  1. 1)
  2. Da Vinci mumbles in his workshop about “something” that is without doubt “him”… but not actually “him.” Kind of like a crude copy with less finesse in the construction but a scary amount of will. Worried about this phenomenon result in a new Singularity (and getting scolded by Roman), he rings an alarm.
  3.
  4. Random trivia: Da Vinci calls him Romani, which is his real name that nobody ever uses. Roman in turn calls him Leonardo when serious, or “Da Vinci-chan” mostly when he’s being sarcastic.
  5.
  6. Mashu and you are in your room with Emiya, who’s showing you how he projects his weapons.
  7.
  8. >Emiya: [Smiling] “It is a temporary copy that can even can match up with the original. That said, no matter how realistic it may be, its power will be somewhat inferior. That might be called the lightness of an illusion that can’t withstand reality. My projection magic cannot bring the original back into existence, only create something like its reflection on a water surface. Compared with the real ones, they’re just a sham.”
  9. >Protagonist: “There’s a difference between the fake and the original?”
  10. >Emiya: “That’s a lengthy talk so I’ll skip it. But in summary, the fake cannot match to the original in terms of parameters. That said, when it comes to their performance, the one who will decide on their value won’t be the items themselves, but the observers. It’s not something that might sit well with the original’s creator, but humans are a species that keeps pushing on towards the future, so the concept of improving on past achievements is indispensable. There is value in the originals created from zero, but there is also value in the successive deviations based on it. My projections are literal copies, but society develops by imitating and improving the original works.”
  11. >Mashu: “I see, so it has that implication.”
  12. >Emiya: “Anyway, back to cleaning. Is that room clean Master?”
  13. >Protagonist: “It gets messy sometimes.”
  14. >Emiya: “Ahhh, during Halloween and Christmas, the room reflected the owners’ heart. In short, you’re the type that gets in high spirits when an Event rolls about.”
  15.
  16. The alarm rings and Leonardo tells you over the PA system to come to the workshop and bring (armed) Servants with you. Since Emiya is with you, he tags along at once, although you forget to bring anybody else since you’re in a hurry. Da Vinci is pissed that Roman came since the announcement specified he’d be in the way,
  17.
  18. >Roman: “Who’d listen to that!? What did you do this time? Even a chicken like me will get angry once in a while you know.”
  19. >Da Vinci: “You misunderstand. This time it’s not a personal problem, but one that involves all Chaldea!”
  20. >Protagonist: “’This time’?”
  21. >Da Vinci: “How rude. This time ‘too’. I have been the science department advisor all this time, haven’t I? We’re short on time, so I’ll tell you: I have struggled against the truth of this world, until finally this world’s deceit has been made clear to me!”
  22. >Roman: “Hello, medical team? Yes, prepare a bed for one mentally disturbed pervert please.”
  23. >Da Vinci: “If you’re not going to listen then leave!”
  24.
  25. Anyhow, Da Vinci shows you the Mona Lisa.
  26.
  27. >Protagonist: “That’s the infamous Mona Lisa!”
  28. >Da Vinci: “Hahaha, I won’t deny that. After all, countless blood and money has been spilt over this painting.”
  29. >Mashu: “Why the triumphant look?”
  30.
  31. However, it’s just an imitation made into a Conceptual Dress (The actual name for Craft Essences.) Emiya says the brush strokes seem to be filled with anger and enough magic energy befitting of 1000 Mana Prisms.
  32.
  33. >Da Vinci: “The way you said that is full of thorns, but it’s true! It is not a copy, but an imitation carefully made from scratch.”
  34.
  35. Emiya says that it’s a strange copy made with less skill, but supplemented with more zeal and enthusiasm.
  36.
  37. Anyway, Da Vinci says he’s been selling her Mona Lisas, but suddenly clientele stopped because apparently someone else has been selling these fakes. Roman shrugs and says that’s fine, telling her to close that shoddy unpopular shop anyway, leave the costumers to the faker and just focus on her duties.
  38.
  39. >Da Vinci: “I’m really gonna kill you, Romani.”
  40. >Roman: “Alright, alright, sorry!”
  41.
  42. Da Vinci says that the counterfeiter is for sure an evil person, but Emiya wonders to himself if it’s true, thinking that the zeal he feels from the paining is pure. Da Vinci decides to go on an expedition to find the faker, and after some protesting from Roman about how Chaldea would be crippled if she were to die and that going out for something so trifling is stupid, you convince him to let you investigate.
