Marito: What’s our current location?

Tsumugi: 50 kilometers southeast of the Kii Peninsula.

「どうしたんスか、急に?」
Matsuribi: What’s with the sudden question?

「なら、まだ針路を変更できるな」
Marito: Alright, then there’s still time to change our course.

祭陽
「変更って…どこへ?」
Matsuribi: Change our course...? To where?

鞠戸
「呉以外のどこかだ。
浜松から出た後、陸地へ近付いて
敵に見つかりかけたことが何回かあった」
Marito: To anywhere other than Kure. There’s been a lot of times the enemy almost caught us when we approached land after leaving Hamamatsu.

鞠戸
「このまま瀬戸内海へ入ってみろ。
空から敵が来たら、逃げ場がなくなるぞ」
Marito: We should try heading for the Seto Inland Sea. As it is now, if the enemy comes from the sky, then we won’t have any way to retreat.

「副長は艦長に呉への直行を
具申していましたけど」
Kakei: But the Executive Officer has asked the Captain to take a direct route to Kure.

「…私が言いたかったのは、
目的地へさっさと向かうべきだということです」
Mizusaki: ...What I had been trying to say was that we should attempt to reach our destination quickly.

「それについては同意するが…
この状況で呉へ行くのはまずい」
Marito: I agree but... Going to Kure now would just end badly for us.

マグバレッジ
「そのことは、私もわかっています。
本艦はこれより種子島基地へ直行します」
Magbaredge: Yes, I’m aware of that myself. That’s why this ship will proceed directly to Tanegashima Base.

「…!」
Marito: ...!

不見咲
「その理由は、種子島がヘ[ブンズ・フォール]で
地形が変わるほど甚大な被害を受けた地域であり、
民間人も住んでおらず…」
Mizusaki: This is because the terrain in the Tanegashima area was heavily altered due to the destruction caused by [Heaven’s Fall], so there are no civilians that live there.

不見咲
「ヴァース帝国もわざわざ侵略の手を伸ばさないから、
ということでしょうか」
Mizusaki: And it does not appear that the Vers Empire’s invasion has extended to that location, at least as of yet.

Calm: Count me in. I’ve been working hard since morning; it’s about time I finally got some grub.

Nina: Calm... I see you’re in a maintenance uniform.

「人手が足りないから、やれることやらなきゃな。
そっちもどうなんだ、操舵手見習いは」
Calm: Can’t really say no to the job when we’re so short staffed. So how are things going for you, Miss Helmsman Apprentice?

「覚えることが多くて大変よ」
Nina: There’s an awful lot to keep track when at the helm.

Marito: ...

「あ、鞠戸大尉も一緒にどうです?」
Calm: Oh, you wanna join us too, Lieutenant Marito?

Marito: Hm? Uh, sure...

「あの…次の目的地の種子島、あそこは…」
Nina: Oh right... I heard our next stop is Tanegashima. That place was...

「授業で習っただろう。
15年前、ヘブンズ・フォールで
崩壊した月の破片が一番最初に落下した所だ」
Marito: You should have remembered it from class. That was where the first pieces of the shattered moon fell to Earth, during Heaven’s Fall 15 years ago.

「………」
Seylum: ...

鞠戸
「だが、月より先に落ちてきた物があった。
火星の奴らだ」
Marito: But there was something else that fell there first. The Martians.

カーム
「えっ?」
Calm: Huh?

網戸
「その火星の化け物みたいな[カタフラクト]相手に
俺達は時代遅れの戦車で挑み…全滅した」
Marito: The Martian [Kataphrakt] that came down was like a monster. We tried to take it on with our old-fashioned tanks...and got wiped out.

網戸
「その直後にハイパーゲートが暴走、
時空震でヘブンズ・フォールが起きて、
火星の奴らは戦場ごと…」
Marito: It was right after that that the [Hypergate] went out of control, and the resulting space-time quake set off Heaven’s Fall. Those Martian bastards leveled the whole battlefield...

網戸
「物的証拠は何もない。
生き残った俺が書いた種子島レポートは、
恐怖で書き立てた妄想ということになった」
Marito: There’s no evidence of course. And so the Tanegashima Report I wrote as the sole survivor was chalked up as nothing more than the ramblings of fear-driven soldier.

(この方は、あの場におられた…)
Seylum: (So this person was there himself...)

カーム
「でも…事実でした。
火星のカタフラクトは地球の技術を
遙かに超えています」
Calm: But...it was true, wasn’t it? I mean, it’s pretty obvious Martian Kataphrakts are way out of Earth’s league when it comes to technology.

