We also created a program to automatically close the vulnerability. The attached script will only replace the license verification system and will not change any other data. The script automatically detects all installed modules and patches them.

For the automatic update please proceed as follows:

- Extract the archive and upload the file to your WHMCS root directory
- Call the file in the browser: http://your-whmcs.com/auto-patch.php

Subsequently, a success message will be shown and your system is secured.

Once sufficient time has passed, WHMCS Global Services wants to release additional information on the nature of the security issues.

Due to the nature of the security gap, unpatched modules will only work for 3 days. After that we will switch off the old license server.
