The Jade Emperor Sutra (Part 3 Translated)

At that time, the Jade Void God said to His Holiness in the day: "May I have compassion, and may I speak for the four emperors, the four kings of heaven, all the heavenly beings, all the immortals, and all future beings who hold this sutra, for their benefit.

At that time, the Heavenly Father said to the Jade Void God: "This is a good question, isn't it? You are compassionate and merciful to the beings, so please ask me. The Heavenly Father said: If there is an infinite land in the three worlds and ten directions, and the king and ministers, or war, epidemic, drought, insects and locusts, famine, is the king, consort, prince, governor, ministers, compassion, for their people, all the states and counties in the town, so that the flow of pure and strict in their view, set up a large jiao, six times to perform, in order to turn this sutra, the land will be clear, the grain is abundant, the people are safe and secure. If someone goes into the mountains and forests and encounters poisonous beasts, but he can think of the sutra, the mountain gods will protect him and the beasts will retreat and will not harm him. If one enters a river or a sea, and is seeking treasures, and is caught in a bad wind, and if one holds this sutra in mind, the wind and waves will cease, and he will reach the shore in peace. If you are in a battlefield, when the sword and the spear meet and the two blades clash, meditate on this sutra, and all the villains will retreat. If you are in a prison, in shackles, but have a pure mind and meditate on the sutra, you will be relieved of your wrongdoing. If you are suffering from evil spirits, ghosts and thieves, if you hold this sutra in your mind, you will be able to avoid the evil spirits and be cured. If a person who wants to have an heir, respects the law and recites this sutra, the emperor will instruct the celestial cao to examine the dan registry, and within the nine grades, the four fruits of immortality, in response to the number of the operation, will descend to the next life, to be his son, talent and wisdom, and is honored among people. If a woman recites this sutra in the month of distress, she will have a safe mother and child, and a man and a woman of good fortune, and will be loved and respected by all. If a person wishes to be promoted to an official position, to be honored with a high rank, or to meet a ruler, if he or she recites this sutra, he or she will be transferred to another position, and his or her descendants will be honored and prosperous for many generations. If you wish to be rich and wealthy, if you hold this sutra in faith, you will be blessed with wealth, natural food and clothing, and your descendants will be blessed for many generations. If a person is illuminated by the evil stars and is in distress, if he holds this sutra in faith, the evil stars will return to him. If a person's life is over, he or she should be sent to hell, and the name of the evil registry, parents, teachers, husbands and wives should recite the sutra for the deceased, or place the sutra in a place of worship, and offer pennants and flowers to the deceased, then the ghost registry of the deceased will be removed, and the gods will be born in the Pure Land, and all the suffering and sinful people will be protected, and they will all be born in heaven. In addition, where this sutra is located, there are always the ten heavenly supreme saints and the king of the flying gods to serve. He who holds this sutra will be able to call himself the True One. When he is there, he will be protected by the Ten Supreme Sages and the Vajra Rexes as if he were protecting himself. If he goes out or enters, he can avoid all evil spirits, eliminate devils, and hide spirits, and all disasters cannot come near him. When the bearer of the sutra is about to die, he will not see any evil appearance in hell, but will see all the jade maidens in the heavenly palace coming down to welcome him, and he will be born in heaven. When the blessings of heaven are over, he descends into the world of the living, where he is always celebrated by kings, ministers, and sages in a thousand or ten thousand lifetimes, where the land is peaceful and the people are happy, where he always has a clear understanding of his predestined nature, where he follows the Way, and where he practices and attains the path of the Way. This is how the holder of the sutra is blessed. If a holder of this sutra, when it rains, has great compassion, and recites this sutra three times to the air, the rain will fall on all beings, the five vices and ten evils, and all serious sins, and all serious diseases will be cured. All sentient beings, after the end of their lives, do not fall into hell, God is born in the Pure Land, the lotus flower is born, not to mention the holder of this