To play in English you'll need a Japanese VPN to open DMM store and create your account, I used Softether vpn gate for free.

Then open up the launcher, go to the top right then switch from DMM to Fanza and search for モンスター娘TD, the first is likely the web browser version while the second (with ダウンロード underneath) is the pc download which we want
Open up the game once and get to the Volume warning screen then close the game.
Download Bepinex X64 (IL2CPP)and Bepinex auto translate (IL2CPP)

Next we place both Bepinex into your mmms_td_r18 folder, found in your main directory next to documents and download folders on windows
For example C:\Users\Me\mnms_td_r18\
Extract Bepinex first, then the auto translate and make sure that the Bepinex folder is directly inside making it look like this
C:\Users\Me\mnms_td_r18\BepInEx\
Place the core, patchers and plugins folders from the auto translate inside the Bepinex folder
Open up the game and get to the Volume warning screen then close the game
For a good translation instead of a broken AI one, go to the following link and copy all (ctrl a then ctrl c), next paste it in _AutoGeneratedTranslations making sure you're overwriting or deleting the contents beforehand

*Note that this will give you the UI translated only and stories translated in the log only(which requires right clicking every couple of seconds), to get the stories translated properly you can use Lunatranslator alongside bepinex

You need to open up the game, then in luna go to settings, core settings, hook settings, select game and choose MonmusuTD.exe
Next open up any scene, then select text in luna settings (the option beside select game). Now you need to find the text hook, and set it to "show", you may also want to select "embed" and also go to the embedded translation setting and then select "clear text displayed in game"
Next go to text processing and "filter angle brackets"