  43. Emiya tries to sneak off by saying he’s got to go cook some meat stew, but Da Vinci ropes him in before he can flee. He grumbles some more about not wanting to get involved in this sort of event, and finally gives up after Mashu appeals to his Shirou-ness side by arguing they need as many Servants as possible to keep you safe.
  44.
  45. You Ley Shift somewhere by following the faker’s energy trail. You decide to walk around a nearby town and show the fake painting to people to see if they know anything… and immediately run into Caesar and Paracelsus. After a bit of shocked silence, Da Vinci howls at you to capture them. Caesar and Dr. P complain about being attacked without reason, but you go at them regardless.
  46.
  47. After the fight:
  48. >Caesar: “I plead innocent!”
  49.
  50. Caesar assures you that he’d never feel comfortable peddling imitations, and Da Vinci recognizes he’s the kind of guy who’d prioritize his customers’ trust above all if her were a merchant. Paracelsus on the other hand says that eroding the importance of the world’s most famous painting with shams would be unthinkable for him as a magician, but wonders what kind of stuff he could create if he were to sacrifice the original, to Da Vinci’s obvious displeasure.
  51.
  52. Turns out Caesar had heard of the faker and had decided to investigate on his own, and brought P along for support. Everyone apologizes and you ask them if they know anything. Caesar says he’s sure he’s in that town, but also that his workshop had Servants under its command.
  53.
  54. >Da Vinci: “Servants!? …I see, I understand. But who could it be? Michelangelo? Rafael? Or maybe Donatello?”
  55.
  56. You part ways, and head off for the faker’s workshop.
  57.
  58. 2)
  59. You break into the faker’s workshop, which looks identical to Da Vinci’s, and find fakes of not just Mona Lisa, but also the Annunciation, the Vitruvian Man, The Last Supper, and finally a collection of Da Vinci’s manuscripts, both real and fake.
  60.
  61. If you’re wondering what these manuscripts are, look up Codex Arundel, Codex Atlanticus and Codex Leicester.
  62.
  63. Da Vinci tells you to collect everything and bring it all back with you.
  64.
  65. >Mashu: “Taking this huge amount of stuff with us would be…”
  66. >Protagonist: “What a pain…”
  67. >Da Vinci: “If you bring it to the shop, you could exchange it for items, you know.”
  68. >Protagonist: “We’ll collect them all right now!”
  69. >Mashu: “Let’s pack it all up quickly!”
  70. >Emiya: “That was a quick change of tune, you two…”
  71.
  72. Suddenly, you’re attacked by enemies.
  73.
  74. Roman warns you of more enemy Servants, and then does a double take as he realizes that’s not quite it. He describes the current enemies as sort of patchwork imitations. Whereas Shadow Servants are incomplete literal imitations or real servants, these enemies are sorta-complete “somethings” that resemble Servants a lot, but aren’t quite exact.
  75.
  76. The fake Alexander shows up and introduces himself, happily acknowledging he’s a fake and asking you to go easy on him. Then Da Vinci says she’d like to do a nude portrait of him.
  77.
  78. Emiya seems to understand something about Alex’s body (as in, the spirit container), but declines to say more. Alex says he was created by “that girl” to be a “superb younger brother who lives together with his beloved older sister”
  79.
  80. >Mashu: “…”
  81. >Da Vinci: “…”
  82. >Roman: “What.”
  83. >Alex: “Ufufufu, really romantic don’t you think? Truth be told I’d like to decline this setting. It’s such a girlish desire. Anyway, Onii-san, time for war♥”
  84.
  85. Cue fight.
  86.
  87. After the battle, Alex wonders if being defeated is the sad fate of a fake, and Emiya corrects him saying that they fought as Servants and he lost, nothing more. Meanwhile…
  88.
  89. >Da Vinci: [To himself] “Haaa… I’m… I’m satisfied… the well-trained upper arms of a boy on his way to adulthood… so nice…”
  90. >Da Vinci: “Da Vinci-chan’s really hopeless…”
  91.
