1] It’s thanksgiving and Captain Kirk is completely not looking for ward to it but y/c loves it and tries to make the Captain enjoy thanksgiving again.

2] After Jim’s death to save the crew, Jim can barely function. He has PTSD and just clings to y/c without knowing. Perhaps an alien invasion happens on board and Jim makes sure to protect y/c but it’s actually the other way around.

3] The crew is exposed to some alien virus that limits self control.

4] Y/c and Jim go to a diplomatic dinner together. Both of them realize how hot each other look without being in uniforms. They have some ‘alone’ time in someone’s office. Then they try to escape the horrid dinner together.

5] Y/c and Jim get drunk which leads to poorly drunken decisions between the two. They keep dodging each other after what happened with the Romulan ale but they really need to talk about it.

6] Stuck in an alien prison.

7] Forbidden, secret love.

8] both were so tired that uniforms got mixed up.

9] Christmas time. Everyone doesn’t seem to like it but Jim is all for it. He decorates the ship, and goes overboard.

10] Y/c and Jim are already dating. They have an argument at the bridge and Jim relieves y/c of their duties for the day. That night, he goes to apologize but y/c is done.

11] Y/c is sick/hurt so Kirk decides to take care of y/c since they hate the medbay. Or Kirk is sick/hurt and tries to avoid y/c at all costs.

12] Kirk gets jealous when someone else flirts with y/c. So he makes sure the person that flirts with y/c is watching while he kisses y/c for the first time.

13] The Captain flirts  and teases with y/c a lot. Everyone scowls and scorns at Kirk because they think he just wants to get into y/c’s pants but then he confesses his true feelings for y/c.

14] Y/c and Jim have a heart to heart about Jim’s insecurities and his dad.

15] Jim and y/c get kidnapped by some aliens  who wants to experiment on humans. Y/c gets placed on Jim’s lap and they get tied up together. They must form a plan and try to escape.

16] Y/c gets injured pretty bad on a mission and almost dies. Kirk breaks down and confesses his love to Y/c, but they don’t know how to react. Jim gets too over protective over y/c when they have missions and gets pretty obsessive about y/c not dying.

17] Kirk secretly wishes they were dead. They are depressed and have suicidal thoughts. It doesn't help with the PTSD. They like to take the edge off by arguing with Y/c and going on missions with that person, in which results in Kirk behaving impulsively and with self destruction. Y/c has had enough and wants it to stop or they are through.

18] Y/c and Jim run off somewhere to hide out as outlaws on some alien planet that the ship crashed into.

19] The Enterprise has crash landed and y/c and Jim go around trying to find survivors of the Enterprise. Thing is, Jim is secretly wounded and doesn’t tell y/c about it.

20] Y/c or Jim sleepwalks. The other not sure what to do about it.

21] One of them or both, is dealing with a psychotic break.

22] Y/c or Jim, possibly both,  develops a bad habit.

23] One of them, or all, has an illness & keeps it a secret. (Mental illness, addiction, chronic illness, or cancer, etc)

24] Some kind of new virus hits the captain and crewman. The virus acts as an emotional one. People have the same memories but act without a mask. People are rude when they should not be, love confessions are spilled, etc. The shocker however is Kirk flinching at people’s touches and yelling.  Everyone expects him to be more flirty and macho man material but he is the opposite. He is shy, not confident and voices self disgust. Y/c tries to understand what’s going on with kirk while also trying to get a hold of their own problems.

25] AU where Kirk is mentally ill. Starfleet, the Enterprise, etc is everything his mind made up to cope. Y/c is his doctor.
They fall in love but it’s forbidden because doctors and patients aren’t supposed to love each other.
Or, they could both be patients. Y/c building off of Kirk’s fantasy so together they live it out.

26] Something canon-esque.


27] Kirk is kidnapped and tortured. Is gone for a year. He randomly shows up on the Enterprise. When he comes back, he isn’t exactly himself.

28]- Y/c has been acting offish lately, and Jim must figure out what's wrong with them since they won’t really talk about it.

29]-Something centered around TOS or Mirror-verse.

30]- Y/C notices that they are becoming a distraction to one another. They need to talk about it.