sutra. And if there is a holder of this sutra, if walking on the road, when the wind blows, is the holder of the sutra touching the dust, is the dust of the dust, all sentient beings all the evil karma is destroyed, and will not fall into the three evil paths, will be born in heaven. Therefore, the merits of holding the sutra, can not be imagined. If the bearer of the sutra bathes his body in the river or in the sea, it is the water that is covered by the sutra, and all the sins of the beings therein, the fish and turtle, and all the aquatic beings, are all eliminated. After this body of one reward, he will not be subjected to any wet body such as birth and egg after his life is over. When the holder of the sutra speaks all languages, good or bad, and all the demons and devils hear them, they are all pure Dharma sounds. If the holder of the sutra is able to recite the sutra to the gods in their temples, the ghosts and goddesses who hear the sutra are freed from ghosts and become immortal, and respect the holder as if he were the emperor. If a person who is not filial to his parents, does not respect the Three Jewels, kills, steals, commits all kinds of evil deeds, and makes all sorts of delusions, when he is about to die, if there is a person who is righteous and has faith, when the deceased is still alive, he will recite the name of the emperor at his head with great compassion, or one, two, seven, three, seven, four, seven, or even a hundred or a thousand times, all the bad deeds that the deceased had done before he was born will be destroyed, and he will not fall into all the evil spheres, and the gods will ascend to the nine heavens, not to mention the person who holds this sutra. If a person who has been in the past and is now in the present life, who has been in the world, and who has accumulated a thousand sins and sins in his own body, if he meets this sutra-bearer and his shadow is reflected in his body for a moment, and he is received by the light of the emperor, or he speaks with him, or he hears his voice, and he is consoled by the words of the emperor, or by the words of the Tao, his sins and sins are forever removed. And if the bearer of this sutra makes a long pennant, and writes the name of the emperor on it, and hangs it from a long pole, either in a building or in a home, and the pennant is blown by all the winds, and all the beings on whose side it is carried, all the sentient beings are victorious, and all their evil deeds are destroyed. And if there is a bearer of the sutra who writes the emperor's name on all sounding objects, or bells or chimes, or bells and cymbals, or all props and objects of the Dharma, or by the dojo, or by the play, or by the wind, when the sound comes out, far or near, all sentient beings, hearing the sound, are cleansed of all sins. And if there is a person who holds this sutra, realize the life and death, deep into the mountains and forests, practice the truth, or time to ascend, up the mountain to look at, as far as the eye can see, mountains, forests, streams and valleys, including the birth of species, form and formless, fetal eggs, wet, moving and planting, flying and diving, all kinds of categories, all the sins, forever get rid of, body and soul, pure, the end of life in heaven, not to mention the person who holds this sutra. I know that this person is the Daoist Buddha, the body of merit and virtue.

Then the Heavenly Father said to the Jade Void God, "I have spoken briefly, but I have not exhausted its wonders. If I explain it widely, all the evil people will be confused and disbelieved. The merits and virtues of this sutra are too great to be described. At that time, when God of Jade Void heard this, he was overjoyed and overwhelmed with joy, looked up to the face of mercy, bowed his head in praise, and said

Above the nine heavens is called the great sky, the jade capital and the golden palace, with its lofty clouds. In the middle is the Emperor of Heaven, benevolent and beneficent. He is invincible and subdues all demons. There is a heavenly treasure, a spiritual talisman, a jade law, a golden rule, hundreds of thousands of immortals, and many pennants. Those who hear of it will have their sins vanquished and be released from the river of love forever. This is the Jade Emperor, the true old man of the firmament, the pure and pure, the wise and eloquent, the supreme being, the teacher of the three worlds, the ancestor of the mixed elements, the master of the invincible, the father of the four living beings, the saint of the high heavens, the great benevolent one, the ten fullnesses, the ten virtues all around the body. He is an immeasurable person, who can remove the suffering of birth and death.

Then the Jade Hollow God said this chant and the Ten Trumpets, and all the celestial beings spoke with one voice and sighed.
