Touhou's bizarre adventure Chapter two "Letter from the past

As seven years has passed, there was a pretty girl named Tenshi Hinanawi, the deadly celestial. She stalks around the streets, terrorzing the men at the human village. She has been making cover around Gensokyo news. As she was standing there, looking at the dead body she made. she smiled like a madman, waiting for her next victim.

And a feud between Sakuya and Marisa would unleashed the same horror, that was created from the outside world.


Around the school in the afternoon, a game of football was being played in the high school. A team of humans were competing with the friendly youkais. The humans were winning, but what makes it more fun is the cheerleaders. The crowd was cheering for the humans to win for them, while the youkais were cheering for their species to win. While the human team was getting ready to win, the cheerleaders o f the humans got ready to step it up.

The announcer was amazed from one of the cheerleaders. 'Here we are of the human village's school is the best pose maker, a seventeen year old, 158 cm, Marisa Kirisama! Giving our team the confidence for the win!' the announcer said observing the movements with their pom poms.

'Give me a H, give me a U, give me M,A,N! What's that Spell?! Human!!!' They yelled as they made a great gesture. Give the choice Marisa and Sakuya jumped up top of the girls fir their hands to hold out together and it brought the one girls one step close up top of their hands for them to make a perfect pyramid. Everyone cheered on as they make a great performance.

'Amazing!! They just make a triangle shape position that I have never sen before, thanks to our school hero Marisa Kirisama and our popular girl Sakuya Izayoi!' the announcer said

Marisa and Sakuya looked at each other happily and did high five, not letting go.

'We did it Marisa' Sakuya said to Marisa proudly.

'Yeah, that was some great movements!' Marisa gave back to Sakuya.

'And it's all thanks to you' Sakuya added back.

'Sakuya plans to graduate for her top grades and law. Marisa had written a fine thesis on archaeology. This school belongs to our prideful students!' The announcer yelled and everyone cheered.

'TouHou, let's go back and tell mother about our success' Sakuya told Marisa

Sakuya ran somewhere. Marisa was dazed for a moment. Marisa didn't understand why Sakuya called Mima mother.

In Marisa's thoughts. 'How long has it been since Mom adopted Sakuya. We have been getting along, but after seven since she tried to turn my life a living hell, how can I ever forget those years' She looked back on the painful memories since Sakuya first showed up.

Everyone tried to talk to Sakuya.

'Sakuya, what is your connection with you and Marisa?' the reporter ask.

'Well I really don't feel like answering that question'. Sakuya replied

'Everyone wants to know what bond you two share' The reporter begged.

'Well' She spoke, but inside her mind 'Friends? what a joke. I plan to take my fortune back. Once I graduate, I'll finish that Mima Kirisama and take everything that should be mine'.

Inside the Izayoi Mansion, the lady Mima was feeling sick, as she coughed and coughed again. Both Marisa and Sakuya were looking at her in pity.

'Are you alright Mother?' Sakuya ask.

'I'm fine' Mima coughed 'Except for this cough. They want me to head to the hospital'.

'That won't be necessary' It confused Mima and Marisa. 'They don't cure illness, they only want money' Sakuya explained

'I won't bother leaving, I feel better staying here. pain in my chest is dying and the swelling in my fingers are normal again.' Mima said proudly.

'It was only a cold, but why is it getting worse?' Marisa said to herself

'Well excellent job on your performance' Mima said to her "children"

'WHAT!!' Marisa and Sakuay yelled in shocked.

'A college girl came and told me everything about it all' Mima answered.

'But mother, we wanted to be the first to tell you everything about it, after we left. How sad. 'Sakuya replied.

They were have a good laughed after that conversation.

'I am glad you wanted to tell me about it. It brings me joy to have suck wonder daughters like you. Even you Sakuya, as soon as you graduate, I hope you continued on your dreams. I'll follow you all the way. If only your mother was still alive, it would of been like old times, me and her' Mima chattered.

Sakuya looked skeptic from hearing this about her mother.

'I'm glad you and her were good friends. I bet you wanted to thank her, after bringing you out of the poverty' Sakuya said showing the face of a fearsome animal.

