Shemm (bio)

Bio: Shemm was always a problem with her parents and especially with authority. She was always deemed as a “troublemaker”, constantly causing mischief and crime around the city Stealing, getting into fights, etc. Her parents never seemed to care much for it anyway, as they tended to neglect Shemm, which was part of the reason why she would always come home late, she couldn’t stand being in a house with people who didn’t even care for her enough to even say ‘I love you.’ But at least it made it easy for her to hide a secret that she shares with only her best friend, Jem. Every day, they would make some new scheme that would help benefit themselves. They’d steal occasionally from the markets, with Jem providing Shemm escape routes and places where she wouldn’t get caught and with Shemm, being quick on her feet, was a natural with quickly swiping things without even being noticed, but if she were to ever get caught by patrol, she would simply skate away to a safe spot where they wouldn’t find her, as she was very nimble. Always using the crowds and their small looks to their advantage, gaining a good amount of funds for them to freely spend, as not even their parents would care enough for them to give them proper cash. This continued on as normal until one day, Jem pulled Shemm aside and told her about atma and how you can use its power to benefit yourself. After a talking to, Shemm was instantly sold on the idea of having some power. While Shemm wasn’t necessarily the smartest person around, she was certainly a quick learner. They spent months of trying to unlock her atmas potential. With Shemm not backing down, she continued on, even if she tended to become very frustrated at times. Eventually, she finally unlocked her atma after many countless months. A few days after unlocking her atma, Shemm went on a huge crime spree around the city, gathering up as many supplies for her and Jem, she always made sure to never steal from poor people as she still had some morality for others. After she declared her spree finally over, she confronted Jem and announced that it is time that they finally ran away from this city and to start a new life. It took a little convincing, but Jem agreed with Shemm’s plan. Joyed, they set off away from the city in search of somewhere better that they could call home, and with her new atma ability and Jem’s cunning and smarts, the two felt like they could take on the whole second-world.