  92. Emiya tells Alex that it’s fine to think of his creation, but not waste time comparing himself to the real ones. In thanks for his kindness, Alex reveals that there’s fake workshops like these all over the place, though he admits that he has no idea what “that girl’s” goals are. Emiya thanks him and asks him if he’d like to be put out of his misery since he’s about to die, and Alex tells him he’d rather he kept his pity since he’s past expiration date anyway, and quickly disintegrates.
  93.
  94. Da Vinci keeps mumbling and daydreaming about pretty boys and how wonderful they are, saying how the surface look is what’s important and so on, so you turn to Emiya to lead you since Leonardo is kinda useless right now.
  95.
  96. 3)
  97. You are walking in the snow towards another workshop.
  98.
  99. >Da Vinci: “The next one should be here… isn’t it cold?”
  100. >Emiya: “It’s the North Pole after all. Are you alright, Master?”
  101. >Protagonist: “I’ve got experience as a reindeer.”
  102. >Emiya: “Ah, I see, a reind-A reindeer? Reindeer… Santa… a storm… DEATHLIVE… help DEATHLIVE OKEANOS… Guh, my head!”
  103.
  104. Anyhow, some enemies attack. You beat the Homunculi, which Roman identifies as actually being “something that only looks like homunculi” and this gives Da Vinci a clue that you’re going the right way.
  105.
  106. You proceed to a cave where you meet Fake Hector.
  107.
  108. >Mashu: “Hector-san, you too?”
  109. >Hector: “You know, Servants are fakes to begin with, so how about just letting me go?”
  110. >Emiya: “No can do. If the fakes were to start overflowing, reality would be compromised.”
  111. >Hector: “The Ally of Justice is stubborn, huh. What about you, Master? You’re a bit more flexible, right?”
  112. >Protagonist: “Tell us what your goal is.”
  113. >Hector: “My goal…? Well, if you make me say it… it’d be stuff like head patting.”
  114. >Da Vinci: “Eh? What are you saying? Explain yourself!”
  115. >Hector: “I’m in charge of pampering. Fake Heroic Spirit Hector, Ojiisan Attribute. ‘Slightly-frank easy-going uncle returned from an overseas trip who may or may not be blood-related’.”
  116.
  117. He’s also under the command of this so-called “problem child”, though he thinks she’s still cute in some ways, and then you fight.
  118.
  119. >Hector: “Haaa… I lost. I guess this is as far as a fake can go.”
  120. >Da Vinci: “You’re wrong, hector. You didn’t lose because you’re a fake. You lost because you’re weak.”
  121. >Hector: “Woah, that’s harsh.”
  122.
  123. He then says goodbye and disappears.
  124.
  125. As Da Vinci deduces, the creator is trying to make these fakes surpass the real ones through supplementing sheer force of will where the skill is lacking. Then licks one of the paintings and guesses by the taste that the next workshop should be by the sea.
  126.
  127.
  128. 4)
  129. You reach the sea, following the taste of the calcium carbonate used to make one of the colours, which is made from seashells. There you encounter a depressed Siegfried.
  130.
  131. >Mashu: “That delicately apologetic stance! It must be Siegfried-san!”
  132. >Emiya: “Wait, Mashu, it’s a fake! Don’t approach him so carelessly!”
  133. >Mashu: “But it’s Siegfried, the one famed as the most humble, courteous and modest of all summoned Sabers! Even if he’s a fake, that shouldn’t change-!”
  134. >Siegfried: “Yes. ‘Having to hurt would make me sorry‘-“
  135. >[DRAMATIC CLOSEUP!]
  136. >Siegfried: “-AND SO ON IS STUFF I’VE NO INTENTION OF SAYING!”
  137. >Protagonist: “Wawawawawawawawawaw-“
  138. >Fou: “Foooooooooooooooooou!”
  139. >Da Vinci: “They are shaking all over!”
  140.
  141. Everyone freaks out and Emiya asks him what’s up. The fake Siegfried’s got the original’s modesty, but pride to match it, so he doesn’t feel like saying sorry if he’s not really sorry.
  142.
  143. >Siegfried: “I am the strongest dragon slayer who dances on the beach under the crescent moon. I have no reason to apologize.”
  144.
  145. He challenges you for, as he quite puts it, absolutely no reason. He’s about to apologize for that when he catches himself, and the fight begins.
  146.
  147. >Siegfried: “Guh… So-”
  148. >Emiya: “Got you!”
