  3. WHAT TO EQUIP ON WHO?

  5. UNIQUES (SSR / Gold Augments)
  6. Always use when available due to skill upgrade. Unique Augments can only be equipped by 1 boat, the one that has the skill that the augment upgrades - eg. the "No More Tears" augment boosts the "Eagle's Tears" skill for Arizona.

  8. GENERIC AUGMENTS (SR / Purple Augments)
  9. BB/BC/BBV
  10. Bowgun vs heavy armor for the module bonus.
  11. Bowgun vs medium armor for augment stats.
  12. Officer Sword vs light armor, because the Bowgun nerfs damage dealt to light armor.

  14. CV/CVL
  15. Scepter on your carrier that launches fastest, Hunting Bows on the other 2 CVs.
  16.  
  17. CL
  18. Swords for the screen clear. HIT/RLD is minor bonus for CL. Has "Spread" type screenclear.
  19. For PVP and plane heavy maps (W12/W13) you can give 1 Crossbow to the frontliner with the highest AA stat.

  21. DD
  22. Dual swords on gun based DDs, eg. Kitakaze, Z23, Chang Chun to boost their FP and EVA. Has "Area" type screenclear.
  23. Hammers can be used on boats with bad gun stats to boost their TRP instead, eg. Ayanami, Kazagumo, Shimakaze. Has "Spread" type screenclear.

  25. CB/CA/BM/AE
  26. Greatsword vs all, FP/TRP is the superior choice. Has "Area" type screenclear.
  27. Lance - Currently has 0 good use cases. Don't craft for now.

  30. 1 Kunai on your submarine that has the fastest reload to inflict a debuff on hit that decreases the damage that enemy deals.
  31. 2 Daggers on your other 2 for the increased TRP crit. You can also use 3 Daggers for maximum damage if you don't need the Kunai debuff.

  33. AR
  34. Currently they can only equip crossbows, which negates the need for a frontliner to equip one.

  36. SCREENCLEAR EFFECTS
  37. There are 2 types of "melee" screenclear, Area and Spread.
  38. Spread launches a projectile in front of the boat, this clears enemy projectiles and does damage on contact with an enemy.
  39. Area is a circular AoE around the boat, this also clears enemy projectiles and does damage on contact with an enemy.
  40. Equipping multiple boats with the same type of screenclear increases its level.

  42. LVL 1 SPREAD - 1 Boat equipped with Spread. Standard effect, no bonus.
  43. LVL 2 SPREAD - 2 Boats equipped with Spread. The launched projectile fires twice.
  44. LVL 3 SPREAD - 3 Boats equipped with Spread. The launched projectile fires twice and the 2nd projectile inflicts Armor Break.

  46. LVL 1 AREA - 1 Boat equipped with Area. Standard effect, no bonus.
  47. LVL 2 AREA- 2 Boats equipped with Area. The AoE area increases in size, about double the LVL 1 area.
  48. LVL 3 AREA- 3 Boats equipped with Area. The AoE area increases in size, about double the LVL 1 area and inflicts a 20% slow for 5 seconds when damaging an enemy.

  51. MODULE EFFECTS
  52. Each augment comes with a "Module Effect". These only activate when the augment reaches level 10. Only SR and SSR Augments have activatable Module Effects, so don't waste upgrade materials on rare / blue Augments.
  53. You use "Augment Module Stones" to increase the level of augments, and there are 3 tiers. Rare, T1 gives 10 exp. Elite, T2 gives 100 exp. Super Rare, T3 gives 1000 exp.
  54. You need 3120 exp to get a Unique Augment to level 10. You need 780 exp to get a Generic Augment to level 10.

  56. CONVERSION
  57. On a ships gear page, touch the augment to bring up the equip display. You can then press the "convert" button to increase the stats it gives the ship.
  58. You use "Augment Module Conversion Stones" to increase the stats of augments and there are 2 tiers. Elite, T1 is used to convert Generic augments. Super Rare, T2 is used to convert Uniques.
  59. When "Converting" an augment, the stats can only increase, so maxing out their bonus stats is just a matter of time. There is some slight RNG involved to determine how much the value increases, but dont worry because stats can only increase.
  60. Once you have confirmed the use of the Stone, press the "Attribute Conversion" button to increase the stats of the Augment, then press the "Keep New" button to confirm. Repeat until you have maxed stats.
