1. EQG1:
2. The first movie was terrible and needed a complete makeover so this is a lot of posts.
3. >The crown went through the portal and landed at the prestigious school of Crystal Prep academy.
4. >One of the after school athletes picked it up, and they examine it to determine that it's probably worth a good amount of money with all of that gold, but they turn it into the Principal's office because cameras everywhere and they don't want to get arrested, which would ruin their reputation.
5. >Now Principal Cinch has possession of the crown/tiara/whatever and locks it up.
6. >Sunset, who had gone in after the crown arrives at Crystal Prep.
7. >She can barely stand on her feet, legs shaking and voice breaking.
8. >It must be in that really huge crystal building right there, she can see the glow of the crown through one of the windows because you know damn well the EQG staff writers would do something plot-convenient like this at some point, admit it.
9. >But it doesn't matter and isn't too too convenient.
10. >So Sunset knows about the magic artifact being in Crystal Prep but can't do anything about it.
11. >Crystal Prep aims for perfection, and they're not as accepting as Canterlot High, so Sunset can't even be in the school for long without being escorted out.
12. >And she has trouble standing upright like a regular person, having lots of issues trying not to walk like a pony.
13. >Gets tons of weird looks just like Starlight and Twilight did.
14. >And the Crystal Prep students frown down upon this greatly, telling her to get lost or maybe go to the lesser school known as CHS.
15. >But Sunset wants the crown/tiara, and she's too stubborn to give up on retrieving it, but she has no way of taking it.
16. >But Sunset did notice a student at the school who looks suspiciously like Twilight, but only for a second before she was thrown outta there.
17. >And later on, pony Twilight comes through the portal, but not after a long enough time skip for Sunset to have been there for years like the real movie because that garbage was stupid.
18. >Twilight sees the same convenient glow in the window like Sunset had but also can't do anything about it.
19. >It's not long before she finds Sunset Shimmer once more, ready to fight her, but discovers that Sunset has found literally no success in getting even remotely close to the crown.
20. >Sunset has recently become a student of the nearby school Canterlot High, and she has "befriended" the rest of the humane six whom she's only using to rise through the ranks and make it to the next Friendship Games competition so she can maybe find a way to get to that crown.
21. >Maybe she'll transfer schools once she gets enough good grades, but nowhere near enough time has passed yet for that to happen.
22. >Meanwhile, Twilight soon learns about her human counterpart attending Crystal Prep, and approaches her one night when she's walking home.
23. >SciTwi is dazed and confused by this; some girl who looks identically like her approaching her in the middle of the night and talking to her about magic n' stuff.
24. >HorseTwi says there is a magic artifact in the school that neither she nor her enemy who got to here can get to, but at least she can pretend to be SciTwi and get into the school and retrieve the magic artifact to return it to Equestria before it causes any problems in human world.
25. >Or better yet, she tells SciTwi that she herself can just go in herself and get it, which is where SciTwi reveals to HorseTwi that she's the top student in the whole school.
26. >Which is great except for the one tiny detail that SciTwi is unwilling to ruin her reputation as such by stealing from school property.
27. >Meanwhile, HorseTwi is keeping an eye on Sunset, who appears to be making friends at Canterlot High.
28. >And her new "friends" look just like the mane six whom Twilight knows from back home; Sunset is stealing her life (kinda).
29. >So HorseTwi begs SciTwi to let her take her place in Crystal Prep pretending to be her just so she can see if there's a way to get to the crown easily, since she can get further than Sunset because of the convenient clone counterpart thing that works great with how the writers do things sometimes.
30. >SciTwi finally lets HorseTwi get into Crystal Prep without actually having to enroll there, and meanwhile, HorseTwi enrolls into Canterlot High to keep an eye on Sunset and the other mane six.
31. >Meanwhile, the two Spikes as dogs hang out together and have their cute dumb little gags while being basically useless because it's freaking Spike.
32. >On the days when HorseTwi is pretending to be SciTwi at Crystal Prep (they switch because HorseTwi wanted inside info and SciTwi wanted a break from Crystal Prep), she meets the Shadowbolt five, who are very nasty and cold to her in at least some way each.
33. >This shows that the "other mane six" (shadowbolts) here at Crystal Prep do not know anything that works with the magic of friendship, and they are terrible people because of it.
34. >And now Sunset is starting to turn the actual other mane six at CHS into something just like them, and she's succeeding.
35. >The humane six at CHS do not know Twilight and have no idea who she is until they recognize her as that super smart girl from the rival school, and they turn her away while Sunset panders to them saying that she's the real friend they need.
36. >This breaks Twilight's heart, and she is so distraught that she spends more time at Crystal Prep in the other Twilight's place as she tries to figure out what to do.
37. >SciTwi says that she has no idea why the girls at CHS hate her so much -- she only competes in the competitions because Cinch makes her and it's nothing personal for her.
38. >Neither Twilight wants any of this flak, and they agree to work together to get that crown so HorseTwi can go home after getting Sunset to screw off from her human friends and probably drag her back with her from this universe she doesn't belong in in the first place.
39. >She'll just have Sunset Answer to Celestia for her crimes, but she can't do it without the magic of the crown.
40. >SciTwi plans to transfer to CHS because she hates being at Crystal Prep anyway under Cinch's rule of an iron fist, which only motivates her to help HorseTwi even more.
41. >As a result, HorseTwi befriends the Shadowbolt Five while pretending to be SciTwi.
42. >She starts to get them to be nicer because she knows how to solve drama between them that SciTwi couldn't figure out.
43. >Now she's teaching the Shadow Five more about Friendship, and her (magical) charm is somewhat influencing this.
44. >SciTwi is happy that her peers are being nicer to her as a result after they switch back once more, but HorseTwi's main goal is to get Sunset away from the humane six at CHS and bring her back home to justice in Equestria, it's like some inter-dimensional bounty hunter type stuff.
45. >HorseTwi realizes that she still cares about her friends even if they have no history together, because the magic of friendship doesn't represent the fake friendship that Sunset's trying to use to get the humane six to like her.
46. >And that true friendship extends between world, and it's just waiting to spark up in this world too which is why it's starting to feel like this was meant to happen.
47. >Meanwhile, SciTwi is so fascinated by the idea of magic being actually real that she builds her device thing to collect and study it and see how it relates to science, but she does this in secrecy and doesn't tell HorseTwi.
48. >Some time later...
49. >Low and behold, the shiny crown/tiara is added to the shelf of Crystal Prep trophies by Cinch because she wants to make it look like her school won as many awards and trophies as she possibly can because reputation.
50. >And she has them on display at the now upcoming Friendship games where the two schools face off because she can't not show off.
51. >At this point, the humane six are basically Sunset's personal street gang who do almost everything for her.
52. >Sunset sees the crown on display at the games and plans to find a way to steal it when she has the best chance and become powerful.
53. >But it's on the Crystal Prep side (probably being lugged around in a wheeled shelf with all the other trophies to everywhere the competition goes).
54. >And to make matters worse, Crystal Prep is beating Canterlot High easily just like they do every year.
55. >SciTwi was too nervous to participate in the sports section of the games, but HorseTwi has been intensely learning how to move around like a human and stuff, and decides to add some archery to that too since she's taking other stuff in anyway.
56. >HorseTwi does the archery part of the tournament while SciTwi does the math and science that has less to do with magic than HorseTwi is used to.
