ABOUT

The last and only clear image he remembers is standing at the edge of a bridge. He doesn’t know if he actually jumped or not, but he has a feeling that he did. When he woke up again, he had already become Gaap.

Since he associates his life as a human with struggle and rejection, he has no regrets for what he’s become. As Gaap, he has been designed and reformatted to the requests of Azazel by Dantalion. Serving Azazel as a familiar allows him to feel important, praised and loved, which were all things he was desperately missing in his human life.

A unique side-effect of his becoming a demon familiar, Gaap has very little recollection of his past life aside from the emotions he felt. The details of any people or particular environments are gone. This makes it very easy for him to accept his new form, as he doesn’t have anything else to compare it to. Once standing at 176 cm with fair features, Gaap is considerably smaller and much brighter. Though he comfortably uses male pronouns, Gaap doesn’t have any sort of attachment to gender. He presents as he likes in whatever way suits him at the moment. He loves dressing up, often wearing maid or butler costumes while he works.

Gaap is proficient at cooking, cleaning and sewing. He has also loves applying make-up and styling hair, as he does these things for Azazel most mornings. Serving as something of a caretaker and personal assistant to them, Gaap truly loves Azazel and is happy looking after them, even if he gets worried and fussy sometimes.

His accommodations in Azazel’s home are quite nice, having been allowed to decorate as he pleases. In fact, he never really wants for anything. He has a wide array of clothing and costumes to wear and a comfortable bed to sleep in. Azazel also gives him an allowance every week so he can shop for himself while he’s out on errands. Gaap is a very social creature, so going out on shopping trips or deliveries is one of his favorite chores.

Truly, Gaap is very happy with his fun and gentle life as a demon familiar. He receives plenty of attention from his master, who dotes on him intensely and he even receives affections from other demons and familiars he calls his friends.

RELATIONSHIPS

AZAZEL
Gaap truly loves Azazel and they have a very affectionate relationship. He is often rewarded by them with head pats, hair ruffles and praise. He’s happy to serve Azazel, though his worries and concern sometimes cause him to be fussy, it’s only because he cares for his master so much.

BELETH
While he is always excited to have company, Gaap’s favorite guest is Beleth. Not only is he a good friend to Azazel, but he’s very kind to Gaap, and rewards him with gratitude and affection. He can’t help but linger sometimes in eager expectation, but Beleth never seems to judge him for it.

DANTALION
Though Gaap doesn’t know all that much about Dantalion, he recognizes them as his creator and reveres him accordingly. Since he values his second chance at life so much, Gaap can’t help but hold affection for them. He’s more than a little entranced by their beauty and subconsciously mimics their gender fluidity.