「どっちだろうと、結果は同じだ。
何せ地球にはアルドノアドライブがないからな」
Marito: Doesn’t really matter now. Even if they believed me, the end result is the same. Earth has no Aldnoah Drives, so we can never catch up to them.

カーム
「だけど、伊奈帆や万丈さん達が戻って来れば…」
Calm: But still, if Inaho, Banjo, and the others come back...

網戸
「当てには出来ん。
あの連中が生きているかどうかも
わからないんだからな」
Marito: We can’t place our bets on them. We don’t even know if they’re still alive or not.

ビューティ
「あら、万丈達は絶対に無事よ。
そして、必ず帰って来るわ」
Beauty: Oh, there’s no doubt Banjo is safe. He and the others will most certainly come back.

「希望を持つのは構わんが…」
Marito: If you want to get your hopes up, that’s your business, but...

「そう簡単に死ぬような男じゃないわ。
あなたの教え子もね」
Reika: He’s not the kind of man to die so easily. And neither is your student for that matter.

Trillram: Lord Saazbaum, Nilokeras’s repairs have at last been completed.

「ならば、裏切り者の捕縛を口実にして出撃せよ。
まずは、アセイラム姫が乗っていると
思われる艦を沈めるのだ」
Saazbaum: Then use apprehending the traitor as your pretense for launching. And destroy the ship you believe Princess Asseylum to be aboard first thing.

Trillram: As you wish, sir.

「なお、破嵐万丈達はあの艦の航跡を
辿っていると思われる。遅かれ早かれ
彼奴らは合流するだろう」
Saazbaum: It is believed that Banjo Haran’s group have been following the ship’s trail. Given time, they will eventually rendezvous.

「それに、
フェミーアン卿の領地内まで踏み込まれたら、
こちらは迂闊に手が出せぬ」
Saazbaum: Furthermore, we will be unable to take any rash actions once they have entered Countess Femieanne’s territory.

ザーツバルム
「よいな、事態は一刻を争う。
そして、これが貴公に与えられた最後の機会…
必ず成し遂げよ」
Saazbaum: The situation is escalating quickly. That means that this is your last chance... And so you WILL succeed.

Trillram: Y...Yes, my lord!

Tsumugi: We’ll be in Tanegashima’s waters within the hour, Captain.

種子島基地の施設が使えればいいのですが」
Magbaredge: Just one more step... We’ll be in good shape if we can make use of Tanegashima Base’s facilities.

(Tsumugi detects something.)

「飛行物体群が接近中!
2時方向より真っ直ぐ!」
Tsumugi: Numerous flying objects are approaching! They’re coming from 2 o’clock!

マグバレッジ
「偵察ではなく、狙いは本艦ですか…!」
Magbaredge: That’s not just a recon force; they’re here for our ship...!

ニーナ
「そんな…!」
Nina: No way...!

マグバレッジ
「迎撃します!対空戦闘用意!」
Magbaredge: Intercept! Prepare for anti-aircraft combat!

(Scene starts on a map screen of some islands. Aiais are on the map, attacking the Wadatsumi.)

Magbaredge: Damage report!

「第18ブロックに被弾!中破です!」
Mizusaki: Direct hit to the 18th block! It’s partially destroyed!

マグバレッジ
(網戸大尉がアレイオンを動かせれば…!)
Magbaredge: (If Lieutenant Marito could just move his Areion...!)

網戸
(くそっ…何でだ…!
こんな時くらい、言うこと聞けよ…俺の身体…!
戦わなきゃ、死んじまうだろうが…!)
Marito: (Dammit...! What’s wrong with me...!? Why won’t my body listen to me at a time like this...!? If I don’t fight, we’re all dead...!)

(Tsumugi detects something.)

「前方の小島に高熱源体反応!数は1!」
Tsumugi: There’s a high energy reading from the island in front of us! 1 unit!

Magbaredge: !

(Duo appears.)

「さすがに今回は遠巻きに
見てるってわけにはいかねえな」
Duo: Can’t just watch from a distance this time, huh.

「火星のカタフラクト…!?」
Magbaredge: A Martian Kataphrakt...!?

「ちっ、いつの間にあんな所へ!」
Marito: Tch, what the hell is that doing here!?

ニーナ
(色と形は違うけど、
ウイングゼロに雰囲気が似てる…
もしかして、あれもガンダムって機体じゃ…)
Nina: (It’s color and design are different, but it feels a lot like Wing Zero... Does that mean this is a Gundam too...?)

「所属不明機より通信が入っています!」
Matsuribi: Incoming transmission from the unidentified machine!

マグバレッジ
「繋いで下さい」
Magbaredge: Connect us, please.