57. >When SciTwi helps the Shadow Five win the tournament and make the humane six salty because they're losing badly like always, their bond of friendship strengthens.
58. >HorseTwi has a magical connection with the crown she's close to, and her friends the Shadowbolt Five become connected too by proxy because friendship.
59. >Now there's a reversed type of thing where the rest of the humane six are the bad girls and minions to Sunset Shimmer while the Shadow Five are powerful because they're with HorseTwi the good girl.
60. >They get powers. (some of them are the same just to have them correlate to the major trait of each girl)
61. >Indigo gets super speed and/or super strength.
62. >Sour Sweet gets mind control and/or mind reading abilities.
63. >Sugarcoat can see into the future but only like by one or two minutes. (Yes, like the movie Next)
64. >Sunny Flare gets invisibility and/or force field powers (Yes, like that one girl from The Incredibles whose name I forgot)
65. >Lemon Zest gets to cause sonic booms from sound waves.
66. >And the fact that they know their friend SciTwi more than HorseTwi but still see HorseTwi as SciTwi, the friendship for her in their minds makes SciTwi a little bit more powerful too, and she gets her levitation powers.
67. >The games soon end, and the new Friendship Games Trophy is about to go to Crystal Prep as expected, this is occurring at CHS, the site of the most recent location for matches/competitions.
68. >Right as the door to the cabinet thing is unlocked and opened, Sunset Shimmer leaps forth and snatches the crown after hiding just out of view, looking like a sore loser who got mad because they lost yet another game.
69. >But she then puts the crown on her head and becomes Demon Shimmer like in the real movie.
70. >The humane six become her literal minions and the rest of the students zombie, and Twilight, Twilight and the Shadow Five have to work together with their magic of friendship to stop them from taking over the dimension.
71. >After that, they have an actual little battle of their powers really being used instead of there only being the standard rainbow blast.
72. >The Shadow Five and Twilight work together to defeat Demon Sunset with an actual rainbow blast at the end.
73. >The good guys win, it's found out that the crown isn't a real trophy (obviously) and it is returned to HorseTwi to take back to Equestria as SciTwi transfers to CHS while keeping her new friends at Crystal Prep.
74. >The humane six get to know her better too, and Sunset gets redeemed after she is defeated just like in the real movie.
75. >But the speculative movie ends with the dazzlings in the diner just like the beginning of Rainbow Rocks having taken notice of the magic blast and set their sights on the two school right after HorseTwi and Sunset go back to Equestria so Celestia can sort things out and they inevitably soon become friends.
76. >Both of the formerly rival schools are friends now and won't become enemies again until the Dazzlings come in with their music and turn everyone against eachother, disrupting the magic of friendship that is there all to be adored and not ignored.
77. >And that is the cliffhanger that will connect to the next movie.
78. EQG2: Rainbow Rocks:
79. Lots of this is the same as the real RR because it was much less terrible so it’s fewer posts.
80. >HorseTwi and Sunset have screwedd off back to Equestria but not before getting to know the humane six and shadowbolts a little.
81. >It was determined in Equestria that Sunset’s punishment is to go back to EQG world and live magic-less there and face all of the backlash for what she did head on.
82. >Sunset still gets the convenient book that lets her contact Princess Twilight, mostly just to have the ones in Equestria check up on her, but it soon turns into them chatting to eachother and developing a friendship of their own.
83. >Meanwhile, SciTwi is in the basement of Crystal Prep perfecting her magic absorbing device, waiting to be transferred to CHS to get away from Cinch.
84. >Cinch is doubling down on her bs because her reputation is heavily damaged from people finding out about the one crown trophy not being an actual trophy.
85. >Her power is in question, badly. Worse than ever before. This big reveal about the fake trophy was a huge deal for her and everyone around her.
86. >Meanwhile, SciTwi is learning more about magic, and her friends who are the Shadowbolt Five are getting better as practicing their powers; the device still works in the crown’s absence because of how strong their friendship is.
87. >But it is NOT Equestrian magic anymore because none of the girls who are friends have ever been to Equestria, but their friendship developed a new magic through the device that learned how to work from Equestrian magic.
88. >A few moments emphasizing the S5’s characterizations happen, just like how the real movies do with the mane six, and the shadow five end up actually developing as characters over time.
89. >And there’s this brief theme basically saying: Great, now those Crystal Prep kids have superpowers too, but it’s really not that big of a deal because CHS and Crystal Prep are friends now, despite Cinch’s objection to this.
90. >But Cinch is the fake trophy lady now, so her opinion on the matter is irrelevant as far as everyone else is concerned, and she is PISSED because of this.
91. >Pissed off and plotting revenge, she makes it so SciTwi cannot transfer to CHS until she finishes a semester/trimester or whatever, and wants to milk her brilliance to its fullest extent.
92. >The shadowbolt five and humane six secretly know there are two Twilights, and want to go to the portal and write in the book to fetch Princess Twilight to maybe do something about Cinch being a bitch once again.
93. >But everything is interrupted when the Dazzlings enter the setting; they enroll into CHS where the magic blast came from and take over the place through song except the humane six who have the magic of friendship, just like the real RR.
94. >The “musical showcase” turns into the battle of the Bands, except CHS is not only competing against eachother, but back to wanting to compete against Crystal Prep once again, making the schools rivals once more and undoing what was resolved in the first movie.
95. >The two champion groups of the CHS exclusive competition will face off against two groups from Crystal Prep, which the Dazzlings see as yet more territory to conquer by including them under their spell at the semi-final and final matches.
96. >And Cinch is pleased about this, wanting to do everything she can to get revenge for the things that was technically her fault but she refuses to see this.
97. >She turns her attention to the Shadowbolt Five and wants to utilize them into being the top competitors in the battle of the bands and defeat CHS once and for all.
98. >The CHS battle of the bands competition happens as it did before, with HorseTwi and all, and it comes down to Trixie’s group and the Dazzlings performing at the big show against whoever made it to the top at Crystal Prep.
99. >The Shadowbolt Five, already being used to being competitive and being the MVP’s in the Friendship Games, make it to the top of the school’s chart, and Cinch decides that they will be the only group to perform against CHS because she has that much confidence in them having Superpowers, not yet knowing that the humane six also have superpowers.
100. >HorseTwi is well aware of Cinch too, as well as the Dazzlings wanting to take over Crystal Prep along with their spell, and the battle of the bands in approaching.
101. >But the mane six are still locked away under the stage because of Trixie’s group doing what they did, but Vinyl still saves them because she had her headphones on when the rest of the school fell under the spell of the Dazzlings.
102. >They go to the concert and crash it like before, but now the Dazzlings have Crystal Prep on their side as soon as they do their music thing, and of course, Even Cinch is under their spell too, and the Shadow Five too because their magic isn’t Equestrian magic.
103. >But Zest isn’t because she’s like Vinyl and never takes off her headphones, but she’s also like Pinkie and part of the magical group of girls that saves the day.
104. >She joins the Rainbooms and helps them defeat the Dazzlings just like how they did in the actual movie and gets her friends back as well as everyone else who was under the spell.
105. >Dazzlings are chased off like in the real movie, and Cinch is found out for having endorsed what the Dazzlings were doing even when not under their spell, and is heckled and ridiculed so much over time that she eventually steps down and lets Cadance become principal.
106. >Just like in the first movie, Sunset got the rest of CHS to like her after they hated her for a while, and SciTwi gets to transfer to CHS as HorseTwi goes back to Equestria once again.