  149. >Siegfried: “-rry… I failed.”
  150.
  151. Mashu declares victory, but Siegfried smirks and says victory is actually his, and that he doesn’t apologize for the trickery since this sort of stuff should be part of a warrior’s duty. Emiya howls at Mashu to put up her shield, everything goes black, and he begins the UBW chant.
  152.
  153.
  154. 5)
  155. Siegfried was apparently a decoy so Fake Arash and Fake Arjuna could rain arrows down on you on his signal, though Mashu and Archer blocked them. Archer apparently pulled out a shield of his own, so that’s what the incantation was.
  156.
  157. Arjuna praises the “nameless heroes” for stopping their arrows, though Emiya says that they made a mistake not to use their Noble Phantasms instead.
  158.
  159. >Arash: “Ahh, it’s troubling you see. If I used my Noble Phantasm, that girl would end up grieving.”
  160.
  161. Da Vinci already guesses what’s up and asks them about their “position” relative to their master. Arjuna doesn’t seem like he wants to answer, so Arash cuts in and says that he’s “‘Tsun’, but also ‘S’.”Arjuna cuts back and further elaborates that he is “a science-focused Senpai who is an ’Extreme S’, but ‘Dere’ when it counts the most.”
  162.
  163. >Mashu: “Extreme S…”
  164. >Da Vinci: “Who is dere when it counts…”
  165. >Emiya: “Science-focused Senpai…”
  166. >Protagonist: “Maybe because of the white...”
  167. >Arjuna: “No, settling on that so carefreely… well, maybe…”
  168.
  169. Arash is much more willing to answer the he’s the “next-door older childhood friend who’s in humanities.”
  170.
  171. >Da Vinci: “Next-door …”
  172. >Mashu: “Older humanities student…”
  173. >Emiya: “Childhood friend…”
  174.
  175. Incidentally, he says Siegfried was the “class idol who by coincidence sat on the next seat over.”
  176.
  177. >Protagonist: “Class idol-“
  178. >Emiya: “Ok, let’s stop doing that.”
  179.
  180. Emiya works out that the fakes all seem to be pretty boys summoned into roles meant to rain affection on their master, and Da Vinci supposes that the Master began selling the fake items to gather the means to do this. Arash says that they got the outline, but some details are off, and Arjuna stops him telling him to at least not give away the plot.
  181.
  182. Arjuna asks you if you won’t just leave them alone since this won’t create a Singularity or any of the sort, and you should prioritize saving humanity over chasing the fakes. Emiya says he’ll leave the decision to you.
  183.
  184. >Da Vinci: “Letting my works be buried is vexing, but it can’t be helped. After all, humanity is in danger. If there’s no one to appreciate them, then there’s no point. True, beauty is something that simply has to be there for you to visualize the truth of this world. That is al I feed on. That is the reason for my existence. This is what I was born for. So ultimately, it is fine so long as it does not obstruct my work in the arts. No matter who in this world may contradict me, no matter who in this world may accuse me, I alone will be able to fill my chest and say with full confidence “I created that!”
  185.
  186. Everyone pauses and looks at him, so da Vinci blushes and apologizes for going off like that and tells Roman to just bring them home.
  187.
  188. >Protagonist: “Wait.”
  189. >Emiya: [Smiling] “Hm.”
  190. >Mashu: [Smiling] “…Master.”
  191. >Protagonist: “Halt the Ley shift!”
  192. >Da Vinci: “B… but why? I don’t mind. I can always make new paintings!”
  193. >Protagonist: “I want to see Da Vinci-chan’s originals!”
  194.
  195. Mashu and Emiya agree, so you’re gonna beat up the fakes anyway because reasons. Arash thinks it’s amusing, and the two prepare to fight.
  196.
  197. Arjuna and Arash admit defeat, and Da Vinci says it’s time to stop the world tour and asks them where that girl’s art museum is. They answer that there’s no reason to, since they should know where the finest works of art are stored in the present world, and then they vanish. Then Da Vinci thanks you for your earlier words.
  198.
  199. >Roman: “Amazing! I can’t believe I’m watching Da Vinci being shy!”
  200. >Mashu: “Doctor, please leave, we’re having a good moment.”
  201.
  202. Anyway, having deduced the answer from Arjuna’s comment, you’re off to the Louvre Museum.
  203.
