  1. MT15 - Brendan Keogh's Putting Challenge
  2.
  3. NOTE: Paid game part of itch.io's giant Bundle for Racial Justice and Equality. If you didn't buy this bundle, ask for a code.
  4.
  5. This is a Pico-8 game and can either be played in your browser using the .html file or locally through the Pico-8 software which can also be downloaded from the same bundle. If you don't already have this set up, browser is recommended.
  6.
  7. Download the Championship version of the game and open the Course 1 file. Upon finishing Course 1, you will be required to quickly load up Course 2 in the same way mid-race.
  8.
  9. Finish both Courses. Start on the title screen of Course 1, done when your final results screen is shown after finishing Course 2.
  10.
  11. Finish all holes. You must walk to/retrieve your ball after every shot, including holed shots. Holes can technically be done in any order, though once you start a hole, you need to finish that hole. Map signs are scattered around the course and will be very helpful if you get lost. If you run out of balls, you can get more from the pro shop at the beginning of the course. Once all holes have been completed, walk back to the beginning of the game. The final results screen will be activated when you attempt to walk offscreen while on the pathway. Repeat for Course 2. Lastly and most importantly, USE YOUR GOLF CART.

  17. X: Cancel button, charge and shoot
  18.
  19.
  20. If you aren't getting any audio in Chrome (sound is entirely optional in this game):
  21. Note: Earlier this year, Google changed Chrome’s default autoplay settings in a way that has destroyed a whole bunch of web art and browser games. By default, when running the HTML version of a Pico-8 game in Chrome, you will get no audio. To fix this, go to chrome://flags/#autoplay-policy and change the setting to “No user gesture required”. Alternatively, just use a different internet browser.
