- The teachings of the Church of world messianity that I think were good and that I think should be kept even after you leave the cult and became an atheist.
- these come from the book "the foundation of paradise":
- Not making a decision of any kind until we are sure of it being right.("The IzuNoMe principle")
- eating healthy food. (most Japanese food is healthy)
- Never borrowing or lending money. you can get into trouble with people by lending money
- and later finding out they never intended to give it back.
- Do good deeds in every opportunity. Be charitable.(why not do it if you can?)
- "do everything in moderation" ("Nandemo Hodohodo ni")
- "be flexible"
- "be tactful"
- "take the good from everything and let go of the bad of everything"
- Note: most other things I found to be bad to oneself, like being against medical treatment. and being "grateful" for everything(which is impossible) in general I think most other teaching were bad.