  204. 6)
  205. Already in the Louvre, Mashu asks shyly if it’d be possible to take a look around later if you have time. If you just answer “sure,” Emiya starts to complain about slacking off, but then shrugs and says that it’d be fine and he wouldn’t mind looking around too. Or you can tease her.
  206.
  207. >Protagonist: “Of course, it’ll be a date!”
  208. >Mashu: “Da- Da- A… um. I’m not sure you will be satisfied with me, but if the opportunity comes, I’ll be in your care!”
  209.
  210. You fight some enemies and move on, finally meeting Caster Gilles.
  211.
  212. >Da Vinci: “Of course, if she’s here, so would he.”
  213.
  214. Gilles is the “father whom [she] loved a lot as a child, but became sadly annoyed with when [she] began her rebellious age.”
  215.
  216. >Protagonist: “How sad.”
  217. >Mashu: “A straightforward setting, thank you for making it clear.”
  218. >Gilles: “Thank you, gentle lady. If only my daughter were as kind.”
  219.
  220. Gilles tries to persuade you to go away, saying that if it’s a problem to copy Da Vinci’s stuff, they’ll convince “that girl” to copy someone else’s, however, you answer that you must meet her. Gilles understands, but says that he will stop you, as he and the other six were created to fulfil her wishes, and that fake or not, he exists all the same.
  221.
  222. After you defeat Gilles, Da Vinci guesses that the last remaining fake should be Karna. Emiya guesses Kojirou, and Mashu guesses Leonidas, though Da Vinci says there’s no chance it’s him.
  223.
  224. >Mashu: “Who do you think it’ll be, Master?”
  225.
  226. Two options:
  227.
  228. >Protagonist: “E. Teach.”
  229. >Mashu: “E. Teach? Who?”
  230. >Emiya: “Blackbeard E. Teach. I see, so that’s… wait no, no way.”
  231. >Mashu: “Blackbeard-san…? No way, Master!? Have you taken a blow to the head!?”
  232.
  233. Or:
  234.
  235. >Protagonist: “Amadeus maybe?”
  236. >Emiya: “Mozart? His features might be okay, but he ruins it as soon as he speaks, doesn’t he?
  237. >Da Vinci: “That’s it. Make it so he’s a “taciturn musician” and there’ll be no problem.”
  238. >Mashu: “I see, so there’ll be no problem if he doesn’t open his mouth.”
  239. >Roman: “What a heartless discussion, you guys.”
  240.
  241. 7)
  242. You approach a room and Emiya hears a voice. He wonders if the fakes are unable to sense real Servants, so they have a shot of taking them by surprise. You hear someone complaining about someone having turned wrong in some way, and you burst in through the door to find Jeanne Alter and Brynhildr. Hugging.
  243.
  244. >Jeanne: “Let me go!”
  245. >Bryn: “Aaah, aaah, my beloved! Master! Please scold me more!”*
  246. >Jeanne: [OH SHIT FACE]
  247. >Da Vinci: “…”
  248. >Emiya: “…”
  249. >Mashu: “…”
  250. >Fou: “…”
  251. >Protagonist: “…pretend I didn’t see anything?”
  252. >Jeanne: “I’d be thankful if you did!”
  253.
  254. *”Master” as in “goshujin-sama”, and both that and “my beloved” have “Sigurd” written in ruby text.
  255.
  256. Incidentally, if you choose to challenge to a fight, the boss music starts to play, but Emiya goes “Wait, wait, no, there’s no way we can transition right to a fight from this. Let’s talk it out first.”
  257.
  258. Scene blacks out and Jeanne switches into “evil boss” mode.
  259.
  260. >Jeanne: “You have done well to come this far! So you have followed the traces of those pitiful fakes to get here…”
  261. >Bryn: “Haaah… haah…”
  262. >Protagonist: “Uhm, that down at your feet…”
  263. >Jeanne: “TA GUEULE! (French for shut the fuck up)”
  264. >[Jeanne kicks her away]
  265. >Emiya: “She sent her flying…”
  266. >Mashu: “T-then, let’s start again… uh, sorry, what’s that noise?”
  267. >Jeanne: “No way…”
  268. >[Brynhildr quickly crawls her way back]
  269. >Jeanne: “Kyaaaaa!”