In Marisa's room, she tried to take look ups on the stone mask, remembering how it popped up to spikes. She had a knife and pocked on her finger to get a sample of her blood out. Dropping it on the mask to see it pop out to spikes again.

To Marisa's thoughts 'I could only find this clue of the mask, but what was this mask and where did it come from? It only belonged to my father. He was outsider like my mother said. It did help for me to think of her. I even tried to learn some magic, to see what purpose was this mask created for, and why.'

She then tried to get a book for her studies and magic. then she accidentally drop a old box, with a mail.

'oh shit!' she cursed herself

Then Marisa looked down to the with the mail on it. The mail said Bijin Izayoi. Marisa then got close to read it.
Where to Sakuya doing the maid's job.

'I'll be the one to give this to her' Sakuya said to her (real)mother's maid.

'I always did love work for her(Bijin), and seeing you doing this for Lady Mima is a honor.' The maid said.

As when Sakuya was holding the tray, she replace the real medicine with a fake one.

Marisa was devastated after reading the mail

'I knew it! She!'


Marisa was running up the stair to see Sakuya, to give Mima the fake medicine and caught her red handed.

'Sakuya!!' Marisa yelled. She was almost close to the stairs 'What are you doing with that medicine!?'

Sakuya had eyes that looked liked she's pissed. She tried to hold her anger into a lady like manner.

'Is something wrong?' Sakuya asked.

'Have you always brought Mom medicine?' Marisa complained.

'Yes I have, why?' Sakuya said making a confusing lie.

'Well I found this letter from your real mother. 'Marisa held the old mail from Bijin. 'It saids. I am really badly sick. The pain won't leave my chest, my fingers were swelling and the cough never left me. I only knew one thing, that my life will end here. 'Marisa stopped reading and gave a fit to Sakuya. 'Those are the same symptoms my mother is suffering from! What are you planning!?

'I do not know what your talking about' Sakuya sassed at Marisa.

'I'm having that Medicine checked!' Marisa yelled, but before she could get to the medicine, Sakuya grabbed and cringed her arm.

'TouHou, if your doubting that medicine, then you doubt our bond, it so, then do you want us to be enemies agains!?' Sakuya said, giving her the angry animal look. 'Not put the medicine down, and we'll forget this nonsense'


To Marisa's thoughts, 'I can't look at her with the eyes of disappointment just yet, I have to see certain first' She got back to reality, freeing herself from Sakuya's grip. 'You will swear on your real mothers honor! Do that and we will forget this nonsense, like you said. Marisa finished.

Sakuya was feeling skeptic about that idea. Her personality in her was getting the better of her.

To Marisa's thoughts, 'If theory is right, she has a pride that won't allow her to'.

Sakuya felt frozen to her soul for a moment

'Well!?' Marisa yelled.

'I swear... I swear on my mother's honor.... 'She balded up her fist and snapped 'You ungrateful brat! I DON'T GIVE A DAMN ABOUT MY MOTHER OR HER HONOR!!!' Sakuya screamed at Marisa.

She tried to kick her, but Marisa caught her foot, man bigger then any skillful female warrior.

'I knew. And it proves my point. Your female body is a mask that hides that of a man with a unnatural behavior. I don't know what happen between you two, but I know that you killed her! My mother's dear friend!' Marisa speeched.

From hearing this again her mother again, Sakuya got pissed off, so she tried to use a knife, she hind inside her booties to stab her with, but Marisa quickly grabbed her arm.

'I won't let you hurt my family. I'll always protect them with my life!' She Marisa warned Sakuya.

With both limbs grabbed, Marisa threw Sakuya from the downstairs flat ground. Marisa pointed to.

'You never showed me any kindness over the last seven years! I'll have this checked and bring it to the noble police from the human village!' Marisa reminded her of their past.

After recovering from the fall, she walked back up stair to head to her room.