107. >SciTwi now likes everyone at Crystal Prep, but still wants to go to CHS since she already did everything at Crystal Prep and has friends there now.
108. >Now the Mane Six and Shadow Five have powers, Sunset is officially a completely protagonist character, SciTwi is a CHS student, and all is well that ends well.
109. EQG 3:
110. >Equestria Girls Three: The Legend of Everfree (It rhymes!)
111. >So here we are, the third movie in the whatever you call it.
112. >All the good guys/gals are happy together, Cinch stepped down, the Dazzlings left, everything’s great, right?
113. >Wro- right! The opening scene of the third EQG movie is on the bus to camp or whatever just like the last, with the midnight scene right before it too which I will explain in just a sec.
114. >All of the students from both schools are going to Camp Everfree together on a school field trip.
115. >And there’s multiple busses driving side by side, and there could be some cute lighthearted funny moments between the Canterlot High kids and the Crystal Prep kids.
116. >SciTwi is talking about this new portable device she’s making that can detect magic and maybe analyze it so she and the girls can understand magic better, and doing it at the camp is the perfect place because it’s far from the portal and there’s (presumably) no other magic or magical beings there that will interfere or make things hit the fan.
117. >They get to the camp, yadda yadda yadda… it’s revealed that the time at the camp is going to be a week long endeavor.
118. >Enter Gloriosa, introducing herself as the leader of the camp or something, same way as the last movie except Timber Spruce doesn’t exist.
119. >He is not necessary and we don’t need any shoehorned in relationships clogging up the plot with corny romance that’s irrelevant to the plot. “muh audience appeal” shut up, the interesting story come first.
120. >Twilight and Sunset hang out together a lot instead and have cute moments with Gloriosa, with Twilight worried about becoming Midnight Sparkle in mid conversation and making everyone hate her again. Midconversation Sparkle.
121. >She’s worried that her newest device is doing this and considers dissassembling it despite how hard she worked on it with passion, because she’s now afraid of having magic items around her.
122. >Sunset’s all like “it’s cool, it’s cool, I have the magic communication book with me to tell HorseTwi about my times at camp and stuff, you aren’t alone. We can work on your device together, and maybe get HorseTwi to give us good advice on how to keep it under control as we go along since she’s an expert on magic”.
123. >But now, the humane six and the shadow five notice that they start to have their powers acting up for some reason.
124. >And this is bad because the whole magic thing was exclusively between Canterlot High and Crystal Prep, and this is a completely different location from where that was a thing, so they are trying to keep their magic concealed while they’re having fun trying out the camp activities.
125. >Gloriosa notices but no one notices that she notices. And she doesn’t speak on it and we’ll find out why later on.
126. >SciTwi is getting worried that it’s her fault, but Sunset comforts her.
127. >There’s a boat race scene where RD and Indy team up and win even against Applejack, and speaking of Applejack, there’s that activity thingy where you bob your head into a barrel or whatever and retrieve apples, which AJ is obviously going to be good at.
128. >Celestia, Luna and Cadance recall all the times when they went to this camp and how much things have changed, the moon-dial joke stays because that was kinda funny.
129. >They all chitchat with Gloriosa about their fun times together (Gloriosa was a little toddler when they were high school campers and they met her and her parents at one point right outside the camp, she always lived nearby) and they tell her that they ended up being in charge of the schools they came from.
130. >There’s more camp activities like capture the flag, etc. Insert character development between the characters here and whatnot, the writers would figure something out regarding the details.
131. >And then there’s a campfire scene with scary stories, Pinkie tells the most stupid non-scary drug trip like stuff and Sugarcoat calls her out on it and is all like “that’s not scary, dumbass”.
132. >Rainbow Dash and Indigo Zap team up to do a stunt where one of them pops out of the bushes, Applejack tells a folklore story no one understands except Sour Sweet who has a psycho look on her face, Rarity tells a story about washing her clothes the wrong way and the only person getting scared is Sunny Flare and Fluttershy (who’s getting scared even at Pinkie’s dumb story)
133. >Have a part with Rarity eating roasted marshmallows for le jokes.
134. >Have a part with Fluttershy understanding what the distant woodland animal noises are saying in the distance and think it’s ghosts or something.
135. >Have a part with Lemon Zest needing a place to charge her headphones and Vinyl scratch helping her out by lending her charger after a visit to Vinyl and Tavi’s cabin (which has the line and stuff drawn down the middle like episode 100).
136. >Have an earlier dinner scene in the camp mess hall or whatever, and then right after that they go to the campfire scene and stuff.
137. >Gloriosa tells the myth of Gaia Everfree who lives in the woods and manages to make it so convincing that no one wants to go wandering around too deep in the woods.
138. >There’s a scene at night where Gloriosa is walking through the woods with all that sneaky music and crap playing, and she’s carefully looking around like “gee i hope no one is following meeeee!”
139. >Just like she told the girls not to, oh my!
140. >She goes to the cave place to check on the geodes, yup they’re a-okay.
141. >Turns out that she’s protecting them from something, but it’s not revealed what, but she doesn’t trust the campers who are showing magical stuff because they might be here to take the geodes away, and they’re all like special to her and the camp and she thinks it belongs to the spirits of the camp because she’s a fricken’ hippy.
142. >There’s a scene with Sunset in her cabin all comfy on her bed with the light on the nightstand and she’s writing in the book to HorseTwi about how much she loves it at camp, and that the other Twilight is making a new device that works with magic, but HorseTwi can’t visit to help in person because they’re all at camp right now and the portal’s at the school.
143. >But she can still write to them, which is more efficient than traveling through the portal anyway since there’s still a lot of pages left.
144. >Sleepytime.
145. >Next morning.
146. >The campers are waken up bright and early on the second day of the trip, and there’s a scheduled hike today but they remember that they weren’t supposed to wake up this early for the hike.
147. >Enter this long line of black SUV’s to indicate the villain’s arrival because the EQG verse isn’t free of movie clichés and you know that very well. (ding)
148. >Enter Filthy Rich, the big bad businessman who announces in front of Gloriosa and the campers that he’s planning to bulldoze the whole camp down and turn it into his Dimmadome Shopping Mall.
149. >Gloriosa: I sleep.
150. >Filthy Rich mentions that spas will be included.
151. >Gloriosa: Three angery panic attacks and a couple of light strokes. (nah kidding, she hates the whole shopping mall thing altogether)
152. >Filthy Rich is all like “I’m glad you all agreed to this conteact I’m literally showing you just now” or some other villain meme phrase with the “save the camp and its nature” stereotype wrapping around the viewers’ heads like a wet towel ready to be reused once again.
153. >Bad dude leaves, Gloriosa explains that the big banks or whatever want to use this land for Capitalism™. The campers are like “oh no, we gotta protecc this place” and yeah I’m sure you can figure out where this part is going.
154. >MEANWHILE… Canterlot High School.
155. >You ever been to a high school where all the students and stuff are away at a field trip? Pretty empty, right?
156. >This is exactly what the Dazzlings take advantage of during the day when the doors are still open and they can mosey on in like they in Rainbow Rocks.
157. >The girls aren’t there, Celestia isn’t there, none of the students who’d recognize them aren’t there, they can sneak around with a low chance of getting found out.
158. >And guess what they’re looking for? The portal to Equestria, of course!
