- TOWER OF BABEL
- - Skip intro CS

- - Mash attack thru Carmine battle until he casts Prominence, then skip both cutscenes
- LONDON
- - Head into town, then walk up in front of the Adventurer's Association for the Magi CS
- - Walk into AA, talk to the clerk, then head to the sewers
- SEWERS
- - Kill all encounters; 3 before Pad gets you Overdrive by Monster Rat
- - get the 500G, then flip the switch
- - Say "no" to learning about skills
- - Walk into Pad CS and fight Rat horde
- > All are a one-shot, so just prioritize killing the ones that will next take their turn
- - Walk into the save light to heal, get the Heal Bottles in the chest
- - Walk across the stairs to the right, and fight Monster Rat
- > Whether or not Overdrive is faster depends on turn order; if Eddie goes last then just spam attack
- > Otherwise, Overdrive can stop MR from taking a fourth turn
- > This might depend if you level just before MR, which is possible with an extra encounter
- - Head left, flip the switch, and continue over the bridge and out of the sewers, killing encounters
- LONDON
- - Head back to AA and talk to clerk
- - Go to the airship dock and walk up to the Maverick, then skip the second part of the CS
- - Fight the two eagles ("no" to tutorial); Eddie attacks front, Pad attacks sides
- - Fly to Cairo (southeast), running from Eagle, but not from Air Blitz
- CAIRO
- - Shopping: Armor, Weapons, Items
- > Armor: Turban (Eddie), Gunman's Hat (Pad), Leather Gloves (both)
- > Weapons: Claymore (Eddie), Handgun (Pad)
- > Items: 11 Heal Bottles/3 Sacrifice Dolls/10 Mechanic's Tools
- > Consider rebalancing the item buy--you may need fewer HBs, so you can stock up on MTs
- > Probably want to buy even twice as many HBs, so they can last you through Tower of Babel
- - Talk to man next to the bar, then Shirley inside the bar
- - Leave and fly to the Pyramid
- PYRAMID
- - Heal as necessary, killing all encounters
- - Against parties consisting of multiple Mummies and Skeletons, target Mummies first to decrease the amount of damage you take
- - Against parties of 3 (even 2?), consider Overdrive. This should allow Eddie to 2HKO Mummies, Sandworms, and Spiders, while Pad racks up damage on Skeletons
- - You must get Lv. 5 with Eddie before Pharaoh anyway, so you have Combo Attack for the fight
- - It's okay to risk Eddie or Pad dying if you already have Lv. 5 and you are just about to reach the save light, as the light will revive
- - Experience
- > Sandworm:

- > Skeleton+Mummy:
- > Spider: 17
- - Turn up and go straight until you reach the sealed door; insert the key and proceed
- - Dodge the boulder and go down the stairs; make sure you are healed to full before the triple Mummy fight
- - Dodge all the other fights
- - Enter 3B and open the final door with the chamber key, and touch the save light before Pharaoh
- - Pharaoh
- > Spam with Pad
- > Overdrive -> Combo Attackx2 with Eddie
- - Enter the Library of Alexandrina, climb the ladder and pick up the pipe after the Carlos CS, then walk right to get the Warp Stone and warp out
- - Fly back to Cairo
- CAIRO
- - CS with Shirley
- - Enter the bar and talk to the man sitting at the bar (Brian)
- - Leave and fly to Merveille
- MERVEILLE
- - Talk to the Elder in the top house
- - Walk back to the ship, watch CS, then fly toward Cape Town, passing by the Pyramid
- - Make sure your ship is fully healed, as the Esperanza fight will start immediately
- - Esperanza
- > While she is in front, you can use Random+Gun with Pad (in a row) to increase damage slightly
- > A move to the side slows the fight considerably, so just have at least 1 MT on deck (2 for safety)
- > Random seems to also be good when she is on the side, as it gives Pad just a bit more damage
- - Heal to full after the fight
- - Land in Cape Town
- CAPE TOWN
- - Walk out of the air dock, watch the intro CS, then go back and take Maverick to Eterna Mines
- ETERNA MINES
- - On an average run, I had 436 SP at this point. If there is some specific damage output you need, you could use the SP now, but at Lv. 6/6/7, there is no new skill to learn thru skill advancement, so it's ideal to save it.
- > One possibility is to get Lv. 3 Flanma to set up for Flanmoa at Lv. 9; costs 70 SP, and helps to finish off certain encounters in the mines
- > If you advance any skills, do it in the heal menu after Esperanza
- - Kill all encounters, using Flanma to great effect
- - Go down the wooden bridges, turning left at the fork, taking the save, and entering the mines at the bottom
- - Take the first right to get the Warp Stone, then continue up and around to the right to get the Eterna Crystal
- - Heal before warping out if you won't level up before reaching Merveille, as the Hartmann fight will start immediately
- - If you are short on MP, you could consider taking the inn in Cape Town (costs 300G and ~40s)
- > More likely, you want to conserve MP in the mines: at least 16 if CAx2, at least 13 if Overdrive strats
- > Overdrive is slower on Hartmann, but costs less MP; could advance Combo Attack along with Flanma in the same menu in order to reduce the MP cost, thus giving more flexibility to speed up encounters in the mines
- MERVEILLE
- - After Flight Core CS, walk to town and fight Hartmann
- > Depending on MP, either Overdrive+Combo Attack with Eddie, or just spam CA
- > Pad and Melody should both just do normal attacks
- > Heal as necessary
- - After the fight and resultant cutscenes, fly to London; go to mid-altitude before landing, watch the cutscene, then land
- LONDON
- - Go to the shop and buy Warp Stones and lots of HBs
- - Return to Maverick and fly to Tower of Babel, but DON'T raise altitude until you reach the mountain ridge
- TOWER OF BABEL
- - Heal to full before entering
- - You will need a lot of HBs for this entire section--you almost want to compulsively heal to full between fights
- - Kill all encounters
- > Double-target from Evil Eyes can kill Melody from full
- > Flanma does heavy damage to Fairies, Babel Crows, etc.
- - Go up and around to the left, flipping the first switch to proceed, until you reach Evans
- - Get the 2000G after Evans
- - Flip both switches ahead to continue up the stairs
- - Skip the next switch, proceeding left and up the next flight of stairs
- - In the room with the moving platforms:
- > Take platform 1 left, flip the switch
- > Take platform 1 back, walk right, then down
- > Take platform 2 down, walk down, then left
- > Take platform 3 left, walk down, then right
- > Take platform 4 up, and take the stairs
- - Once on 4F, go around to the left (don't check the chest), and take the save
- - Proceed forward, taking the spiral staircase (don't check the chest)
- - Some of the upcoming encounters can be really dangerous; in parties of 3-4 containing Evil Eye, focus first on EE (Flanma and CA), as Mushrooms are comparably weak
- - Worst encounter is probably Poison Jelly+EEx2
- - Some of these feel like instant death, like you are better off just attempting to run
- - Once you reach the top, enter the door, skip the CS, and fight Carmine
- - Carmine: spam attacks until he casts Prominence, then skip the CS
- - Fiona doesn't officially join your party at this point, so you can't use her Warp ability
- - Buy a Warp Stone earlier and use it to warp out, then walk up to Evans for a CS
- - Fly to London
- LONDON
- - Go to Beatrice's house and watch the two cutscenes, then walk out for Evans's CS
- - Fly to the Abu Simbel world treasure (up the river from Cairo), then go back to London
- - Talk to Evans at the Royal Museum, then go back to Beatrice's house for another CS
- - Leave the house and Fiona will join the party, then fly to St. Petersburg
- - Here is where you might want to upgrade the ship*
- > Upgrade Plate 01: 400G
- > Mechanic's Tools
- > Delta Shield doesn't appear worth it because its magic defense is worse
- > Repair for 100G
- ST. PETERSBURG
- - Talk to the man by the fountain (Ivan)
- - Head west across the bridge, then north into the bar, and walk up to Scarlett for a CS
- - Return to Maverick, and fly east to Siberia; be prepared as the Ouroboros fight will start immediately
- - Upgrade Power Boost to Lv. 4
- - Ouroboros
- > Use Power Boost with Eddie and attack with him, Pad, Melody
- > Heal with Fiona
- > Consider skipping equipment if Power Boost does enough on its own
- - Fly east to the Siberian Village
- SIBERIAN VILLAGE
- - Talk to man on the right (Theodor)
- - Probably want to load up on MTs, MWs, and Heal Leafs
- - Leave and fly north to the Siberian base
- - HEAL TO FULL BEFORE APPROACHING (battle rush to start)
- > Gramme Class (75)

- > Make sure you are healed to full before the end of each fight
- > The third fight in particular can be deadly, so stay healed above ~100 for double attack turns
- SIBERIAN BASE
- - Go straight until you reach the elevator and take it up
- - Go right and take the tram
- - Go around and straight up for the Astell CS
- - Get the Cabal Gun to the right (probably skip Drum Machine Gun)
- - Go straight, down the stairs and down and around, get the Ice Brand, and equip both it and Cabal Gun, and upgrade Eddie's Combo Attack to Lv. 5
- - Flip the switch then continue up through the vent; get the Silver Chalice
- - Once through the vent shaft, take the tram to the right
- - Go left then straight up to the elevator
- - Take the save and fight Roswell