To Sakuya's thoughts, 'I was close, so close. Was it a omen for Marisa to find out? No, I won't let that piece of trash stop me to accomplish my goal' As she got back to her room.' Me and my mother' she looked back at the time when she was twelve. 'She had everything. But all that is useful to her are the things that are childish! Always so cheerful no matter what! it makes me sick to think about her blood that runs in my veins!'' As one clumsy maid made a mess, trying to get her mistress her food. Sakuya looked calmed at first, as the maid tried to quickly clean it up, hoping her master won't be cruel. 'I.I.I. I'm sorry my lady, ju,,just let me-' But the maid was cut off by Sakuya slapping her, looking angry. 'Is this how you serve your mistress!? You Slacker!' Sakuya was about to slap the maid again, as she shielded herself, but Bijin grabbed Sakuya's hand, before she could strike at her. Sakuya then turned back to see her mother, looking real mad at her daughter 'That is no way to treat the maids in this mansion!' Bijin then slapped Sakuya, as she hit the ground. Bijin then forcefully grabbed her by the dress collar, then walked her daughter to her room, pushing her inside. 'I haven't seen this behaviour, since you were born! At the same time your father left us! But you are to treat the maids with proper respect! Not with cruelty here!' As she got close to Sakuya, Bijin slapped her to her bed, then Bijin left her daughter in her room, slamming the door. As Sakuya recovered, a vision of evil red eyes were seen. 'I never knew my father, but I felt his spirit inside me' Sakuya never moved from her spot, as she heard the voice of a evil, but charming man. 'You hate your mother, do you? I know what it felt like when my father insulted me, back when I was your age. You want to kill her, don't you? It's your choice' The voice disappeared as well as the evil eyes disappearing. 'I listened to the spirit of my father. My mother never told me what my father was like. I made the choice to kill my mother' As she got to her room, she sat in her chair to calm down. Her last thoughts were, 'There is no turning back now'.


In Mima's room she got everything ready, and there were doctors there as well.

'Mother I'm going to be gone for a couple day, until then, only take medicine for the doctors.' Marisa warned her mother

'But isn't my treatment enough?' The maid said sadden.

'Just do what my Marisa said' Mima said in a old lady voice, due to being sick, 'I don't know why, but I trust my daughter' Mima finished, as she continued to get worse from coughing.

To Marisa's thought's, 'She's getting worse. I have to find a cure for her.' Marisa held on the medicine.

She was taking a wagon with horses on them. Sakuya watched from Marisa's window, in her room, to see Marisa leave.

'I'll have to finish of TouHou before she finds out about the medicine' She walked up to Marisa's desk and kicked the lock off, opening it to reveal the mask. 'It has to be the perfect crime' Sakuya then got to reading a book, that Marisa was writing about from the mask. 'Marisa wasn't the only that wary with the mask. It reacted with my blood, seven years ago. I might use this mask to kill her instantly. It can even look like a accident, so no one can suspect a thing. Marisa, curiosity will kill you as a cat' Sakuya finished.


Marisa traveled for two days and still couldn't find the source of the medicine, so she decided to head to the one place no human could go. The Youkai forest. As she made the stop there.

Those her thoughts, 'They couldn't fine the ingredients from the fake medicine, not from university or factory, so chances are that it was only made by the youkais. Youkais are known to attack humans when violent. They could even eat your flesh when they want to kill'.

'Umm miss, don't you know that your head to the Youkai Mountain, cause no one is allowed there. It's the most dangerous place around Gensokyo.' the lady driver said.

'I know, but I have a reason to go there. Go home if you wish. Marisa said to her driver, and the lady driver nodded. 'I need to head there to find the evidence. Me and my mom used to live close from the Youkai Forest, before we lived rich'. Marisa thought to herself.

As she walked close to the Youkai Forest, she notice her path is close.

'I should be close' Marisa thought.

She notice a moving ground and saw the growling mouse youkai with a dead youkai in her mouth, then ran away like a madman.

It shocked Marisa so much to see that. 'That mouse youkai was eating a youkai cat!' She fright. 'And that's not all I heard, there were also said to be Kappas and Tengus and the kind are Tengu Wolves and Crows around the mountain' Marisa finished.

Marisa looked behind her to see them. One was a tengu wolf, the other was a tengu crow, and the last is a kappa. They were heading straight to Marisa.

'I can see why it's called the Youkai Mountain, cause you act like them.' Marisa spoke to them.

One of them was named Momiji Inubashiri the white wolf tengu, the other is Hatate Himekaidou the tengu crow and the last is Nitori Kawashiro the kappa.

'Hey get her!' Momiji yelled

'Let's slice her up to chunks!' Hatate replied.

