: I do not want to know.
  235.
  236. You think to yourself: / *a silent, watchful gaze - present from the beginning, masked in hivenoise and pain* /.
  237.
  238. You think to yourself: Is too late to change mind...?
  239.
  240. You think to yourself: / ..... /.
  241.
  242. You think to yourself: Can you stay and can I forget any of this happened.
  243.
  244. You have emoted: Gurashi gives a bucket a little squeeze, eyes watering.
  245.
  246. You think to yourself: **pin-prickling...**.
  247.
  248. You think to yourself: What -is- that, Khepqet.
  249.
  250. You think to yourself: **.. khepqet.. **.
  251.
  252. You shiver violently.
  253.
  254. You have emoted: Gurashi cautiously reaches out, sensing the manse is empty of other Fate-touched.
  255.
  256. You think to yourself: **bright, nervous white** ....who is that.
  257.
  258. You think to yourself: I-is it... uh... **brighter white, harder to speak** A... m...
  259.
  260. You think to yourself: / No, Gurashi /.
  261.
  262. It is now the 19th of Shanthin, 559 years after the Coming of Estarra.
  263. There are 32 days until the New Moon
  264.
  265. You have emoted: Gurashi narrows his eyes in confusion, turning away from the door.
  266.
  267. You think to yourself: / *buzzing softly, stoic* ... I.... /.
  268.
  269. You think to yourself: / ..... *far away sounding* ...els like Tiso ......... *softer, buzzing eventually swallowing up any other words she murmurs* /.