デュオ
「俺の名前はデュオ。
そっちにウイングガンダムゼロ、
そしてヒイロ・ユイを知ってる奴はいるか?」
Duo: My name’s Duo. Any of you guys know about Wing Gundam Zero and a guy named Heero Yuy?

ニーナ
「は、はい!」
Nina: Y-Yes, I do!

デュオ
「あいつから俺の話を聞いてないか?」
Duo: He ever mention me?

ニーナ
「い、いえ…」
Nina: N-No...

デュオ
「何だよ、俺のことを気にしてねえのかよ。
まあ、こっちは転移した後、
すぐに湖へ落ちたからな」
Duo: The hell, Heero? Does that guy not give a damn about me? I mean I did end up falling into a lake the second we got warped here, but...

「ともかく、そっちを援護してやるぜ!」
Duo: Anyway, I’m gonna back you guys up!

「あ、ありがとう…」
Nina: Th-Thank you...

「知り合いの知り合いというわけですか?」
Magbaredge: So this man is a friend of a friend of yours?

ニーナ
「そうみたいです」
Nina: Something like that.

Magbaredge: (If nothing else, we might be able to make it through this now...)

(Battle 1 begins.)

(Battle 1 ends when all enemies are defeated.)

Duo: Alright, now then...

「後続…いや、本命が来やがったか!」
Duo: Here comes the backup... Or actually, I guess I should say here comes the head honcho!

(Trillram appears with more Aiais.)

トリルラン
「見つけたぞ…!」
Trillram: I’ve found you...!

鞠戸
「火星のカタフラクトか!」
Marito: Now THAT’S a Martian Kataphrakt!

カーム
「くそっ、あのダンゴ虫が来るなんてよ!!」
Calm: Dammit, what the hell is that dung beetle doing here!?

トッポ
「万丈兄ちゃんもヒイロもいないのに、
どうやってあいつと戦うんだよ!?」
Toppo: How are we supposed to fight it without Banjo or Heero!?

レイカ
「こういう時に颯爽と現れるのが、
万丈なんだけどね…!」
Reika: This is normally when Banjo would make his grand appearance, but...!

(火星のカタフラクトとやり合うことになるとはな。

Duo: (Didn’t think I’d be fighting a Martian Kataphrakt. No way I can call Slaine over here.)

トリルラン
「あの忌まわしき翼付きに似た機体…
見たところ、ビームを撃つ兵器は備えていないようだ」
Trillram: That one looks quite like that accursed winged machine... But from what I can see, it doesn’t appear to be equipped with weaponry capable of firing beams.

トリルラン
「察するに、あの大仰な鎌で戦う近接タイプ…
ならば、このニロケラスの敵ではない」
Trillram: I assume that this type is meant to fight nearby foes with that oversized scythe... In which case, it’s no match for my Nilokeras.

セラム
「私があの火星騎士と話をします…!」
Seylum: I must speak to that Martian Knight...!

エデルリッゾ
「いけません!
あの者は、姫様の素性を知っても
攻撃を止めなかったのですよ!」
Eddelrittuo: You mustn’t! That’s the same person that didn’t stop attacking even after finding out you were the Princess!

セラム
「それはわかっていますが…」
Seylum: I know that, but even still...

(Duo receives a transmission.)

デュオ
(ん?この反応は…)
Duo: (Hm? This is from...)

トリルラン
「…聞こえるか、黒い翼の機体」
Trillram: ...Can you hear me, black winged machine?

デュオ
「!」
Duo: !

トリルラン
「その機体を差し出せば、貴様だけは助けてやる」
Trillram: Relinquish your machine and I will spare you your life.

デュオ
「そういう台詞を吐く奴は、
大抵信用できねえんだがな」
Duo: You know, guys that spout lines like that can’t normally be trusted.

トリルラン
「ふん…あの白い翼の機体がいなければ、
貴様など敵ではないわ!」
Trillram: Hmph... Without the white winged machine here, you don’t even qualify as an opponent!

デュオ
「その言葉、もう一度言ってみろ。
あいつの前でな!」
Duo: Funny you should say that. Especially when it’s right in front of you!

(Heero appears.)

トリルラン
「や、奴め、もう追い付いたのか!?」
Trillram: Th-that bastard already caught up!?

ヒイロ
「間に合ったな」
Heero: I made it in time.

デュオ
「おいおい、ようやく再会できたってのに
それだけかよ?他に言うことがあるだろ?」
Duo: Dude, we finally meet back up again and that’s all you have to say? Don’t you have anything else to add?

Heero: No.

「あのなあ…」
Duo: Come on, man...

「ウイングガンダムゼロが来てくれたと
いうことは…!」
Nina: If Wing Gundam Zero is here, then that means...!