Momiji jumped in a battle cry to strike Marisa with her sword, but she grabbed like a warrior.

Hatate and Nitori were shocked to see that.

'What the?! How did she do that' Hatate paniced.

'That baka just grabbed it! I never seen a human that!' Momiji replied. 'Well, all I have to do is yank it off her hands and see if I sliced off her fingers' Momiji threaten Marisa.

'Go on then, but once you do, I'll kick you to your bloody nose. I'm willing to lose a couple of fingers. I'm only here to protect my family' Marisa warned.

Momiji tried to protest Marisa by pulling her sword, but Marisa instantly kicked her nose, making it all bloody, then fell flat to the ground.

'Now tell me where they sell youkai medicine!' Marisa asked.

'Hey! 'Nitori yelled to Marisa. 'You said your willing to lose a few fingers' Nitori took of her hat to reveal a artificial lily pad, filled with metal blades on the ends.

Marisa was amazed from her blade like lily pad. Nitori threw it to the air, moving it like she controls the wind to the hat like magic.

'Better not bluff me Human!' The lily pad got back to her head. 'You ever been in a fight?' Nitori asked.

'I want to know where to the shop for this medicine' Marisa yelled to get ready for the fight.

Nitori ran as fast as a ninja to Marisa, but she kicked the sword straight toward Nitori, then Nitori threw her metal sharp lily pad to Marisa. Marisa caught the blade in her hand, trying to cut her hand off.

'Nailed it! And I mean literally.' Nitori remarked 'The sword caught me off guard but I still got ya' she finished.

But Marisa walked to Nitori, even with the blade still trying to cut her hand off, but it was like nothing to her. Nitori was frozen in shocked that she is still going. Marisa kicked her in the chin, making a boom sound from the kick, sending her flying flat to earth.

To Nitori's thoughts, 'She's no human, she's a monster. Why did I even pick a fight with this tough girl!'

Marisa looked around to see tengu crows and wolves around her, with no way to escape.


'What!? Marisa got to the Youkai Forest?!!' the maid said scared.

'Try not to worry Lady Kirisama about this, okey? Sakuya asked

The maid nodded


 Marisa got ready to fight every last one of them, but just when the real fight was ready.

'Stop!!' Nitori said. They stop to see her call them off. 'Don't you dare lay a hand on this lady' Notari called.

'Lady?' Marisa wondered.

'Why did kick me on my chin, instead of my face? If you kicked my face, you would've ruin it.' Nitori questioned

'I only here for my mother's life, and I figured you must have a family as well, so I don't want them to worry' Marisa explained.

To Nitori's thought's is she for real? But even so, I could trust her. They are all my friends. She is a lady to the core.' Nitori recovered and went back to reality to Marisa. 'I really like your grove Girl, What's your name? Nitori asked.

Marisa smiled and then spoke. 'Marisa Kirisama, at your service.'

Your looking for the youkai medicine. The one buys it is a sinister cat!' Nitori finished.


Back in the Izayoi Mansion. The nurse was checking her pulse then looked at her clock.

'Marisa's been gone for three days' the nurse said.

'She dose what she says' Mima said with her normal voice back.

'She sure has grown into a woman' The nurse replied.

'That's why I push her at times, maybe too much.' Mima replied back.


At the Human village town at the dark night, Sakuya was walking around, in stagger. She was drinking Saké. As she stopped for a moment.

'I'm sure she is dead by now. She has to be.' Sakuya looked at her purple bottle wondered, 'Look at me, I'm drinking Saké. That's not something my mother would do. It feels like something only my father would be doing. Maybe that's the reason I have the urges to hate my mother so much.' Sakuya finished.

Near her was a family. A wife, a husband and a daughter. As they were trying to walk pass her. Sakuya Pushed their daughter away.

'Back off!' Sakuya yelled at the child, scaring her.

'Rumia are you okey?' The wife ask.

'Mommy, I'm scared.' The child whined

the husband got furious, then tried to get Sakuya's attention

'Hey! You got a problem or something?! Or are you BAKA!?' The man yelled.

'How could you be pushing a little girl away!?' the woman yelled as well.

Sakuya got enraged and and beat the woman with the saké bottle via breaking it. The was screaming out of control from bleeding to death.