159. >Everyone else isn’t here, this is the perfect time to find it and go to horseland to get more magical devices that will help them get their swagga back.
160. >BACK AT CAMP.
161. >The campers are going on their cute little scheduled hike now but all sad and stuff because Filthy Rich rained on their parade.
162. >As they’re walking around, going over the river and through the woods, hopping over logs and rocks, treading up and down mountainsides, they start to plan to save the camp.
163. >Kicking pebbles around all like “aw shucks, we can’t let this happen” and the girls cheer Gloriosa up and say that they’ll help her save the camp from the mean old bulldozers.
164. >Scene cut to Filthy Rich in his office on the phone.
165. >He’s all like “aight bro I told them… yeah… it is done… I’ll have the guys over with their bulldozers in a couple o’days, you’re welcome and thanks for the deal we struck”.
166. >Cut to the person on the other line… it’s none other than ol’ Cinchy.
167. >She’s hellbent on ruining the camp trip and the camp itself solely to spite both of the schools for ruining her reputation and costing her her job and power, but she still has connections to other people with power such as Filthy Rich.
168. >She drives by Crystal Prep all menacingly then does the same in front of Canterlot High before briefly noticing the dazzlings wandering around.
169. >The dazzlings notice Cinch driving around and stuff when they’re wandering around the school.
170. >But neither party talks to the other, driving off/going back inside in fear of being ratted out.
171. >Commence antics from the Dazzlings as they have cute/funny moments trying to find the portal all throughout the school, and they eventually go back outside and find it in the statue, and can go through it because they’re FROM Equestria.
172. >Back at camp.
173. >Hike over, now everyone’s doing arts and crafts and stuff but a the same time, building up defenses to stop the bulldozers.
174. >Logs as palisade walls, I dunno. They do something.
175. >And they manage to do it well because the oceagonist eleven have their sooper speshul magic powers to help them!
176. >Commence the magical antics trying to save camp, but the secret magic cave with geodes is still there and gloriosa knows about it but never tells anyone.
177. >They do more camp activities in a montage song or whatever before the day comes where the bulldozers arrive.
178. >But they’re being blocked by magically placed clutter and can’t get to the camp.
179. >More antics ensue, bulldozers flee in fear of the power of the screenwriters because EQG world logic.
180. >Success!
181. >The magic from the girls is what saved everything, but the girls did it in a way so that Gloriosa thinks she was the one who spearheaded the whole operation, and Gloriosa feels happy and special as a result.
182. >And she continues to be focused on making sure the geodes are okay, now that she knows that people can have powers from magic (but they conveniently made her not notice this time).
183. >She didn’t tell them about the geodes because she feared that the two magics combining would disrupt the camp’s chi or whatever.
184. >Later that night, Sunset is getting ready to write to HorseTwi about the epic camp saving stuff that happened.
185. >But she notices a lot of unread book messages, and she reads through them to find out that the Dazzlings got their hands on new magic devices and are about to come back through the portal to take over Canterlot City while the magic of the schools isn’t there to protect things.
186. >The girls with the magic now have to leave the amp early in order to stop the Dazzlings.
187. >Meanwhile, Cinch is furious that Filthy Rich’s bulldozers never made it to the camp and she’s all like “try again” acting like she’s yelling at her former students.
188. >The oceagonist eleven make it back to the school, and surprise the Dazzlings right as they come through the portal.
189. >The dazzlings didn’t expect the magic girls to be back so soon because the field trip is still going on (they kinda planned this).
190. >Commence the magical battle, but it’s slightly more difficult because dazzlings have upgraded magic and all that.
191. >Takes a long time, lasts into the night because the dazzlings are fleeing into the town to find people to hypnotize because the schools have no people in them.
192. >The dazzlings bring out the animosity in SciTwi and bring out Midnight Sparkle and turn her bad through their new spell they don’t know works that way yet, but they roll with it because it benefits them.
193. >Meanwhile at the camp, the bulldozers are sent in at night this time when everyone’s sleeping and caught by surprise.
194. >The battle for CHS and Canterlot City is eventually won, but the battle for the camp is lost, and the bulldozers proceed to level everything there.
195. >The rest of the students/principals go to the buses and escape as they realize there’s nothing they can do.
196. >The Dazzlings are reformed and sent back to equestria to await Princess Celestia’s judgement like they should have been in the first movie.
197. >Midnight Sparkle is also defeated and SciTwi is assured by everyone that it was entirely the dazzlings’ fault that happened, and she vows to turn Midnight good and use her for good things.
198. >At the camp, Filthy Rich and Cinch follow a fleeing Gloriosa to the cave, wondering where she’s running (they both just chase her on foot personally because they’re main characters and you know the writers would totally do that)
199. >Gloriosa makes it to the cave and grabs the geodes as a last ditch attempt to save the camp that’s already been razed to the ground lol.
200. >The geodes are POWERFUL stuff, having been around for hundreds of years and whatnot.
201. >Gloriosa transforms into Gaia Everfree.
202. >Cinch and Rich are taken hostage by the monster Gaia Everfree now who is going back to the camp. (Or maybe they don’t follow Gloriosa to the cavern place and she does her thing and then she just takes them hostage after making it back to camp, that can work too)
203. >She assumes direct control, destroys all the bulldozers and starts rebuilding the camp with roots and vines.
204. >Buses and stuff make it back to their designated schools, Principal Celestia delivers the bad news about the camp, unaware of the thing Gloriosa Everfree just did.
205. >The gang wants to go back up to the camp but realize that they already lost and the camp is destroyed, but they go back up anyway because HERO HERO HERO HERO
206. >They get there, Gloriosa is all crazy, another battle ensues but it’s even more difficult than the last one, the device reads power over 9,000 yadda yadda, Midnight helps everyone get that final push into winning because DAMN, those geodes are powerful and Midnight ended up saving the day yay!
207. >Gloriosa is reformed/whatever… Cinch and Filthy Rich are found out in their plans and arrested/jailed, the geodes go to their corresponding mane six member but there’s also a few for the shadow five.
208. >The camp is rebuilt stronger than ever with magic.
209. >Insert more funny quips here, moral of the story, forshadowing to any more possible adventures.
210. ............... . . . . . . .
211. >EQG4: Mall Magic.
212. >First (fast-paced but detailed) introduction scene is SciTwi reading through book and stuff about ancient legends in the world’s history after school had let out for the summer.
213. >Ancient gods and goddesses, biblical plagues, disasters, immortal heroes, massive scale battles in the middle of earthquakes, volcanoes, tidal waves… all kinds of really kickass mythical stuff.
214. >Also includes some superstitious stuff and whatever, like witchcraft and other lighter forms of mythology from slightly later times than the ancient times… until Sunset notices that a lot of it sounds very similar to a lot of Equestria’s far past history.
215. >Except Equestria normally has a lot of magic present and the human world doesn’t.
216. >So this is very intriguing to Twilight and Sunset, and they start wondering about the magic that was at Camp Everfree.
217. >It must be that magic left over from the ancient times that helped the pyramids or whatever get built; it was actually real and unlike in Equestria, the magic just stopped being accessed and then technology advanced without it, which fascinates Twilight a ton because she’s been making more gadgets and doing more experiment while Sunset has been focusing on the more spiritual aspect of it having more of a connection to Equestria and all.
218. >So the girls explore deeper into the cave, and other places around the camp, excavate artifacts with words on them out of the ground and discover a map, showing the site that used to be in the spot where Camp Everfree is now, and then another spot not too far away from it… in town.
