  1. Keito stood infront of the room, carefully observing each and every Genin as they begun to Pour in. "Before we Begin, you will all be taking seats diagnol of one another. No one will be sitting directly next to, infront of, or behind another in this room. Failure to comply will result in failing the exam before it has even begun."
  2.
  3. They had plenty of time to figure out a seating arragement that followed the rules. Of course, Diagnol wasn't that big of a deal, but it was a special pattern that may just help invoke a bit of creativity beyond hushed whispers.
  4.
  5. "Now then...With everyone ready. Let's begin." Walking over to the board, she removes a sheet that was covering it, finally revealing to those that had not already been peeping with a Doujutsu that the exam was...a crossword puzzle?
  6.
  7. Each one was numbered, 1 through 5.
  8.
  9. There was several highlighted in a purple color, having an extra number on the bottom right of the panel.
  10.
  11. Then there was a word seperate from the crossword itself.
  12.
  13. Several questions were written down, connecting to the numbers in the topleft.
  14.
  15. Across
  16. 1. The Greatest Treasure
  17. 3. To Overcome Limitation
  18. 5. What the will of fire demands
  19.
  20. Down
  21. 2. Gained onnly when one has dedicated to practice.
  22. 4. That which binds us to Order.
  23.
  24. "You will be solving this crossword, connecting the highlighted letters, and finding a six letter word...As war comes, society begins to break apart. Countless lives are lost for the sake of ideals, saturated in the blood of those that fell. Everything is now out of focus, people are desperate, hurt, and losing faith. That is until one shows that they are capable of taking the burden upon themselves, selflessly giving their people the hope they need to continue.
  25. "
  26.
  27. Whatever Keito was spouting, she seemed to be looking at the participants gathered rather seriously.
  28.
  29. "You all have 45 minutes to discover the answer. You will not be writing it down, nor sharing it. You will walk up to me and whisper it within my ear as carefully as possible. Should you be caught cheating or helping another, you will first be given a warning, then afterwards...well, you don't want to know."
  30.
  31. She keeps the punishment vague...what could possibly be worse than failing the exams? At the very least, Keito was copying a similar theme to what Kazashi employed...this was seemingly that of a child's puzzle, though perhaps a bit difficult.
  32.
  33. "Time starts now."
  34.
  35. As those begun to grow adjusted to the room, they may realize it was not completely useless. There was a single fuuinjutsu class symbol in three of the squares, though they didn't translate to a real language...but virtually anyone could make those out, especially those with greater sight.
  36.
  37. Each symbol was different...and, they weren't the only ones.
  38.
  39. Inside the room they were seated in, several posters were on the walls. Some seemed to be graffeti'd by young pranksters that likely were doing the Genin exams in this very room. Some were more official, explaining the steps towards releases or chakra control as a constant reminder.
  40.
  41. Others were...a bit cringe, for encouragement purposes.
  42.
  43. Though those same three symbols existed again, yet each in different forms. One of them could only be percieved by Doujutsu...a X. Another was actually on one of the more official posters that showed the very basic Fuuinjutus princibles, instead It was graffiti marked over it that contained the letter S in a cool shape...connecting back to the fourth and fifth word.
  44.
  45. Finally there was a T that had been scribbled over, but if one could illuminate it even slightly, they'd notice the Fuuinjutsu symbol connecting it back to the end of word 3.
  46.
  47. How they each discovered these was on them, though even should they be capable of finding those cleverly placed hints, it would not automatically solve it, only make it easier.
  48.
  49. (Please click the link below to actually make this possible. Feel free to implore any IC tactics, methods, tricks, or whatever you wish to sneak whatever it is you desire. I will judge accordingly and may ask for a diceroll with modifiers. Try to keep roleplays very short as this Exam is time sensetive and I will only extend time by 10 minutes for those finishing up roleplays...but you'll be expected to be making multiple over the event.)
