  1. The fastest growing and most life changing medium of personal interaction completely redefines who can be successful in today's workforce. Social media. In this new age of instant communication at your fingertips at all times, if you want to hold a job, especially in an office setting, one must keep themselves from smearing their public image online.
  2. In a world where its taboo not to have at least one social media account, the most popular throughout all demographics being Facebook, its now a very important skill to have proper upkeep of ones profiles. While this may be vexing to the less tech oriented crowed, it now seems inescapable. In today's work environments its not long after becoming acquainted in person with your colleagues that you are then thrust into the next step of social interaction, accepting their friend request. Now this doesn't just stop at your co-workers in which you share the same job title, soon enough your bosses face is going to be showing up on your computer screen. This leads to a new way of standing out above the rest in your work place. The more you get to know your bosses personal life via social media, the easier it can be to become someone he likes. An example of this being simply to share an article in which you find to be congruent to his or her political ideology's. While this may upset some, its definitely a new way to be successful in today's workforce.
