  1. The Legend of Zelda: Breath of The Wild All Main Quest FAQ
  2.
  3. Q: What are you trying to do?
  4. A: Finish every single Main Quest in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of The Wild as fast as possible
  5.
  6. Q: How do you do that exactly?
  7. A: All main quest basically includes the following. Beat all Divine Beast, get all the Memories, grab the Master Sword, and beating Ganon.
  8.
  9. Q: Why do you have to do shrines?
  10. A: Every 4 shrines basically gives me a heart container. We need a total of 13 hearts in order to be able to successfully pull out the Master Sword. Since we only get 4 heart containers total from the Divine Beast we fight along the way, we have to do about 24 total shrines in order to meet the requirements for the Master Sword.
  11.
  12. Q: How many memories are there in total?
  13. A: 13
  14.
  15. Q: What are you playing this on?
  16. A: I'm playing on my Nintendo Switch.
  17.
  18. Q: What is the fastest version of the game?
  19. A: The virtual console Wii U version has the fastest loading time.
  20.
  21. Q: Then why are you playing on the Switch?
  22. A: I don't own the Wii U version of the game.
  23.
  24. Q: Why are you playing in a language other than English?
  25. A: English is the slowest language.
  26.
  27. Q: What is the fastest Language?
  28. A: German is the language with the fastest voice acting, saving 13 seconds over the English version.
  29.
  30. Q: Why are some of the shrine split images blue and some red?
  31. A: Red shrine images mean I need to do certain movement to beat the shrine, blue shrine images mean I need to do a puzzle.
  32.
  33. Q: What are some of your split images chest?
  34. A: That's usually a shrine I need to do along the way. I use the chest image to remind me to grab whatever chest is in that shrine.
  35.
  36. Q: Are Amiibo allowed on this run?
  37. A: Yes! I won't be using one though.
  38.
  39. Q: Why aren't you using Amiibo?
  40. A: I'm definitely open to the idea, but I'd rather just be able to run the game without having to have a pile of toys or cards on my desk. It's also a pretty different route I'd have to learn as well.
  41.
  42. Q: Is Amiibo really that different from Amiiboless
  43. A: You would be surprised. Getting instant access to launches and horses makes a huge difference. The routes are very different cause of that.
  44.
  45. Q: Why do you keep whistling while you run?
  46. A: Since we have to deal with a stamina bar in this game, we use a thing called "whistle sprinting". Basically we hold the whistle button while mashing the sprint button until our stamina bar fills back up to run as fast as possible.
  47.
  48. Q: How are you not taking damage from some of these huge falls?
  49. A: The glitch we use for this is called "fall damage prevention". While falling you need to go into the throwing weapon animation, let go of your weapon slightly before you hit the ground, then unequip your weapon before you throw it all the way. If timed properly you end up not taking fall damage.
  50.
  51. Q: Can this be done with any weapon?
  52. A: If timed properly it can be done with any Melee weapon.
  53.
  54. Q: How are you doing these crazy flips around the horse and refilling your horses stamina?
  55. A: 1. Get on your horse, start holding the ZL button.
  56. 2. Hold the ZR Button to pull out your bow.
  57. 3. Tap X then IMMEDIATELY press the A button in that order.
  58. Doing this basically gives you infinite stamina with the horse if done properly.
  59.
  60. Q: Do you plan to run any other categories?
  61. A: ALL OF THEM
  62.
  63. Q: Do you fight Ganon at all?
  64. A: Yes! That is one of the main quest we must complete in the run.
