  1. Immigration, Youth, and Education is an article written by Session S. Oh and North Coco. The article goes into details that I will lightly touch in this summary. The paper is written by a Doctoral Candidate at Harvard University. This article explains and displays strong topics while using exquisite grammatical structure and vocabulary.

  3. Immigration, Youth and Education goes on in heavy detail about immigrants pertaining mainly to schooling and working in the United States as undocumented citizens of the country, while doing so it gives facts that should be known. In paragraph four, Session goes on to explain some statistics of public schooling around the country. Public schools in California stand at about 49% Immigrant students, while New York City public schools consist of about 60% immigrants. Another section of the article that caught my eye was "Children of immigrants represent about 25 percent of all American children and are projected to make up one-third of the more than 100 million U.S. children by 2050."

  5. A few more facts that I picked out to give you a better understanding of the article in full would be some like: More than 5 million children live in a mixed home where one or both parents are unauthorized to live and or work in the United States. Immigrant Children count for nearly the entire growth of children in the United States. Immigrant Children are the fastest growing segment of the US population.

  7. The article goes on to explain how Immigrants can have a positive impact on schools. Session explains how undocumented immigrants can be very successful and hard working. In short Session explains how immigrant children begin to "Americanize" while still holding onto their ethnic backgrounds and cultural differences.

  9. I enjoyed reading and writing about this article because of a few points I've already brought up in the previous paragraph, one of which being the grammatical structure and another being the strong vocabulary, I also enjoyed the topic. Undocumented Immigrants in the United States is a very "Touchy" subject that needs to be brought to the attention of the people. In this article, not only did Session bring the topic to attention but she addressed it properly.
