let's just remember folks, creationism is an equal theory on footing with evolution! even though it's utterly unfalsifiable by nature and appeals to the ignorance of humanity who feels like they need some sort of third party to dictate what is and isn't right in reality, because otherwise they wouldn't know how to feel about anything.

but in all seriousness, as it stands, creationism will never be an acceptable scientific "theory." if anything, it could only really be considered as a hypothetical explanation for how things might be based on what people want to believe. the one thing that evolution has is the potential to be falsified; that's what makes it a useful and rigorous theory. there is a set of occurrences wherein if such  were to occur, the theory would be disproven. and this is a GOOD thing. you don't want a theory to be utterly resilient to being disproven because if there's no way you could create a situation that it's not true, then all you're accounting for are the situations where you perceive it as being true. a strong theory NEEDS to be falsifiable.

also, in b4 microevolution HAS been proven and is easy to replicate in a lab environment with rapidly reproducing biological life such as bacteria and the like. Microevolution, macroevolution, believe it or not they both refer to the same concept (evolution) considering its right there in the name. It's just the context wherein said evolution is occurring. And it only makes sense to say that if you can create and prove Microevolution, then you can extrapolate outwards from there and determine that macroevolution would work just as well, but perhaps operate on greater time scales since most complex life has generations that last far longer than an hour or two. Bacterial cultures can reproduce rapidly, which makes it easier to see just how evolution happens in action. But you're never going to see macroevolution happen all at once because it requires generational developments and progress over time, which by nature means you're going to have to die before it'll even start being visible. You might see the hints of the beginning of an evolutionary shift, but your life is only going tk span one average human life, statistically speaking, and that won't be anywhere near the hundreds of thousands of generations necessary for genetic diversification to occur.

But hey. I guess some kids in some schools won't be taught the critical thinking necessary to allow them to understand an argument like this. Might as well teach them to be malleable, subservient tools to serve the greater interests of creationism. After all, if you allowed them to question it and learn the reality of things, you might just contribute to a more enlightened world where people don't rely on books from thousands of years ago written by a bunch of different people who can't even agree on what they're writing about.  You might just contribute to a world where people aren't afraid to question everything as is their right as a sentient being. You might just contribute to a better tomorrow.

Wait, what am I saying? No doubt you'd rather support the source of the majority of war and animosity in our world. And then turn a blind eye to the hypocritical nature of your beliefs and the contradictory teachings that you accept as divine. No doubt you would rather worship an imperfect, man-made god who is so clearly imperfect but everyone just acts like he truly is omnipresent and omnipotent. Not to mention omnibenevolent, even though the fact of the matter is he's nothing more than a sadistic sociopath who literally murdered hundreds of thousands of people and had wars fought in his name, only to eventually outlaw "MURDER" (it's thou shalt not murder! not kill, which means it's absolutely okay to take a life in certain contexts right?) and try to seem rational and kind to his creation...

After writing about five other rules about how you only should worship him and never question him and accept him as the ultimate authority. And if you're good, you get to go to heaven where you can spend the rest of eternity worshipping him. Worshipping a jealous, spiteful, manipulative god. You're not worshipping Yahweh. You're worshipping the true nature of humanity. wake the fuck up.
