Right Click to Necromance is a free action video game wherein you can resurrect your very own undead army. Developed by Juicy Beast, this 2D indie game is a hack-n-slash real-time strategy game that features controlling an army in a top-down view.
Similar to Wild Tamer, Right Click to Necromance is all about directing numerous units as one body. It was made for the Indie Speed Run 2015 game jam in under 48 hours, though, so it doesn’t have much else going for it. It could use more features, such as a settings menu to adjust your graphical performance.
What is Right Click to Necromance?
In Right Click to Necromance, you play as a necromancer general who can resurrect fallen enemy soldiers to add to your army. Your goal is to grow this army by defeating other squadrons and integrating their corpses among your units. When you first start off, you’re immediately placed on a map with enemies roaming about. You have five soldiers at first and you must fight against enemy groups whose numbers are lower than five in order to beat them. Otherwise, you’ll be the one who’s killed.
The controls are pretty simple since they tend to flash on the screen for your convenience. You have to press and hold the left mouse button and drag it in the direction you want to move your army. When it collides with an enemy group, they automatically battle. Once you’ve defeated them, you must right-click in order to “consume” them. You need to keep doing this in order to become powerful enough to defeat the solo boss enemies—who are obvious in how much bigger their character sprites are.
They don’t stay dead for long
However, for all its ease in controls, the game can be unfairly difficult in a number of ways—and many of them aren’t good. For one, the map you spawn in is just teeming with enemies who keep going in random directions. The area is small and they tend to group up with another team, adding to their numbers—and making it hard to you to approach. Sometimes, several of them collide together and form an army much more powerful than yours even during the first few seconds of your playthrough.
The sheer number of enemies means that they’ll keep growing so you have something to challenge—and generating all of this can get your PC struggling to run. Additionally, there are hardly any settings to help you mitigate it. You can only start another round or exit the game entirely. It would have been nice to be able to set a difficulty level in Right Click to Necromance or limit to the spawn rate of enemies so that your game won’t crash.
Has a lot of potential
All in all, Right Click to Necromance is a great little RTS game that operates on the mechanics of being a necromancer with a lot of potential recruits. While the game itself feels unfinished, it still provides solid gameplay that challenges you to keep trying to see how far you can go with your ragtag group of soldiers. Just take note that it has performance issues sometimes.

Right click to Necromance is one of those games that is so much fun there is really not much you can write about other than filling up the page with the words “play it now” written in capital letters over and over again also partially because it is so simple yet so easy to jump in and play at any time it’s quite hard to write something particularly descriptive about it but here goes.
Right click to Necromance is a simple game it’s actually strangely reminiscent of another Rocky Bytes favorite Agar.io (http://www.rockybytes.com/agar-io) but the difference is rather than being a ball of mass expanding in size you are an army that expands in size but only when you are victorious in battle and this is where the tactics come in, just like in real life you must pick your battles wisely, if your army consists of four soldiers then don’t go challenging an army of twenty because you will lose and die and have to start again, as your army grows and you recruit skeleton wizards and trolls to your supernatural army you will be able to take on and win against other large and well-formed armies. It's very easy to while away the time playing this and watching your army grow, it's a shame sometimes that it isn't more challenging some times however the pure simplicity of the game and how is easy it is to pick it up and get started has to be one of the great drawing factors. Don't try to play this one on a five minute coffee break though because you probably will end up playing it for the rest of the day. It's hard to describe why Right click to Necromance is just so addictive it should become some what repetitive after a while but for some reason raising and maintaining a zombie army never ever gets boring!
The game is great fun and the cartoon like graphics are very nicely done the biggest flaw is it can be a little easy at times and also when you do have a huge army the screen space does not allow you too much room for maneuver, another thing that would have been nice would be a name above the army so that you can become familiar with other regular players names (oh and a chat box would have been great also) and it is in these areas where Right click to Necromancer shows a few weaknesses however with a few tweaks this could be an outstanding game but then it is free and it is a lot of fun, we would highly recommend you play it.

Right Click to Necromance is a free game for Windows from developer Juicy Beast. The game makes you fight supernatural armies. You raise an army of undead soldiers by right-clicking on the corpses of deceased enemy troops.
Additionally, randomly generated AI-powered armies prowl the barren landscape. They have the same goal that you do, so while you try to grow your own ranks, you need to protect your units. For alternative options, check out Medieval and Stronghold 2.
Gameplay
Your goal is to evade armies that are more powerful than your own as you maraud around the terrain looking for victories. It doesn’t become boring though; sometimes weaker armies run away from you while others may rise to your challenge. You must click and hold the left mouse button to steer your army.
Similarly, more powerful groups will come at you when you’re already in a skirmish—that makes it tough to survive. These are great gameplay mechanics because dodging hostile armies helps to build tension. It's also worth noting that you can't revive enemy troops until every combatant in their unit is dead. Although it doesn't take too long to rebuild your army when it suffers losses, there’s no option to save your progress, which is disappointing.

Although it's a browser-only game, some browsers will let you install the page as an app when using desktop operating systems. If you prefer an app-like experience on your desktop computer or laptop, this could be a good option.
Our take
Right Click to Necromance is clearly not a finished game, which is reasonable given its origins. Some improvements we’d like to see include a health bar to show the current battle-worthiness of your army. Another nice touch would be the inclusion of a save function so you wouldn’t have to start fresh whenever you return to the game.
Our main criticism is that the AI doesn't seem too intelligent. There's no tactical element to the game so your troops simply attack the nearest enemy. Having said all that, it’s still an incredibly addictive game.