Marito: Warrant Officer Kaizuka and the others are back!?

Tsumugi: Captain, we’ve detected large airborne objects approaching! Two readings!

Bright: I am Bright Noa, captain of this ship, the Ra Cailum. Warrant Officer Yuki Kaizuka as well as six others have been accompanying us.

「マグバレッジ大佐、
そちらの大方の事情は聞いている。
これより貴艦を援護する」
Bright: Captain Magbaredge, we’ve been informed of your overall situation. We will now proceed to provide support for your ship.

マグバレッジ
「…了解しました。助かります」
Magbaredge: ...Understood. You have my gratitude.

Reika: Look, Toppo. It’s just like I said.

Marito: Yeah. But I can’t believe you guys are actually alive...

…ブライト艦長、あの火星カタフラクトの
攻略方法はわかっています」
Inaho: We’ll explain the details later. ...Captain Bright, I know a way we can defeat that Martian Kataphrakt.

「高出力のエネルギー兵器を持った機体で
集中攻撃し、バリアを破ります」
Inaho: We can destroy its barrier with a concentrated attack from all of our machines with high output energy weapons.

「念には念をだ。
ブライト艦長、先に奴の目を潰す」
Heero: Better safe than sorry. We’re going to blind it first, Captain Bright.

ブライト
「任せる」
Bright: I leave that to you then.

ヒイロ
「デュオ、奴は上空のカメラから視界を確保している。
デスサイズヘルのハイパージャマーで
それを妨害しろ」
Heero: Duo, that enemy has cameras in the sky providing him with an overhead view. Activate Deathscythe’s Hyper Jammer and disable them.

「はいはい、相変わらず人使いが荒いこって」
Duo: Yeah, yeah. Sheesh, you’re just as much of a slave driver as ever.

(Ryoma, Koji, Tetsuya, Hyoma, Duke, and Steel Jeeg appear.)

Ryoma: Alright, you Martian prick. We’re gonna show you just how much power our machines are packing!

Duo: Right then, activating the Hyper Jammer!

(Deathscythe’s Hyper Jammer activates.)

Trillram: W-What!? I can’t see anything!

Inaho: The barrier’s output is no longer stable... Our conventional weapons should be capable of harming it now.

Trillram: Y-Y-You GODDAMN RAAAATS!!

「各機、攻撃を開始せよ!」
Bright: All units, commence the attack!

(Battle 2 begins.)

(Battle 2 ends when Trillram is defeated.)

Trillram: I-Impossible! This is ABSUUURD!!

(Inaho moves next to Trillram.)

Inaho: ...This is for my friend.

(Inaho attacks Trillram. Trillram’s Nilokeras explodes.)

「やったのか…!?」
Marito: Did he do it...!?

Inaho: ([Okojo]...)

「現戦域内の敵機反応、全て消失!」
Torres: All enemy unit readings in the combat zone have disappeared!

ブライト
「よし…何機かを周辺の警戒に当たらせろ」
Bright: Very good. ...Put some of our units on watch to guard the perimeter.

ミサト
「了解です」
Misato: Roger.

ブライト
「トーレス、マグバレッジ大佐と話をする。
わだつみに繋いでくれ」
Bright: Torres, I’d like to speak to Captain Magbaredge. Please connect us to the Wadatsumi.

トーレス
「わかりました」
Torres: Understood.

Magbaredge: You said...parallel worlds?

ブライト
「ああ。我々にはそれらをある程度自由に
行き来させてくれる協力者がいる」
Bright: Correct. And we have a cooperator who allows us to travel freely between them, to some extent.

「その者の依頼もあり、様々な並行世界の
戦乱を鎮めるのが現時点での目的だ」
Bright: And it is her wish that we quell the conflicts occurring in these parallel worlds.

Bright: I’m sure this must sound preposterous to you...

Yagarai: Is this about the Tanegashima Report?

Duo: Well thankfully you guys were kind of hard to miss, so following you was pretty easy.

Heaven's Fall

A catastrophe where the Hypergate went out of control when the previous war between Earth and Mars broke out, resulting in the destruction of the moon.
Fragments of the moon fell to several locations on the Earth, resulting gravitational waves that caused the tectonic shifts, earthquakes, and tsunamis that brought about untold damage.
The cataclysmic disasters caused the world map to change and reduced half of the Earth's population.

Manned humanoid weapons used by both the Earth and Mars's Vers Empire.
They were first developed by the Vers Empire, when reforming planetary work robots into weapons.
There is a great difference in performance between Earth's and Mars's Kataphraktos, due to Martian Kataphraktos being equipped with Aldnoah Drives, which enables just 1 machine to be powerful enough to sway the flow of battle.
