Making Eggs Tutorial

Tutorial for making eggs for an egglocke to send to someone
Definition on what is an egglocke is down at the bottom

1. Download the rar file including PkHex and the pokemon emerald rom that we are using

2. (Optional) Make a folder on your desktop for your eggs

3. Open "PkHex"

4. Click "File" -> Open and open the file "Pkmn Emerald.SAV" from the folder you just downloaded and hit yes

5. Make whatever pokemon you want. steps below: (MAKE SURE YOU ONLY CHOOSE POKEMON FROM 1ST, 2ND, OR 3RD GEN)
	A. Species = Pokemon. Choose whatever pokemon you want
	B. Nickname = We will change the nickname to whatever we want once the egg hatches. so this doesnt matter
	C. Exp - leave alone. (once you set the "Level" to level 5, the exp will change. that is fine)
	D. Level - 5
	E. Nature - Choose what nature you want
	F. Held Item - When the egg hatches, the pokemon will be holding this item
	G. Hatch Counter - Leave Alone
	H. Ability - Choose whatever ability you want (It will only show abilities that the pokemon is capable of having)
	I. Language - Doesnt matter
	J. IMPORTANT - CHECK THE BOX THAT SAYS "IS EGG" AND NOTHING ELSE
	K. Met Tab = Leave Alone
	L. Stats Tab- You can choose the IVs and EVs and Hidden Power type if you like, or you can just hit "Randomize"
	M. Attack Tab - You can either choose what attacks the pokemon will have on your own, or you can click current moves
			and it will give you recommended moves for the pokemon to have. If you choose the moves on your own, the green
			moves are legal moves then pokemon can learn. Try to pick from these. If you dont, thats fine.
	N. OT/Misc - If you want your name to be the OT of the pokemon, you can change it here in the "OT:___" section under
			"Trainer Information". Leave everything else alone

Once you finish making a pokemon go to step 6

6. Click "File" -> "Save PKM..." and choose a folder to save the pokemon in

7. Make as many pokemon eggs as you would like and save them all into the same folder

8. Upload your folder of pokemon eggs to either dropbox or some file hosting site like that

9. Either message Zetris or I, RebelWatt, on twitter, discord, or twitch with a link to the file with the folder of pokemon to download

Definition of Egglocke: You guys give us a bunch of eggs. Then Zetris and I will put them in our rom of pokemon emerald. Once we do that, we will select 4 eggs at random. If one dies, we can replace it with another egg, however, we cannot replace one just because we dont like it. It will hatch at level 5 though, so we will have to train it up from there.