219. >These ancient ritual sites have long been abandoned and consumed by nature, but a lot of the magic still remains, and the nature at Camp Everfree has been preserved, but the other ancient site where mythical stuff happened before magic became a thing of the past in this world… is now a shopping mall in town.
220. >…
221. >Cue opening sequence and stuff yadda yadda yadda.
222. >Next scene scene thingy is when the mane severn take a little trip to the mall together like people their age irl do and start looking around for signs of magic, whilst the shadowbolt girls are off doing their own thing for the moment (they will appear in whatever I write next for this).
223. >Gloriosa is there because she is still redeeming herself (and she did a lot of the work rebuilding the camp to make up for going crazy with magic and whatnot)
224. >School is still out for all of them and they had recently been looking for summer jobs, but this was a quick pit stop while they have the time.
225. >Not really any signs of anything, but RD finds that the Daring Do thingy is going to visit the mall for whatever movie they were filming soon, and she wants to be there for it.
226. >Rarity wants to try to apply to work at one of the beauty boutiques the mall has.
227. >There’s a pet store that Fluttershy wants to work at too.
228. >These girls figure that they can work here at the mall for their summer jobs and also have more time to see if there’s “anything maaaaaaagical about this place!” out of sheer curiosity.
229. >So they do just that and the three girls who applied got their jobs at the mall, and it becomes their summer hangout. Meanwhile, Rainbow Dash is excited to see the Daring Do movie happen here as in have part of it filmed here, and she has her whole geek out with Twilight like in the real thing.
230. >A scene with Gloriosa is included where she REFUSES to go near the spa section of the mall when Rarity invites her there.
231. >But then Sunset makes a discovery: there is a clone of her working at a sushi stand at this mall!
232. >The other girls find this out and start getting all giddy and whatnot.
233. >Feeling like they were meant to come here because of the dream summer jobs, the map location connected with magic, and the other Sunset working here.
234. >They all go about their jobs and the movie thing is about to happen, and Juniper Montage (who works at the movie theater right next to the mall) comes onto the scene with all of those characters.
235. >There’s no dance competition yet, that’s coming later in the summer, but Juniper makes a slight reference to it as she meets the girls and RD and Twilight hang out with her and stuff as Sunset starts to feel this really strange set of occurrences take place.
236. >She’s sensing magical things around this place, and she prompts Twilight to use one of her magic detection devices to try and confirm this and there is indeed magic stuff going on around here, but no one knows what.
237. >Sunset joins the other girls over at the movie theater as they’re talking about nerd stuff pertaining to Daring Do.
238. >She then goes and reads Juniper’s mind and finds out that she has made people disappear in the past using a magic mirror with the magic that’s under the mall.
239. >So of course, she goes all “no wonder I’ve had this suspicion” but then realizes that she can’t just call her out because no one will believe her if she does.
240. >Talking about magic and jont, wtf. lmao git yo girl off dem drugs yo!
241. >Anyway, Sunset explains all of the stuff she saw to the rest of the mane seven, and they have to figure out a way to discreetly stop her.
242. >This way, it’s not the trouble finding its way to the protagonists, but instead has the protagonists find trouble that happened a long time ago on their own merit and attempt to undo the wrongs that didn’t originally involve them.
243. >So they need to find this mirror and save the people trapped inside who had feuded with Juniper in the past.
244. >(this part would also be learned in the vision) Sunset had also learned that Juniper recently screwed a bunch of people over for the sole purpose of being the one to be picked for a job in the movie industry so she wouldn’t have any competition.
245. >There were about five better competitors than Juniper, one of them happening to be Vignette Valencia, who also loves attention and stuff.
246. >Now she has the job of being assistant and wants to work her way into becoming a star through the new proximity to the opportunity she has, but she doesn’t plan to use the mirror ever again unless she NEEDS to, and it’s locked away somewhere that’s a bit hazy in her memory.
247. >Juniper is thrilled to see that the mane seven have taken great interest in her and want to hang out with her on the movie set at the mall that’s right next to the theater she went to.
248. >There are no phones allowed on the movie set (no photos allowed), so the mane seven have to leave them behind and get Gloriosa to watch over them.
249. >Having no idea that they just want to save a bunch of people from the mirror dimension (where time is presumably slower there so that way they don’t starve to death over there so the rating doesn’t have to go up too far).
250. >Pinkie Pie has a couple of scenes where she distracts her while the other girls try to figure out where the mirror is.
251. >Then SciTwi has a similar scene where she tries to distract her with nerdy stuff while the other girls try to find the mirror.
252. >And pretty much each and every one of the girls has a turn distracting Juniper in order to find the mirror, and this can be that obligatory part where their characters are really emphasized, which hints at crack ships and all (you know exactly which stupid ship I’m talking about the most)
253. >Sunset then reads her mind through some shoehorned in opportunity like a handshake (then again it might not be shoehorned in since all it takes in the slightest physical contact, not to mention that she has those headphones she had in that one short too while she was listening to everyone’s thoughts as she walked around the school and heard that Trixie was internally self-circlejerking about how great and powerful she is).
254. >The mirror is locked away in some treasure chest looking thing in her room, and Juniper is the one with the key to open it.
255. >This is when the jig is up.
256. >Pinkie Pie does a really silly cowboy/cowgirl impersonation all like “alright, stop right there the sheriff is in town!” and applejack just gives her a “are you kidding me” expression.
257. >But here’s where things get REALLY stupid in order to pad the runtime because you know the writers would need to do this anyway in order to make the thing long enough into a movie and rake in dem billz.
258. >Sunset explains what she knows to Juniper in attempt to get her to hand over the key peacefully, knowing that Juniper is probably the only one able to use the mirror.
259. >Having practiced acting for a while, Juniper plays along, realizing that these girls have access to magic too.
260. >But at the very last second, she Aku’s the mane six after agreeing the take the mirror out herself in this fake feign of defeat and points it towards all of them and sucks them all into it.
261. >She had been sweet talking them the whole time and Sunset was far enough to not be able to read her mind (but of course the headphone thing is a thing but I think it wouldn’t happen that was because of the fact that Sunset wouldn’t be wearing her headphones in this situation anyway but she should have now that I’m looking back at this with 20/20 vision but this is the stupid stuff I was talking about back between the previous parenthesis)
262. >Applejack could have used her strength to hold Juniper back, but nope, some plot convenience happens and they’re all surprise trapped inside the mirror now.
263.
>There was an earlier idea I had where they were all just meeting Juniper and she had the mirror out with her and the mane seven were oblivious to it being powerful and then Juniper absorbs them into the mirror one by now like in the canon special, but that would require Juniper to want revenge and initiate the conflict herself, and her being defeated in Movie Magic was part of a dumb Scooby-Doo plot and I like the other thing I just wrote better.
264. >So now they are all having the same scene that was either in Mirror Magic or Rollercoaster of Friendship where they’re all in the white space and all like “lemme out lemme ooooooout” like an inverse EricAndre meme.
265. >Meanwhile, they meet the other people in there including Vignette Valencia and she explains that time moves slower in here
(no this is not an Avengers reference)
who tell them all that Juniper is an evil bitch yadda yadda yadda.
266. >And meanwhile, Juniper looks at herself in the mirror now combined with the mane seven/six magic and it makes her grow super powerful into the Juniper monster.
