- A player adminhelps that another player, one you know well but have never had to deal with as a moderator, is powergaming. A quick check on them reveals that they, as a doctor, have managed to arm themselves with an energy sword picked up from a dead merc and a hypospray filled with Soporific and polytrinic acid, and they have single handedly taken taken down 3 mercenaries armed with pulse rifles and grenade launchers. During this conflict, they've gotten themselves severely injured, but they are running after the last armed mercenary, hopped-up on hyperzine. What do you do?

- Wew okay. I will question the guy on what he is doing and ask him for any reason as to this powergaming. I will also go around the dead mercs and ask them their take on what happened. I also check for any notes or warnings on the doctor to see if this is a first time thing or if it is ongoing.

- The doctor doesnt really answer you as he chases down the merc, giving him a jab of the sleepy acidmix. He manages to strike the damaged merc once before succumbing to his own wounds. Upon investigating, the other mercs says that the doctor managed to disarmspam a sword from one of the mercs before going ballistic. The combat logs you pull from the doctor confirms this, and when checking his notes, you find a month old warning for powergaming. Go.

- Okay, now that he is down I try asking again, and now that the merc is out of danger from the doctor I ask for his own take on things. Failing a valid response (And it had better be a really good one because this looks cut and dry) I will apply another warning to the doc

- Alrighty, good stuff. Next question: You and another admin is on server. You've noticed this person tends to spawn in weapons and gear that will give them an advantage, aswell as briefly winding their opponent if they're an antag.. What do you do?

- Well, we're on equal footing so I will ask them directly why they are doing this. Failing a good response I will take this to an admin/higher-up since I don't think mods can affect other mods

- Aha... Well, I am not all that creative but there are always things that can be improved, no matter what it is. If I had to give an example, I would probably want to change some of the rules. Particularly those about antags. Currently, they work fine and I can see why they are how they are but I think sometimes, people (myself included) don't know how to get a good antag round into gear. I think there should be a minor adjustment to escalation to allow antags to commit minor acts of terrorism such as detonating a bomb but in a way that doesn't randomly kill people or vent an area which would cause problems for obvious reasons. Like, for example, if somone detonated a fueltank bomb in, say, hydroponics when nobody was in or around there then that would be a good way to get people riled up, sec alerted and bystanders running in terror. It would also make for an explosive entrance ((I'm sorry I couldn't resist)). Obviously that idea is not perfect, I just came up with it now but you get the idea: slightly loosening the grip in order to make a more natural start to antaggery.