  270. >Emiya: “Calm down, Brynhildr!
  271.
  272. >Bryn: “I love only Onee-sama, so I will receive her love with all my self. What’s wrong about that?”
  273. >Emiya: “So that kick was an expression of love?”
  274. >Jeanne: “LIKE HELL IT WAS! I thought that ‘it’d be fine if one of my seven subordinates were a girl’. It got twisted somewhere and she started calling me one-sama instead of Master and acting subservient like that…”
  275. >Bryn: “Love… I love it all… Haah… haaah…”
  276. >Jeanne: [Kicking her] “STOP! ASKING! FOR LOVE! LIKE THAT!”
  277. >Bryn: “This pain…! The impact… like an electric current… Love… hurts after all…!”
  278. >Emiya: “Well, that’s true in part I guess…”
  279.
  280. Jeanne then tries to pretend nothing happened again and goes back to her boss routine.
  281.
  282. >Jeanne: “Unexpectedly fast. As usual, your nose is as good as a dog’s huh?”
  283. >Mashu: “It’s been since Orleans, Jeanne Alter.”
  284. >Emiya: “You were destroyed.”
  285. >Jeanne: “Hah. No matter how wrapped the method of my creation, destroying the concept of ‘myself’ after it was created was impossible.”
  286. >Emiya: “I see. All things born in this world will be broken or destroyed, but the fact that they were born will never be erased.”
  287. >Jeanne: “As expected, Faker.”
  288. >Emiya: “But that’s not enough. Your existence was a wish ranted by the Grail to Gilles de Rais. That Grail was recovered and you were defeated. The odds of you being summoned again were zero.”
  289.
  290. As Jeanne says, the only one who wished for her existence was dead, so there was no one to wish for her revival. But then the concept got reversed. She hated the world that did not wish for her, so… and this is where I have no clue if I’m getting this right… she “became the opposite mirror of the bastards who should hate her, and by dragging out the wish of “that stupid woman”, she somehow came back to life.”
  291.
  292. If you’re confused, so am I. Anyhow, she says that she admits she’s a fake, but not going to repeat the failure at Orleans and will exceed the original by force.
  293.
  294. >Jeanne: “I am Jeanne d’Arc. The fallen witch whom so many believed deserving of revenge after meeting such an end. Without a doubt, I am an aspect of Jeanne d’Arc! Born of dark hatred and jet-black killing intent, Anti-Hero, Servant Avenger!”
  295.
  296. Emiya doesn’t buy this is all there is and challenges her, asking why would someone just bent on revenge create handsome men to be her subordinates instead of relying on Gilles like before.
  297.
  298. >Emiya: “The answer is obvious. You may not realize it, but deep inside, you wanted to be the Heroine!”
  299. >Jeanne: “Stop fucking around! So what about this perverted sexually-harassing woman!?”
  300. >Bryn: “Uhm… pervert is… too passionate…”
  301. >Jeanne: “Die of dehydration!”
  302. >Mashu: “Uhm, I think I understand. She wished for a “Honest, single friend of the same sex.’”
  303. >Jeanne: “----------------------------!”
  304. >Jeanne: “…Annoying. You’re really annoying. I am just an avenger. The fakes are just tools to be crushed if they displease me. Come now, reals ones! I will prove to you right here than a fake can surpass the original!”
  305.
  306.
  307. After the battle.
  308.
  309. >Bryn: “I am defeated. Master, I am sorry for not being more help.”
  310. >Jeanne: “Ahhh, it’s fine. I could clearly see how hard you tried. Your lack of power is my fault, I couldn’t summon you properly. Want to at least curse me in your last moments like the others?”
  311. >Bryn: “Ufufufu, you have not realized it yet, Master? I had fun. I had a lot of fun. We are fake heroes, so we could indulge in vices, masochism and folly that the true ones never could. Thanks to you Master, we could have fun like idiots. Why would I curse someone who granted us so much joy? Whether granted emotions or artificial settings, those are only starting points. Beginning from there, we grew to like you a lot. I’m sorry, but this is the end. Good Bye, onee-sama.”
  312.
  313. 8)
  314. Bryn’s disappearance plays out again. Jeanne grumbles, saying that the seven fake servants were just something she created for her own amusement, and that she doesn’t need their affection since they and her are all fakes anyway.