267. >And since the geode thingies from the last movie were from Gaia Everfree, Juniper’s monster form looks suspiciously close to Gaia Everfree.
268. >Then she goes around the mall and theater terrorizing people with mirror in hand, using the mane seven’s magic to make herself more powerful.
269. >And Juniper is THRILLED to see that she gets a part in a movie, thinking she’s all hot stuff now, but then is infuriated when she discovers that the role that’s suggested for her is the monster.
270. >So she gets pissed off and throws a fit over it, trying to absorb even more and more power as the mane seven inside of the mirror with the other people she captured there try to break out of there.
271. >Juniper’s rage makes the mirror start to crack a lot and the world inside of the mirror does the cracky thing it does in the canon sequence, and the mane seven have to use their powers to stay alive or whatever.
272. >They realize that Juniper’s greed and wrath is making the powers of the mirror unstable, and they have to use it against her to try to get themselves as well as everyone else out of the mirror.
273. >Juniper’s own greed ends up being the agent of her downfall, but here’s something the mane six/seven don’t know:
274. >Vignette Valencia is a RIVAL to Juniper Montage. Meaning, she has the same goals as her, but wasn’t as equipped with magic to get it done.
275. >But Juniper had tricked her into taking a mirror selfies with that mirror she had, with her phone, and she snapped a photo of herself (This was how Juniper got her to stand still back when she wasn’t as good at using the mirror) right as she started to get absorbed into the mirror.
276. >The image of the phone in the magical mirror is in one of the images on her phone, and some magic happened and Vignette’s phone actually has the exact same abilities as the mirror and can trap people inside of it by taking a photo… as long as that image is still on her phone.
277. >And also, her phone is able to receive texts and calls from the outside world but cannot send anything because anything coming in gets trapped in the mirror just fine but anything trying to get out isn’t powerful enough. And the phone only has trapping powers.
278. >It’s like having your picture taken steals your soul or whatever it was that scared some people in the past who didn’t understand the functionality of cameras.
279. >Anyway, Gloriosa is still outside of the mirror, wondering where all of her friends went, and still looking after the phones.
280. >Sunset had told her before about the mirror, and said to keep on the lookout (but didn’t have her confront Juniper since Gloriosa herself doesn’t have any powers specifically to herself).
281. >Vignette sees that these girls have magical powers and tells them that they can try to get her phone to contact the outside world (they are led to believe that all their phones could do this, but they left all their phones behind on the movie set, so they have no idea that Vignette could be stretching the truth and don’t know that her phone is now a magical artifact on the outside world too).
282. >They combine their powers of friendship to tell Gloriosa about what happened by contacting the phones that Glori is watching over (they all ring at the same time together all cute and friendship-like)
283. >Gloriosa sends texts from all their phones to Vignette’s number non-stop in hopes to power them all up and it works and they escape the mirror before the mirror world crumbles.
284. >So now everyone’s out, Juniper’s powers diminish, the heroes rainblast her anyway despite her being all like “I surrender” and then expose everything she did to the public and get her to lose her job on the movie set and have Vignette Valencia take her place.
285. >Vignette Valencia secretly laughs evilly as the protagonists played right into her hand and now she can get adequate revenge on her rival Juniper Montage, seeing that both of them are antagonists and only one of them was known by the mane seven.
286. >Gloriosa is finally completely redeemed and Juniper Montage is adequately punished for her wrongdoings.
287. >[insert numerous cute moments here, including another scene about Gloriosa hating the spa section of the mall]
288. >The cute ending stuff is had, the girls go back to their jobs or shopping or whatever now having gotten used to doing things in this mall. They now know that there’s something ancient that was special under here.
289. >Then… last scene.
290. >Meanwhile, Vignette Valencia (the new staff member or whatever for the new Daring Do movie being worked on) is starting to get info on the mane seven about what they’ve done before, where they go to school, etc.
291. >They had already told her about their powers, and she’s aware of Sunset’s mind-reading abilities, so she avoided her in the most non-suspicious way possible.
292. >And the scene cuts to black after she vows to “have her day” or something equally as villain-y.
293. >And with that, there is yet another sequel inbound.
294. EQG 5: Forgotten Friendshipped lemayo.
295. >First scene is a dark and stormy night to set the dumb ass mood, it’s at some courthouse.
296. >It’s revealed that the mall is owned by none other than Filthy Rich, the man who the mane seven defeated at Everfree.
297. >And now here he stands before a judge, being exonerated for his tomfoolery all about the camp Everfree thing; basically getting a slap on the wrist because his people paid lots of money for him to be acquitted.
298. >Something something rich powerful folk getting off scot free because they have lots of money to buy their way out of problems.
299. >Now he doesn’t have to go to jail, and he just learned about the thing that happened at the mall that he owns, and he’s not happy about it because those were the same girls that got him (almost) punished in the first place.
300. >Camera zooms into his face, fades to blank screen and then the theme song plays.
301. >…
302. >First scene has the mane seven in the yearbook room doing their whatever type of stuff.
303. >Some reminiscing scenes about camp and the mall and all that, have a few character scenes where each of the girls do their catchphrases or whatever for like the fans or something.
304. >Really get their attention before introducing Wallflower blush to the scene.
305. >She’s doing her usual forlorn act, everything from Forgotten Friendship basically but she sorta half befriends the mane seven before they leave the room without saying goodbye like a really depressing birthday party.
306. >Wallflower basically wants validation in life, and the mane seven are getting closer together with their friendship thing.
307. >She gets jealous of them but doesn’t really have a way of doing anything about it.
308. >The next scene is her hanging out at the mall where Vignette is doing stuff and watches people all stalker like wishing she was in social relationship like them but NOPE she’s invisible.
309. >This would be the perfect time for her to have her invisible song or whatever, and have her pass by tons of people at the mall.
310. >Meanwhile, Vignette is hosting a dancing contest at the mall to not only rake in some money but to gain control of people and disappear her enemies with her phone that has the same powers as the mirror because of the selfie.
311. >It’s this huge event that she deliberately put close to CHS after doing some research about the place.
312. >She learns about this rival school called Crystal Prep, and that they also have girls with magic and stuff (if this hadn’t become a public thing in any of the movies before this movie, then it definitely did since the previous one because that sort of thing staying a secret is stupid and far-fetched and how would you hide something so big for so long? The society here should start to adjust or whatever now that they discovered ancient magic).
313. >If Vignette is going to become super powerful, she needs to get rid of the magical girls from both schools, but there’s a lot of them, and she’s hideously outnumbered and needs to have them all in the same spot in order to disappear them all into her phone.
314. >Hence, the dancing competition is advertised at the schools, where Wallflower eventually notices and remembers seeing Vignette at the mall before.
315. >Meanwhile, Juniper is working her regular job or whatever all sorry about being a little twerp and Gloriosa is helping her get more in touch with being a less bad person.
316. >Meanwhile, Gloriosa avoids the spa area and is not too happy about being in this place after having found out that this place is owned by none other than Filthy Rich and this is basically his dimmadome shopping mall.
317. >So she’s getting all suspicious and doing tinfoil hat stuff for comedic effect all like “he’s gonna turn Yellowstone into a Spa” or something.
318. >The dance competition advertisement works and the girls from both schools return to the mall after the beginning of the school year has kicked in and all the yearbook stuff has commenced and was all sorted out.
319. >This is where the Shadow Five really come into play, because they’re the ones with the competitive spirit still kind of in them, and they’re baited into joining the competition for their own benefit.
