First we'll let you know that this isn't an Article about Diets and we won't tell you how to get rid of annoying kilograms with the help of Apples, Blackberry's and Raspberry.

You want a nice piece of Raspberry Pi(e) too? Apple and Blackberry show us that Fruits aren't just healthy, they're smart too. One of the latest Innovations of the IT Industry is the Raspberry Pi, wich isn't expensive as the "Big Fruits" like Apple or Blackberry.

The Idea behind this Low-Coast (20-30€) PC is to create a cheap and powerfull Computer because the World of IT becomes more and more relevant nowadays. Students etc. get confronted with Powerpoint Presentations and Internet Research every day and some of them want to stay in contact with Friends or Teachers, so this Device provides Equal Opperturnity's for everyone.

There'll be two different Credit-Card sized Devices, Model A with 128mb RAM and Model B wich uses 256mb RAM. The heart of the Pi is a 700 MHz ARM11 CPU, the relevant difference between x86 Systems (the probability is high that you'll have one at home) and ARM Systems is that Operating Systems like Windows won't run, but Linux Distributions and maybe Android will work. The HDD will be replaced by an SD-Card and the Device will have USB, HDMI and Lan.