  315.
  316. >Da Vinci: “Haaah, even after being cornered this much, you haven’t realized your own feelings.”
  317.
  318. Da Vinci tells her that as far as creating a “fake that can surpass the original”, Jeanne had already succeeded in one aspect. After all, unlike the originals, hers weren’t bound by their heroic-ness.
  319.
  320. >Protagonist: “Everyone had fun.”
  321. >Jeanne: “…quit fucking around. What joke is that? What was fun?”
  322. >Da Vinci: “Hey, I am Leonardo Da Vinci the creator of countless original works, aren’t I? Do you think I would not be able to recognize authenticity? They were all satisfied from the bottom of their hearts. Those guys held more affection and concern for you than even the real ones.”
  323.
  324. >Jeanne: “I don’t get it. Don’t get it don’t get it don’t get it! After all… there’s nothing lovable about me! I have no charm! I’m just a worthless rebellious little girl! I have nothing but a sickening amount of strength! So I can’t help it, can I!? There’s nothing else for me! I have nothing save pursue my revenge!”
  325. >Da Vinci: “Isn’t that enough?”
  326. >Jeanne: “Eh?”
  327. >Da Vinci: “Setting aside affection or charm, you are perfectly worthy as a Servant, aren’t you?”
  328.
  329. Leonardo then invites her to Chaldea, saying that you pretty much take whoever whether they’re heroes or anti-heroes.
  330.
  331. >Jeanne: “……”
  332. >Protagonist: “……”
  333. >Jeanne: “……”
  334. >Protagonist: “……”
  335. >Jeanne: “……”
  336. >Protagonist: “……”
  337. >Jeanne: “…I lose.”
  338. >Emiya: “Do you surrender?”
  339. >Jeanne: “I admit my inferiority complex towards that holy woman. I admit that I craved to be wanted by someone. And I admit that there is still hatred smouldering in my heart. I admit that no matter how many achievements I hold, no matter how many lives I save, I will remain the unrewarded Avenger. I am the Avenger who has committed many unpardonable sins. If you wish for this power, if you wish for this evil flag, then I will answer your call.”
  340. >Mashu: “Master, we did it!”
  341. >Protagonist: “Then let’s return ho-“
  342. >Jeanne: “THEN LET US KILL EACH OTHER FOR THE LAST TIME!”
  343. >Mashu: “B-but, you surrendered!
  344. >Jeanne: “Pfft, you believed that I would go to Chaldea just like that?”
  345.
  346. She essentially feels she’s gotta fight you since you beat her subordinates and she’s their evil boss.
  347.
  348. >Emiya: “Oh boy, that’s the pride of the evil leader huh? Can’t be helped then.”
  349.
  350. Da Vinci agrees that this is something Jeanne needs to do, so you fight.
  351.
  352. After the fight:
  353.
  354. >Jeanne: “Haah, I couldn’t make it huh?” But alright. It was fun. Just like how that crawling girl said, I really had a lot of fun. This story is over.”
  355. >Protagonist: “…”
  356. >Jeanne: “Gah, how irritating. This is fine! The next me will be bound to you. The current me will humorously disappear along with my companions. The next me probably won’t remember anything about the fake servants, so it’d be sad if the current me didn’t hold on to those memories… Now then, I’m sweating with embarrassment. You better take responsibility for that. Goodbye.”
  357.
  358. Jeanne disappears, and Mashu recovers the Grail, wondering where the heck Jeanne got it from. Emiya compliments you on your diligence and drive to see everything through, Da Vinci says you should return already since a hikikomori like him got enough time out already, and Mashu says that he ought to get some exercise occasionally instead of just fiddling with inventions all day.
  359.
  360. >Da Vinci: “If it’s exercise, I can use the bicycle in my room. Isn’t that enough?”
  361.
  362. Emiya then says that when they get back he and King Leonidas will prepare a training regimen for him.
  363.
  364. >De Vinci: “No way! Not from a complete muscle-head! If my muscle mass increases, the golden ratio will be ruined!
  365. >Emiya: “It’s fine, with just a bit of training, you should be able to join the front lines again. That will be fun, right Master?”
  366. >Protagonist: “I want you to join the team.”
  367. >Da Vinci: “No no no, I refuse! I have too much work to do!”
  368.
  369. And so the event ends.