320. >Sugarcoat starts off with saying they will never win because the odds are too small and that there will likely be professional dance crews joining since Vignette is popular and well known people are going to come to compete.
321. >But then Indigo wants to bite off more than she can chew and is all like “nahh we got this how do you think those people got famous anyway? By taking risks like the one we’re definitely going to take because I jumped the gun and signed all five of us up without asking first lololol”.
322. >Sugarcoat yells at her for it, but Lemon Zest is already on board because it will be a blast and Sour Sweet and Sunny Flare just sit there crossing their arms all like “what… everrrrr, ugh!”
323. >So then the shadow five have to start getting good at dancing and Sugarcoat starts to tell them all about how there’s nowhere near enough time to get good at dancing and all that stuff, and then there’s a montage of them getting good anyway because LA MAGIC OF FRIENDSHI.
324. >And then Sugarcoat’s ballet skills come in handy to help the group look cooler and Sugarcoat had only been talking negatively about the whole thing because she had more experience and thought that there would definitely be someone in the competition who had ONLY focused on dancing instead of the million and one thing that Cinch wanted.
325. >Anyway, the montage of the shadow five getting good at dancing finishes, and then the Montage of Juniper is seen in the next scene working at the mall’s food course with her 7/11 part time job.
326. >Vignette is throwing a tiny little celebration party that is loosely connected to the dance competition but it’s part of this long stream of festivals for the season and the competition is one of them but this party has a specific purpose.
327. >Guess who’s providing food for this party? Juniper of the Montage!
328. >She’s one of the people paid to set up the food tables, etc.
329. >Wallflower is also at the event, moping and watching visible people at the mall wanting to cry but she’s out of tears and just stares with dry eyes now.
330. >And of course she happens to be the same girl form the CHS yearbook thing because the writers would do that at some point too. Something something coincidence yes we get it.
331. >Anyway, Juniper meets Wallflower and both are angry for one reason or another and feeling like outcasts outside of their nature.
332. >Juniper was the first person to actually talk to Wallflower, or even notice her, and it was all because she felt like as much as a nobody as she did.
333. >It has to do with that feeling when you fall from so high that you feel lower than ever because of the comparison, and she probably sings a song about this I dunno… and then Wallflower joins in with her take on the situation or whatever. Could be a cute wholesome feelsy thing.
334. >Anyway, Wallflower tells about her gardening experience and wants to do something related to that around the mall where all the attention is since it’s the only thing she’s good at and has confidence in.
335. >Juniper points over to that Vignette Valencia and starts talking mad trash about her.
336. >Wallflower and Juniper bond over this bubbling hatred for Vignette Valencia, and this is probably the part where they sing the song together.
337. >At some point during all of this, Wallflower takes Juniper to her garden and shows her her plants and stuff, then Juniper tells her that she can plant a few things near the mall in the grassy area with trees right behind it in some mark or something.
338. >So they go there, where there’s no huge buildings or parking lots over everything, and Wallflower secretly finds this stone that seems to beckon her towards it with some sense or essence because she relates to it because it’s a memory stone or whatever the original is called.
339. >It’s one of the ancient artifacts from a long time ago that were mentioned in the previously established lore, and the reason why only Wallflower connected with it because no one in all the god damn world is ignored and forgotten as much as her.
340. >Everyone else who noticed it didn’t have it call to them and just thought it was some random rock.
341. >Wallflower can now use the stone’s powers to erase people’s memory, but has no idea that it’s calling for her to erase Vignette’s memory since the magic under the mall is finally getting more active from the things that are going on and sensed some of its own ranks being used with bad intent and wants to correct itself.
342. >This is where some lore about finding your purpose just like having a cutie mark in equestria comes in handy, but it can also be connected through artifacts that relate to whoever truly wields them.
343. >…
344. >And then the scene is back at the mane six doing their thing at the mall after having heard of the dance competition and see it as a friendly thing to do like the high school musical showcase or whatever.
345. >They sing their own song, now causing this to become like a musical type of movie like Rainbow Rocks since that worked very well and this theme is already kind of about music performance anyway.
346. >But this time, there is dancing involved, which includes a brand new challenge for them.
347. >Fluttershy is apprehensive about dancing while Pinkie Pie is more than enthusiastic to do it.
348. >Rarity goes full OCD over the outfits and AJ is a stick in the mud about that regarding their pRaCtiCaLiTy.
349. >Rainbow Dash basically takes the same approach as Pinkie Pie about it, Sunset and Twilight are all like “yeah okay I think we can do this”.
350. >So they do their song, yadda yadda…
351. >And then meanwhile…
352. >Vignette is being all smug and hinting “haha I won lemme rub it in your face” all bitch-like and Juniper is angery at her.
353. >But then Vignette pretended to want to make amends and take her backstage of the event, where Wallflower is also.
354. >Vignette doesn’t notice Wallflower at first, and Wallflower quietly follows in anticipation of whatever the hell is about to happen since she already doesn’t trust her.
355. >This is where the sole purpose of this little party comes into play, and Vignette is actually planning to absorb Juniper into the phone so she can’t squeal on her for the magic or do anything else to stop her.
356. >And Wallflower watches this happen, shocked at the magic going down at this mall.
357. >But only now does Wallflower appear to Vignette, probably through some magic ex-machina.
358. >But Vignette doesn’t absorb Wallflower too because she could use a good scapegoat to distract the mane six, especially after finding out that Wallflower goes to the same school as then upon asking.
359. >She then sings a song of her own with Wallflower, based around “hey do you wanna be famous? You wanna stop being ignored and finally become trending?” and this is what actually genuinely wins Wallflower over and turns her bad.
360. >Now her purpose has been corrupted and the point of it has been missed due to malice going on and not Vignette got her all greedy and wanting fame/power/etc. and Wallflower is willing to help her.
361. >She notices that Vignette has a magical phone that does super cool things, and she’s already been having pumped up dreams and wanted to get revenge on every person who ignored her.
362. >With this, they become frenemies and exchange phone numbers to coordinate better.
363. >…
364. >Vignette’s plan of getting all of the other magical girls to get involved in the dance competition, and she can see that it’s driving them against eachother.
365. >This calls back to when the Wondercolts and Shadowbolts were rivals, and the girls pick up on this quickly as they start competitively practicing and they’re like “Wait, what are we doing? We’re friends.” and start feeling suspicious of this Vignette Valencia character who’s conducting this whole competition.
366. >They decide to join up teams, but the number of them is too large for just one team so they stay separate but friendly and on their tows now, using their powers to sneak up on Vignette after their pendants start feeling weird because of the magical connection that senses a disturbance in the force.
367. >Sunset figures that she’ll just look at Vignette’s plan through her mind and goes over to hang out with her. Meanwhile, Gloriosa and the others are wondering where the hell Juniper went.
368. >Vignette, having now studied the mane six and the things they do enough, forgets on purpose from Wallflower’s stone and had written down more plan in hand, so then Sunset tries to read her mind and finds no funny business.
369. >Sunset sees nothing in Vignette’s head and assumes she’s just stupid and shallow or something and doesn’t wanna be mean about it because that’s not who she is anymore.
370. >So yeah, Vignette’s quite the clever villain here.
371. >Anyway, as Elvis would say, a little less conversation, a little more action please.
372. >…
373. >The dancing musical showcase begins! With lots of sponsors and charity connections to look good.
