Balantes works as a emissary and diplomat for the recently founded and developing country known as The Woolen Nation. Due to it's relatively new government being established, she was recruited to make connections in other nations, especially Equestria, due to it's size and fame. She was sent to Equestria for two years, and is still trying to get used to the life style. Often she joins adventuring parties, exchanging her knowledge for their muscle.
