  1. You enter the briefing room and are met by... A completely awake, young man. A different briefer, it seems. He hands the team files and clears his throat.
  2.
  3. "As some of you may know, for the past several weeks The Foundation has been cooperating with the GOC to deal with an anomaly commonly referred to as 'THE CREATOR'. The GOC team led by Samuel Valenti has tracked it down again, this time to Paris, France. As usual, you'll be heading over there and meeting up with said team to be briefed on the situation there."
  4.
  5. "Much like the last mission, we want you to hold on to the artifacts we've acquired from previous encounters with this anomaly. They'll be given to you at the train station. A cross which seems to glow when near other artifacts, and a bracelet which reportedly granted the wearer an impenetrable aura. The bracelet seems to act when in vicinity of THE CREATOR. You're free to do with them as you see fit, so long as you keep them under watch."
  6.
  7. The files contain some blanket information about France, reports of the previous missions, some details on the artifacts and the GOC team, mentioning both Samuel and Parker Kelly, the Foundation driver.
  8.
  9.
  10.
  11. You arrive by train at the Paris Est train station. (http://parisbytrain.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/09/gare_de_lest.jpg). The place is quite packed with tourists and locals alike. None other than Samuel Valenti himself approaches the team, though you can make out the outline of bandages under his shirt.
  12.
  13. He gestures for you to follow him, leading you outside, where Parker's already waiting by a van. Two more are parked nearby, and there are a couple of GOC agents idling around. He walks down the steps, but before he gets to the car, he stops, spotting something on the roof of the building on the other side of the road. "Ah, shit."
  14.
  15. It's Cane Man from the first run, still dressed in an expensive Italian suit and still with his cane! To those who might have read up on the reports from the missions back in NY might now recognize him - Vito Esposito, a former member of the Merzallo mob.
  16.
  17. He raises his cane and points it towards the team, as the GOC agents perk up, almost pulling their weapons out in broad daylight, but having the brains to not do that just yet. Vito laughs loudly, attracting the attention of some passers by. "Ah! I'm guessing you's be Psi-7 then, ah?" He calls out.
  18.
  19. "I've been sent 'ere by THE CREATOR to let you's all know of a challenge 'e's sent out to you's. If you's accept it and want to give humanity a shot, he says you's gots to set up some defenses in that there train station. What's about t' happen will be loads o' fun for all o' you's."
  20.
  21. After his speech is done, he turns around and walks off... Two dog-like Red Beings setting themselves up on the edge of the roof, staring down. Well, as much as they can stare without eyes.
  22.
  23.
  24.
  25.
  26.
  27. The station has three stories, which, for the purpose of this run, will be separated into different sectors. #Homeimprovement will be the first floor, #Tooltime will be the second floor, #Tooltime2 will be the third floor and #Homeimprovement2 will be the outside.
  28.
  29. The first floor has 15 sectors to it. 4 are lined up against the front, 4 at the back, where one on either is a door and the rest are window areas, three on either side (All of these are windows) and a wide-open area in the middle.
  30.
  31. The second floor has 16 areas, 5 along the front, 5 along the back, three on either side. These are all windows, and the front windows lead out to an overhang held up by pillars. You can access the overhang through any unblocked window. You can also head out on to a balcony area next to a large window if you walk across the overhang.
  32.
  33. The third floor is the same as the second one, minus the overhang and balcony.
  34.
  35. While Samuel contacts the rest of his men and the local police to evacuate civilians and get their asses to the Station, the agents which were already present begin work on setting up barricades. Unless otherwise specified, they'll focus on entirely barricading off the first floor windows, only leaving room for firing out of them.
  36.
  37. Parker starts moving GOC vehicles around to form choke points at the main entrances. If you think she's better off doing something else, you can give her orders, too.
  38.
  39. As for yourselves: You are each given 5 rolls for barricading and the like. For barricades, you can either roll strength for basic ones or engineering for more powerful ones, though the result of the roll decides the strength of the defenses. You may also utilize these rolls to assemble traps anywhere you see fit - for this, you can use Survival, Academics or Science.
  40.
  41. To avoid further clutter, move to the channel appropriate for the floor you'll be working on. You're free to spread your rolls over multiple floors, but make sure you do it in the right channel.