'Mommy!!' Rumia yelled to her mother.

The man got real pissed, so he went to beat Sakuya. But Sakuya was quick to dodge that punch and grabbed him to use his own strength against him, pushing him to a corner and quickly grabbed her knife under her bootie, then slid his throat. Rumia screamed at the horror. Sakuya then walked up to the walked up to Rumia. She tried to run, but she grabbed her by the neck, before her chance to run open.

Sakuya then pushed her to the ground, keeping her from moving. She then held the stone mask out to test it.

'I'll use you as a guinea pig for this.' Sakuya said to Rumia.

Rumia did nothing but cried her tears out, wondering what she meant. Sakuya then use her knife to finish off the bleeding woman off, by hitting it to her head to her brain, killing her instantly. As her blood gushed out, Sakuya pushed the mask to Rumia's face. The blood then splattered on the mask. To the mask's reaction to blood, it's spikes popped on Rumia head, then suddenly a glow appeared on the mask. Rumia was screaming from the effects of the mask, while Sakuya covered her face from the light.

After the light disappeared, she walked to the little to see if she's still alive.

'Was it a illusion?' Sakuya wondered. She pressed her foot gently to check the body, but it was all but lifeless. 'Well she's dead. Just nothing more but a toy for torture, but at least it fits for a child.' Sakuya said and she walked away.

As she was trying to get her knife and washed it away with some form of water she found, Rumia's body was somehow still alive. She risen from her short dead slumber with a brimming sound. As when she tried to leave, she felt fear from behind then turned around to see the child is still very much alive.

'Impossible!' She yelled in remark. The spikes of the mask disappeared, letting the mask fall of to reveal her fer face, but not the face of a normal little girl, but the face of terror that only a youkai could have.
'What the hell is she!?' She screamed, as Rumia showed her teeth of a monster with a manicish and sinister act.
'Those teeth!. Sakuya called

The little monster hissed at Sakuya. She got her knife ready again to battle this childish monster. Rumia roared at Sakuya to attack her. Sakuya threw her knife to Rumia's head, and it connect, but she was not slowing down or dying. Sakuya was able to jump away from the, but Rumia crashed to the walks, like it was made of plastic and can break easily. The crash pushed Sakuya to the edge towards the rivers.

'What is this power!?' Sakuya wondered to herself.

She saw Rumia walking close to Sakuya with the knife still on her brain, that should of killed her. She then took the knife out and threw it somewhere

'She's not stopping! Is she immune to pain?! She broke my arm! I have to get to the river before she kills me!' Sakuya quote.

But it was too late. Rumia grabbed her by neck, making Sakuya tremble in fear.

'So thirsty! Why am I so thirsty?! I guess I'll just drink you dry!' Rumia hissed.

Rumia sank her fangs to Sakuya's neck, making her gasp as Rumia was trying to drink her dry.

'She's... She's draining my blood!' Sakuya screamed in her mind. 'Is this the true purpose of the mask!?

Rumia sucked her blood harder for herself. She would soon avenge the death of her parents. Sakuya then screamed in agony to the sky. She saw the sunrise.

'No please!!! I don't want the sun to be the last time I see it!!! Please!!! Help me!!!' She screamed for her life.

As the sun risen. Rumia felt the sun's bright was burning her flesh. She screamed as she felt it was killing her, so she quickly ran to the forest before it had a chance to finally killer.

Sakuya was relived to be saved by the sun.

'The sun was killing her. But she escaped before it had a chance' Sakuya wondered to herself.

Sakuya then walked up to the mask and her knife. She has never saw anything like it before. It was BIZARRE.

In a stormy night, Sakuya returned to the Izayoi Mansion. Her sinister evil look did not change, but she felt that something was not right. As she walked to her quarters.

'What is the meaning of this!? Why is everything dark!?' Sakuya complained.

She then saw Marisa back alive, holding a candle lits. She lit them with a match, giving her the look of outrage.

'Sakuya! I have the proof of your demotic plan!' Marisa told Sakuya.

Sakuya could not believe it. Marisa was still alive. Sakuya growled to try to think of something to get rid of Marisa. Will she use the mask or will it be too late. Only the next chapter will give you that answer
