  3. What kind of research is the professor doing? It actually sounds really interesting. I've been thinking of an idea for another EN paper but it would involve modeling externalities in the world of Starcraft (the original, of course). As each race functions in a different way (Protoss warping in buildings from Aiur, Terran mechanics, and the creep of the Zerg), they would have different effects on the landscape around them in terms of pollutants. Is this idea even feasible? Perhaps I could extend the model to include how the world would be affected if various key battles had gone the other way (such as Kerrigan going from Terran to Zerg) or even attempt to model individual units in how they contribute to environmental destruction (based on either their crystal/gas cost or specialized attacks such as spider mines). Let me know what you think about this.