374. >The competition starts off pretty exciting with lots of cool groups totally killing it in the first round.
375. >There’s a K-pop-ish group that does all sort of fast paced fight-esque moves and flips that wows the judges.
376. >There’s a Russian group that dresses up in funky costumes for the guys and ballet outfits for the girls and do really complicated Russian dances that impresses everyone. (Oh, and Trixie joined this group because Russian Trixie is top tier)
377. >There’s a street dance crew that is basically just like You Just Got Served, Step Up, movies like that and they all dress all street like and do their thing, which blows the audience away.
378. >And the mane seven and shadow five are all like “what in the...", we have to compete with THAT?!” While Sugarcoat gets all snarky and is all like “I told you so, we don’t stand a damn chance”.
379. >But the girls do their routine anyway, singing their cutie little friendship song and are all like “we’re all friends working together and we love eachother and have the magic of friendshizz and that’s sure to help us win because we’re the main charPTFFFTFTPTF”PTPPFTPTFP they lose in the first round because as GRRM would say, screw plot armor.
380. >Seriously, I’m tired of the main characters always doing this dumb drivel where they sing a little song and they make it to the final round because “whoa hey we’re buddies and we friendship hahaXD”
381. >They’re not going to become professional dancers overnight that can compete with crews that LIVE for this, I’m sorry but that’s just, nah.
382. >Anyway, Vignette needs them to compete with eachother, so she plans to being them back as an honorable mention, but they’re out of the competition.
383. >Her original plan was to snapchat ghost them one by one or at least one group at a time throughout the competition as they were turning against eachother all divide-and-conquer style because she expected them to have plot armor regarding the competition but NOT IN THIS STORY.
384. >But now she’s like “wait a minute, I can just absorb them right here in a group photo, why didn’t I think of this before?” and then goes up to the mall like “haaaayyyyy wanna do a group photo?”
385. >SciTwi asks if it’s a selfie but Vignette insists that she herself is not in the picture (because you know how this works)
386. >Then she does the group photo thing and absorbs all of them successfully and presses the button that goes “that was easy”.
387. >The magic girls are trapped in the phone all like “not again!” and they see Juniper and are all like “well this is awkward” or something else equally cringy.
388. >They try to get out of the phone but can’t, and they soon see through the camera lens all NSA-like that Wallflower is helping Vignette on a promise for fame.
389. >Now the girls start using their powers and stuff to maneuver through the phone and try to find an app or feature or something that’ll help them escape, but nothing seems to work.
390. >Gloriosa’s number isn’t on this phone, but it seems that Wallflower’s is because frenemies.
391. >Sci-Twi, being the technological nerd she is, starts coming up with a plan involving magical devices, being in one and connecting to regular devices.
392. >Meanwhile, in the legion of doom, the rest of the competition is raging on, and now it’s up to the semi-finals with, you guess it, the three super cool teams I mentioned but also one more team.
393. >Vignette is also planning to take a huge chunk of the money with her as well as capitalize on the magnitude of the event and get even more popular. Basically being a greedy little gremlin.
394. >But PLOT TWIST, Filthy Rich has been hearing all about these strange magical things happening and saw for himself all the dumb magic at Everfree, so he goes to the dimmadome shopping mall he owns and plans to bulldoze down the event that he knows the magical girls who defeated him before are part of.
395. >He’s all like “listen, people, the event is cancelled, I say so because i own the place, believe me… believe me” in a trump imitation voice or whatever and starts bulldozing the tents before Vignette runs up to him and is like “ummmmm, can u not? I lichrally can’t even right now like #omg”
396. >Filthy Rich shoos her away, and the event is put on hold with the 4 semi-finalists wondering what is going on lmao.
397. >Inside of the magic phone, the girls use their powers along with Juniper’s help to reach all of Wallflower’s social media and make her popular and famous right as the other plan that was going to make her famous was put on hold.
398. >Apparently, Vignette already had ways installed onto her phone to hack into likes/followers/etc. to cheat her way into marketing success like when you buy fake follower bots on Twitter or whatever.
399. >Wallflower gets a text from Vignette’s phone and sees a message saying “look on Facebook lol”
400. >Wallflower looks on all her social media and sees a whole world that loves her and gives her all their undivided attention like she always wanted.
401. >She starts tearing up and happily singing another song about how she’s finally loved and it’s a really touching song and wholesome moment.
402. >Then she gets another text from Vignette’s phone saying that it’s Juniper and she’s the one who did this, not Vignette (which can be proved with the event being razed to the ground right now lol)
403. >Juniper proves that it’s her by detailing all the plant stuff that Wallflower told her and not Vignette because she got blinded by greed by then, and Juniper was the only person who knew these details.
404. >Meanwhile, Gloriosa appears out of nowhere and tells Filthy Rich’s bulldozers to bulldoze the mall because it has spas in it.
405. >But the girls inside of the phone tell Wallflower to make Vignette forget everything she was doing and rip up the paper that they saw from the phone, with the stone they saw from the phone too.
406. >They saw how it worked too when they watched Wallflower help Vignette by making key obstacle people forget everything so Vignette’s plan would be earlier in the movie.
407. >Now back on the good side, Wallflower fulfills her purpose and turns on Vignette with the memory stone, making her forget her plan and even that she wrote it down somewhere.
408. >Vignette has no idea what’s going on or if she’s even popular yet, and all the cunningness she has learned over the years has been erased, and Wallflower just bs and is all like “oh, I was just about to reset my phone”, taking Vignette’s phone out of her hand pretending it’s hers, which works.
409. >The main characters are freed, and Vignette has no idea what she did wrong when they start yelling at her, so Wallflower figures out how to reverse the stone’s thingy so Vignette can be properly scolded and punish(ed).
410. >But the event was already taken down completely except the stage thanks to Filthy Rich, and Vignette’s vision is in shambles and now she’s not only going to lose all of her profit, but she has to pay for all the damages too. And now her reputation sucks too because Filthy Rich being the influential slimebag he is is slandering her.
411. >Filthy Rich then goes up on stage to announce himself that the show’s over and get out, but then the mane seven and shadow five rainbow the daylight outta him and thank him for unintentionally helping them despite wanting revenge on them.
412. >All is well, Vignette is punished, Filthy Rich has to run off to elsewhere but then is found out to be in a political scandal of his own and broke some policy with bulldozers because he wasn’t thinking straight and went straight to destroying someone else’s belongings because he owned the mall but NOT the event stuff, so he is sent back to prison but he believes he will get out again.
413. >The same kinds of final epilogue-to-the-climax-scene stuff commences, all that jazz.
414. >Juniper and Wallflower make amends with everyone and become friends with eachother.
415. >Wallflower deletes Vignette’s number from her phone and adds Juniper’s instead because it wasn’t there before because they were too busy talking and singing and stuff.
416. >”Yeah I guess we learned more about the magic of this place, and I think the magic learned something about us” I cringed typing that but you get the idea.
417. >Happy ending kumbayah whatever. Roll credits.
418. >…
419. POST CREDITS SCENE.
420. >Filthy Rich needs to find a way to break out of prison and through the concrete cement wall, so the camera zooms in on his face and then he shouts “worldstar!” the proceeds to dab against the wall trying to use the force of his hands hitting the concrete to erode through it with enough time passing, but he just ends up breaking both of his arms and crying himself to sleep as the screen slowly fades to black.
