-
Appearance: The typical jock, Marcus can usually be found lounging about in sweatpants and hoodies while at home. When he’s at school, his uniform is neatly ironed, and tie done up in a full Windsor Knot. He has one green eye, one brown, and longish dirty blonde hair which hands to past his jaw. He regularly trims it to keep it at that length and ties it back in a man bun when he’s at quidditch.[reducio][/reducio]
-
Personality: He tends to be really aggressive when it comes to sports, and is the kinda guy to blatantly take charge and fight for the leadership position. He has a bit of an issue with sportsmanship, and when he thinks he’s been wronged, he isn’t afraid to speak up about it. Loudly. Despite all this, he is also that one person who gets all his work done in a group project way before the deadline, and flaunts good grades. Yes, unpleasant. But he’s also got some really good qualities. Because of his rather reckless attitude, you’ll have him diving off cliffs or swimming at the bottom of the lake to get your necklace.
- Marcus grew up in a pureblood family, who viewed everything as a competition. For this reason, Marcus now looks at everything as if it is a challenge, going above and beyond to prove he is better than those around him. His family was anything but nurturing, playing favorites with every chance they got and being brutally honest about it. Every flaw in himself and his siblings was exposed, and they were often belittled and humiliated when they made a mistake. His parents were there for him only when he came out on top, saying things such as "You're not our son" when he had an actual problem. None were very physically affectionate, so Marcus will melt if someone gives him a hug or a compliment. Because he was pushed away for a majority of his life unless he could be used as a means to climb the social ladder, whenever someone talks to him for no other reason then the want to be around him and simply enjoying his presence, he tends to cling to that person.[/reducio]

Broken Broomshaft- Ability Application:
- [reducio]
Note Sorry for rushed writing, I promise it will get better :) I think that's a bit over 400 words!
- Marcus had grown up spurrounded by his brothers, and that only meant one thing. When fights got ugly, stuff got broken. His parents, rather than warning him to tone down the aggression, had stoked it, throwing in sarcastic quips regarding his physique and mental capabilities, comparing him to his brothers and friends. "Why can't you be more like your brother?" his mom had asked him whenever he messed up. Over the years, these little comments had all added up. Rather than acting up in class or standing up to his parents, Marcus had learned to channel that energy during quidditch. He'd quickly rose through the ranks of his hometown's team, becoming their top beater. Marcus was ruthless in the field, knocking players off their brooms back and forth, and being more focused on stopping the other team, than advancing his own to the win.
- And then came that day. He'd just gotten into a fight with his brother, something about borrowing broom kits without permission, even though the said brother hadn't gotten on a broom in years, and was coped up inside with his nose stuffed deep in a book, lenses of his glasses so thick a bullet would have bounced right off (so really, Atticus should have kept his nerdy little mouth shut). Smoke still coming out his ears, Marcus had thrown himself onto his broom, and launched himself up, to where the other players were waiting for him. He was always stylishly late, which had annoyed his team captain beyond reason.
- He didn't know what had happened. One minute he was in a wrestling match of sorts with the beater from the opposite team, the next he was plummeting twenty feet in the air, to get caught by his older sister. "Watch it, looser," she'd hissed, dropping him off back on his own broom. Marcus had caught sight of the beater who'd knocked him off, something which hadn't happened since the first month he'd started playing quidditch. And he saw red.
- Flying to him at a breakneck speed, their brooms collided, rage blinding him to any consequences which would come along with his actions. Because he was Marcus Stephan Freaking Reynolds, and he wouldn't go down without a fight. Or at all. Wooden chips had flown in all directions, exploding from the other beater's broom, embedding themselves into their skin, as the beater fell. The broom followed, shattered. Cheers erupted from the parents of his team, and somewhere along the back row, his parents smiled. Yeah. That's who'd they'd raised.[/reducio]
