04:50:19: <ViejoOsoGrande> "Right, that's our destination then, let's go," Batharl begins to walk towards it, then suddenly stops. "Ah, yeah, there might be some, er, weird magic down there."

04:56:23: <Rainglove> Roz floats his lights deeper down the cave as they approach, lighting deeper into the cave. You can only see about eighty feet from his lights, the cave fades into blackness beyond that. It looks pretty normal from up here, grey stone leading deeper into the ground.

05:08:44: <Rainglove> The fog recedes as you all head deeper, falling back from the lights. Eelis, you can feel that thin layer of evocation magic over everything strengthening as you head deeper. Heading deeper, a wall of the blue fog comes into view, and this doesn't fall away from the lights.

05:12:11: <Rainglove> Roz attempts to dispel magic, but nothing happens. "Doesn't look like it, no."

05:19:25: <ViejoOsoGrande> Batharl walks off to the side until he finds the cave wall, then begins to walk forward with the wall by his side.

05:21:29: <Rainglove> Roz follows along in the back, eyeing the fog. After taking just a few steps into the fog, everything fades from view. You can barely make out the wall you're walking besides, but it's too thick for you to even see the floor clearly.

05:28:15: <Rainglove> Eelis, you can feel a thick layer of raw evocation magic hovering around you and the others, it almost seems to be clinging to your skin. Batharl, the wall suddenly falls away from your side. You /were/ touching wall just a second ago, but you're very suddenly not.

05:39:50: <Rainglove> A rock floats off the ground and hovers a few inches over one of Roz's hands. "Just cut off psionically, I'm good otherwise. Something about all this, maybe." He gestures to the fog.

05:46:55: <ViejoOsoGrande> After a little bit of clumsy searching in the direction of Eelis' voice, he finds her hands, then after leaving a good amount of rope loose between her and Roz, begins to tie it around her waist.

06:07:25: <Rainglove> Roz hops in after them. They're standing in a cylindrical room, two wooden doors set in the walls. The room is about thirty feet across, and floor is wood as well, oddly enough. Several bookshelves sit against the wall, and a table with a chair sitting next to it occupy the center of the room. Several books are piled on the table.

06:10:02: <Rainglove> Roz wanders over to a bookshelf and starts examining the books. "There are a few rooms like this I've found elsewhere. Don't know how they got where they are, but... interesting."

06:14:13: <Rainglove> "The same books are in all of these, but I still check every time, never know..." The books on the shelf seem to cover a wide variety of topics, Eelis. Everything from weaponmaking to beginner's guides to arcane magic to cooking manuals.
06:15:05: <ViejoOsoGrande> "I'm going to go check the other rooms while you scan over these books." Batharl goes through one of the doors.

06:19:30: <Rainglove> Batharl, torches flare to life around you as you enter the room. The room is crowded with three or four shelves, all containing various goods. A set of weapon and armor racks sit against one wall, both occupied. Make a perception check.

You spot a pair of shortswords that seem to be paired with each other, a greatsword that seems beautifully made, a longbow, a greatsword that seems... different, from the first, but not in a way you can really quantify, and a lone swordbreaker dagger. The armor rack has a few pieces on display.

07:12:50: <Rainglove> Batharl, there are a few different items here. You spot one rack full of vials with liquids of different colors and consistencies inside of them, a few articles of clothing, and couple small boxes.

07:14:51: <Rainglove> One contains a set of rings, while another contains what look like several small gemstones of varying colors. There are four or five boxes, it'll take you a while to sort through these.

07:38:20: <Rainglove> "I don't know what they're for, and they never really seem magically protected. Trying to leave some of them triggers... aggressive responses, but other than that, no protection."

07:49:49: <Rainglove> "Yes. The only rooms I've been able to leave unharmed are the kind without those sorts of chambers." He nods towards the room full of equipment. "Teleporting out hurts, and I just get yanked back."
07:50:39: <ViejoOsoGrande> "Let's just look the damn place then. We're deal with whatever this place throws at us when we're out, preferably by cutting its head off."

07:52:36: <Rainglove> Roz follows, eyeing some of the equipment, then leaves it. "You need these sorts of things more than I do. I can help carry some, if you need." He examines several of the shelves.

07:53:46: <ViejoOsoGrande> Batharl sets his bag on the floor and begins putting the equipment inside it.
07:56:55: <Rainglove> "... Hold off on that for a minute." Roz rummages around on the shelf that he's at, then tosses an unusually heavy but small bag at Batharl. "That'll do it."

07:57:28: <Rainglove> "Open it."
07:57:37: <ViejoOsoGrande> Batharl opens it.
07:57:41: <ViejoOsoGrande> And peers inside.
07:59:16: <Rainglove> The inside of the bag is about fifteen feet wide and twenty feet deep.

08:02:37: <Rainglove> "Most likely, in whatever comes after all this. Might want to be careful though, magic stuff like that tends to have... unusual secondary effects. Might be good, might be bad."

08:03:31: <Rainglove> He chuckles. "Sometimes I prefer the weapons with obvious defects, but yeah, makes sense."
08:03:51: <ViejoOsoGrande> "I'll wait until we're safely back and it's been properly identified before deciding what I want to do with them."
08:04:09: <Rainglove> "Yeah, there's... there's a lot in here."
08:04:35: <ViejoOsoGrande> Presumably everyone shoves the items of worth, weapons, armour, the rings, clothes, etc. into the bag of holding. Batharl looks around the room to see if there's anything they've missed.

08:09:10: <Rainglove> Nope. The shelves are emptied, and so are the racks. Roz grins. "Lucky find, this. Assuming we get out of here alright."
08:11:34: <ViejoOsoGrande> "Of course we will. One lopped off head was nice, but I'm feeling like there need to be more," Batharl grins.
08:13:39: <Rainglove> "Afraid I'm not gonna be a whole lot of help." The grin vanishes. "I'll do what I can, but I'm not gonna be too useful for anything beyond support spells. Don't suppose you're a shortsword or starknife kinda guy?"
08:14:18: <ViejoOsoGrande> "How come? And, Roz, I don't even know what the hell a starknife is," Batharl laughs.
08:16:36: <Rainglove> He taps his head. "My link with the big guy... it's a fair bit more than your standard telepathic link. If I have a bit to prepare I can warn people and generally be alright, but here... I'm hurting pretty bad. I'll be alright, but not too helpful. And yeah, most people don't, but I figured it'd be worth asking."

08:18:42: <ViejoOsoGrande> "Right, I get it now. I'll be diving sword-first into any combat so don't you worry. Take whatever you need of the equipment of course."
08:20:50: <Rainglove> He shakes his head. "Nah, I'm pretty well stocked on magic equipment, and I like what I've got. You lot take what you need."
08:23:21: <ViejoOsoGrande> "Alright then, let's head out." With all the valuable items in the bag of holding, Batharl shoves it in his own bag, then heads for the main room.
