Episode 18: Signing up for the Liege Cup

A week before the Liege Cup, a tourney that will decide who will be Prince Chrom's partner for the Prince Cup held in Nohr within Nov. A lot of media attention have been given to this tourney as we see a crowd of people around the AMBA building in Demacia with reporters asking the civilians questions as to who will be the chosen victor. Many people are saying that Cordelia, The Prince's girlfriend, will be the winner. But there are some who say that the heiress to House Hresvelg, Edelgard with her lover Rhiannon, will be the champs. And a fewer still speak of Adam, the heir to House Hale even with the rumors surrounding him.

Regardless, the first truck that hold one of the contenders stop at the front with Sylvain Jose Gautier and his Scalie, Durag hopping out of the back of the truck. He waves at the crowd and winks at the ladies before kissing the hand of Olivia, his girlfriend, earning the jealous swoons of the ladies as he walk to the building and sign up.

Next up was a blue car where Felix Hugo Fraldarius step out with Mercial behind him. Unlike Sylvain, Neither Felix nor Mercial acknowledged the crowd as they calmly step towards the building, although one could see Felix's mouth twitch at the mention of how cute he was from the females.

Third on the list was a black truck where a Ragnarok was flying above before a dark-pink haired lady in a black leather clothing matching that of a dragon's scale stepped out and waved to the crowd. This is Cherche Lurkinson, daughter of 2 black smiths who went on to a monster training career with good results thanks to her mighty dragon, Marche. As she walk on towards the building, she stop and blink as she sees Felix standing there.

"Felix?" She call out as she approaches him, he clears his throat and responds, a noticeable break in his voice. "Che-Cherche.." Mercial raise an eyebrow at his trainer's behavior as Cherche walk up and place her hand on her shoulder. "Mercie, it's been so long...how you been?" She smiles as they walk inside the building for Felix to scowl at his friend Sylvain's teasing look. The latter knowing all too well of Felix's crush on Cherche..

The fourth car is owned by an long orange haired man with a great fancy robe that's red and a sea-dinosaur flopping on the ground and rising up. This is Ferdinand Von Aegir, self-proclaimed rival of Edelgard Von Hresvelg with his Lesione, Assal. Now we say self-proclaimed cause as far as she is concerned, Edelgard don't see the man as a rival, not that she dislike or hate him, but he doesn't register on her radar.

Speaking of them, they are the 5th contenders with Aymr parked in the back of their truck as Rhiannon step out with Edelgard standing next to her and holding her hand. They walk towards the building and wave to the public with their Betheguise behind them. The 2 of them have spent time training Aymr(When they're not having sex with one another or someone else with them)

The 6th contender is a member of the Hale family who arrive in a black/red car with an arrogant flair to them. Coming out of the car with a black/red attire consisting of the finest clothing on with shades on with a old cat monster that's carrying a jug of beer. This is Adam Taurus, Heir to House Hale and one who have a sort of nasty rumors surrounding himself that which he can ignore due to his wealth and power. His record in the ring is that of sheer violence and multiple injuries to his foes with no mercy. Due to this, hardly anyone like him as he entered the building to sign up as the others noticeably give him a wide berth due to their dislike towards him.

And the 7th contender is none other than the esteemed fiance of the prince, Cordelia Cramoisi with her Daton, Hera. They get out of her crimson car to the cheers of the public as they chant her name. She knows a lot rides on her winning this for the sake of her family's honor and to win Chrom's hand in marriage.(Not that she really need this, but it's all n her head..) As she entered the building and see everyone there...she knows that she will crush them all to win and bring pride and honor to Archanea against those filthy Nohrians...

"I see we have quite the assortment of rivals here..." She speaks up as she approaches them all while on her way to sign up and look among them. "From House Fraldaruius, Gautier, Hresvelg, and Hale..." The last name she speaks with veiled hatred due to her believing those rumors to be true. "I'm quite shocked you would show yourself for this prestigious tourney...." "Heh...I was told by my grandfather of this tourney to come and win it ..." He place a hand on his monster, a Kato named Lagoon. "Me being Chrom's partner doesn't matter much to me."

