  1. Well I met this “Lady Miyabi” woman, and frankly it’s not what I expected. I’m writing this the day after the meeting. When we arrived at the mansion I didn’t wait for the driver to let me out, I felt my anger rekindle itself, for all intents and purpose looking at this house I knew freedom was over for me. Flanked by two more of those bird dog mamono was a woman whom was quickly identified as the Miyabi woman I was effectively property of. Her black hair was done up in a bun behind her head, actually looking at her head I had to do a double take. She had small rounded ears atop her head, my new ‘owner’ is a Mamono. I’ve heard horror stories of rich mamono buying men, I thought slavery was abolished? A rather large bushy tail poked out from behind her, the coloration the same charcoal black as the hair on her head. Our first exchange was rather unpleasant, usually I’m mindful of manners but with anger being refueled at seeing her all formalities were thrown out the window.
  2.
  3. “Ah you must be Anonnon,” Her greeting was rather warm and under different circumstances I would have felt myself softened by it.
  4.
  5. “Just tell me where to go and I’ll work myself to death, a bit better than being in my situation now,” Not one of my best retorts but at the time it felt better than saying nothing.
  6.
  7. Miyabi just laughed at my words, right so I figure. “There is no need for theatrics Anon, I’m sure you’re probably hungry and a bit tired.” She said, “Matilda has a poor sense of direction, but she’s the only one who can drive.”
  8.
  9. The driver, Matilda seemed to hide her face. I think she doesn’t like people knowing about her problem. To say I reluctantly followed Miyabi inside would be a lie, I couldn't very much stand outside all day. The main foyer was rather large, with stairs on either side of the far wall leading to a second floor landing. A door wedged between the two staircases lead somewhere, maybe other parts of the house or to a cellar while two halls branched off the side.
  10.
  11. “Before we eat, allow me to show you where you’ll be staying.” Miyabi said to me as she waved her maids away.
  12.
  13. At first I expect some sort of workers quarters like my friend Greg lived in, rather small and cramped bare minimum, but Miyabi lead me up the stairs and down the western wing. In my rage filled mind I thought the woman was toying with me, though after passing several doors we stopped.
  14.
  15. “This is my chambers, you’ll actually be the room next to mine for now.” she said. Though I could see a smile on her face, which infuriated me. “Feel free to unload your belongings in there and when you’re ready I’ll have one of my maids bring you down for supper.”
  16.
  17.
  18. Again I bit my tongue, still rather furious but at the same time confused. Upon seeing my room I was secretly awed, it was bigger than mine back home. I can attest that the bed is also nice and comfortable, though much bigger than even the one my Mom and Pa sleep on. Like the hall outside the floors are carpeted, back home we had maybe a rug or two but that was it. Being inside this room feels like being in a church the walls are so high, not to mention the windows are just as big, there are two that even open to a balcony, that seems to be shared with Miyabi’s. There’s even electricity out here, talk about fancy.
  19.
  20. I had simmered a bit before dinner rolled around, from Miyabi’s instructions I figured I would be taken somewhere the help would eat, like a back room. Instead I was lead to a rather large and ornate dining room. I noticed walking in that there were 2 plates set at one end of the table arranged so the two were opposite of one another. To my surprise I was told to sit in one seat and that Lady Miyabi would be joining me shortly. Miyabi showed up moments later, wearing some sort of evening wear.
  21.
  22. “I hope you’re hungry anon,” Miyabi spoke to me as the maid seated her. “I’ve asked them to make us a nice dinner.” Her tone cheery, though as I sat across from her I saw that Miyabi was much older than I. Also her eyes were a nice hazel color, which was pleasing to look at I admit.
  23.
  24. I refrained from talking much, which seemed to to sour Miyabi’s mood.
  25.
  26. “Anon, is something the matter?” She asked, her tail seemed to flick back and forth.
  27.
  28. “Would rather just have whatever work you want me to do out of the way,” I lied. I couldn't think of anything to say then so I had lied.
  29.
  30. “Don’t be silly Anon, you’re special to me, tomorrow I’ll be putting you to work.” Her tone was rather playful but I wasn’t so sure, it felt wrong at the time.
  31.
  32. Our dinner was uneventful, most of the conversation was just Miyabi asking about various facets of my life. Outside that I didn’t talk much, only answered what I was asked. When Dinner was concluded I asked Lady Miyabi to be excused so I may return to my room, which was granted.
  33.
  34. It’s now a quarter till 11 and I was told today I’d be put to work. I sit here writing and filled with dread, I have no idea what this woman has in store for me, frankly I’m expecting a horrible outcome due to the stories I’ve heard with mamono who used to ‘buy men’ do to them.
  35.
  36. Maid is knocking on my bedroom’s door telling me Lady Miyabi is expecting me in the foyer. I just hope this isn’t my last journal entry, and as usual I’ll hide this as best I can.
