Largo bans e-cigarettes in City facilities

The City of Largo has voted to ban the use of E-cigarettes in City facilities. Though E-cigarettes are less deadly than cigarettes, they still deliver nicotine- one of the most powerful poisons known to man. While E-cigarettes have an assistive role in smoking cessation, there is a small risk due to second hand exposure. Other nicotine delivery products are available for smoking cessation that do not inflict nicotine on others. The City of Largo is wise to ban E-cigarettes in its buildings.