"...Prince Chrom to you, Adam.." She growls with Hera baring her fangs at Lagoon. "Whoa, whoa, whoa..." Sylvain walk between them to diffuse the problem "We aren't hear to trade blows yet, We can save that for the tourney right?" Adam scoff before smearing at him "Fine, I can wait to crush her along with everyone else here, Lower rank or not.." Here, Rhiannon leans towards Edelgard and whispers "Craaaaawling in my skiiiiiiin...." Getting a chuckle from her. "Don't underestimate me or Felix just cause we're not Rank C...We both been training hard for this tourney together." "Then you will simply lose together before me.." He responds back to Sylvain with a scowl and walk off..

"So..." Felix speaks up "We're only at 7 here...Who's gonna be the eighth trainer?" Cherche nods as she stands next to Felix, getting him to blush with Mercial rolling his eyes at his trainer as she speaks up "I suppose we could see Lorenz..." "That would not be happening today, Miss Lurkinson." Ferdinand answers her with a smile "Mister Gloucster have some noble matters to attend to and couldn't sign up._ "Ah, that's a shame..." She turn to Felix with a smile "Oh well, that would just mean one less hurdle for one of us, right Felix?" "Yeeah.."

Felix mumbles with Sylvain smiling at his friend, knowing of his feelings towards Cherche and hoping for the best for the two of them. "Well...who could it be then?"

The doors open up suddenly as Jalen and Marth stroll inside of the building to the various expressions of everyone, most of all Cordelia's angered look and Adam's look of sheer fear and anger. Jalen merely look at them all with his hands in his pockets and walk to the counter and wrote his name with Marth's besides his. He place the pin back down and turn to them all with a scowl.

"Well...I'm in this now, so you can all argue on who is gonna take 2nd now."He begin to walk towards the exit."If you have any complaints, feel free to take it all with Marth right before he Power Geyser your monster to kingdom come tomorrow in the ring..."

"HOLD IT!" Cordelia shout at him, getting a sigh from Jalen who really didn't wanna deal with this as she walk to him as she get in front of him. "WHY...are you of ALL people here?" Jalen gave her a hard stare.... "...For my own personal reasons...now excuse me..." And he tries to move around her, but she step in his general direction to stop him. "Do you even know the prize for winning this?!?" Jalen muses to himself that she is just like her daughter only that she's more aggressive towards him while Severa seems more scared of him. "...I know all that comes with winning this..."

"Jalen..." Edelgard speaks up to him as he turn his head to glance at her.

"...Yo..." Edelgard nods at him with a calm look as if she wanted to ask him something, but shook her head. "...No, now's not the time to ask you that..I'll speak to you tomorrow about it." Jalen raise an eyebrow at her, wondering what she was gonna say before shrugging and trying to walk out as Cordelia and Hera still stay in front of him and Marth, annoying him greatly now.

"(...Goddamnit, why does she and her daughter make me mad so much...)" "Can you please move?..."
Cordelia just glares at him with hatred before slowly stepping aside, but not before muttering to him as he pass by. "You will not dirty the honor of Archanea and risk us losing to Nohr, you bastard..." ".....You know..." Jalen turn his head slightly towards her, making shivers run up Cordelia's spine at how icy cold his eyes are underneath his hat as his face is hidden behind his jacket collar. "...I was gonna go easy in terms of not trying to hurt your Daton...but I just remembered our previous encounter...You're dead to me."

And he walk off with Marth behind him....Leaving Cordelia shaking with both fear and anger.. "(Damnit, there's just something about him that makes me filled with all negative feelings....I can't lose to him..I will make sure that he won't be the champ here!!)"
"Man, Cordelia does NOT like him.." Rin leans in to Edelgard who the latter rubs her chin in thought.. "You don't think she's...racist, right?" Rin shrugs.. "Your guess is as good as mines..I wouldn't see her as a racist tho...She probably just don't like how he won't bend over for her due to who or what she is, ya know? Much like me..." Her lover nods at this, knowing how Cordelia can be at times.. "Still.." Rin smirks as she rubs her thighs.. "How he just walked in here with such confidence can make a woman wet or hard..." Edelgard palms her face...

"...I won't deny those claims...But there was something far more important I wanted to ask him.." Rin notices how serious she sounds and knows what she meant as she answers her. "...You mean what Kana...or our son told us..."

"...Yeah..."
The 2 ladies head on out of the building holding hands with Aymr behind them with Edelgard wearing a puzzled look.. "..Should had known he was our kid considering how tight his bootyhole was..."

Meanwhile, Adam is busy coming down from his panic attack out of sight of everyone...Seeing the son of one of his great-uncles was NOT on his agenda for the day. He had to tell his grandfather who he saw today...Or else this could be a spanner in the works for their plans...
