One day Peter and Anthony and Matthew moved out of Italy and landed in Los Santos. Matthew was still 16 years old. Peter and Anthony and Matthew got themselves an apartment to live in East Los Santos. Matthew suddenly went to high-school due to having nothing to do because Peter and Anthony were trying to get to know the new neighbourhood meantime. In school, Matthew met a lot of new people. He used to hang around with a friend of his named Michael Bontade. Michael introduced Matthew into the criminal life, and they used to break into cars to snatch any value things in the car. In 200X Michael Bontade got arrested for Burglary, and when Matthew got informed about it, he wasn't too happy. While Michael was locked up, Matthew started breaking into cars with himself due to him not trusting anyone else. In July 28th Matthew got caught breaking into a car and got arrested and served 22 months in prison. Upon his release, he reunited with Peter Maranzano in Los Santos, and was introduced to a real bigwig; Lorenzo Coppola. Maranzano was just a small time wise guy compared to Coppola. Rumors state he was the one behind the murder of Sonny Pugliesi, Coppola beating him in a power struggle. The old Liccardi collapsed momentarily, and Coppola was the head of a new generation of Liccardi, brushing off unloyal members off his shoulder, and looking to a new future. Cardone stuck with him, met some other big cats, and he was seen as a good earner by the small circle. Cardone became a made man at the age of twenty seven, and was trusted by Coppola to lead a small circle of wanna be wiseguys under Cardones command. [/quote]
