- [22:32] The sound of mithril tapping against stone would be hearned as the horned figure marched through the doors of the kitchen. It seemed like he was making a direct line to make a meal, though his pace would stop as he spied the blue hood raised in the corner.
- It was just the love of his life he was looking for, in fact. Though he paused his pace, he would walk into the kitchen and would begin cooking. The savory scent of meat and spices would fill the air as he worked, warm breads wafting through the air as lettuce crunched beneath a blade.
- After making a pair of burgers, Revan would wrap them and place them into a basket, marking before his fiancée, his blackened hues would simply look over her.
- "We have.. Much to discuss.."
- His voice would be hoarse from coughing, though he'd extend his left hand to her, as if guiding her elsewhere. His right arm no longer sported the large bone scythe, though it seemed he didn't favor his right hand as much.
- (Revan Task)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [22:37] Lilith would hear Revan walk in the room. The signature tapping of his peg leg would only make it easier to identify who it was without looking at him. She was deep in thought, she was worried about what would happen to the guild now that the war was going on.
- Most importantly... She was thinking about what she would do about it.
- Yet, the smell and the cooking in the kitchen wouldn't break her focus. She was too much worried about too many things. Revan coming in would only make her even more worried. Already having an idea of what he wanted to talk about.
- Seeing the hand, she would pull down her hood. Standing up by herself and following him. Not taking ahold of the offering and not speaking a word. Her feet would start to tap and her hand would start to form a fist. But she would follow regardless.

- [22:40] {Item} You picked up Amber..
- [22:53] Being turned down the would sting, his hand slowly closing into a fist before leading the way. He tried his best to make it date like, though he knew the conversation would be grim. Revan couldn't take her far without risk of being hunted, so he would simply take her further up the mountain, setting up picnic on the bridge across the rushing waterfall.
- Placing the basket between them, as it seemed like there wouldn't be any hand holding, he would open the lid, letting the fresh scent fill the cold air around them. His own azure mana would flare and provide a comfortable warmth to them.
- "I.. Finally perfected my uncles recipe.. Tell me what you think."
- There was so much to discuss.
- He didn't know where to begin, the lightest topic would be best, he thought, just something to take the edge off. It felt like such a divide had formed between them, even with the time that had passed, the events of the recent months would only drive them further apart.
- It made taking this leap seemingly more and more difficult for the Task, having to gulp down his own pride as he grabbed the horns of his helm and pulled it off, unwrapping the bandages he used as padding, he would let his face feel the fresh air for the first time since receiving it.
- "Everything.. Is fucked.."
- He'd finally say with a sigh, there was no other way to make of it either, war was messy, and it got messier with every hour that passed. He didn't know what to do, he knew where he was tied because of his family- but what did the one he wanted to make a family with think?
- ".. They declared war.. Against my brothers.. My father.."
- (Revan Task)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [22:53] {Item} You drop Sandwich.
- [23:03] Revan Task says, "I said no"
- [23:10] Lilith didn't want to hurt Revan's feelings. But she couldn't just hold his hand like that. Especially after everything that was happening. She just wanted to take care of Fenes, and just wanted to make sure the people she cared about wouldn't get hurt... or worse...
- Hurt each other
- Yet, that was exactly how things were looking. She knew that the Hellaxis family was going to fight against the Tasks... Especially after they would house both demons and mimics and working with them. She hated the fact that demons were allowed here... And the fact that now they'll have weapons and armor to equip them. By one of the best artificers out there.
- Lilith would sigh as she would sit beside Revan. Looking at the basket and smiling a little as he would talk about perfecting his uncles recipe. Seeing as he would try to make it as lighthearted as possible. Looking to the waterfall, she would listen to Revan talk before she gave her own opinion.
- "Considering how many humans, teraphim, and drakanites Demons have slain. The fact that Theria is now working with them and housing them. I see exactly why they would declare war. And why they would hurt your family."
- Lilith would shake her head once more. Thinking about the Task family.
- "You know how it feels to get your family hurt... Then how many people do your think your family has hurt? You should know what they do in the sidelines. The demon housing was just the spark needed to ignite the flames of war that your family has been asking for."
- (Lilith Allison)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [23:28] As expected, Lilly had much more bottled up within her than her quiet demeanor portrayed- or perhaps it was the tell tale sign of her silence, normally having so much to express. He just wanted to talk to her, not even about the war, or Fenes, he just wanted to hear her voice, to see her smile, and to feel her warmth.
- Why did that have to feel like such a distant memory now.
- "The Terraphim have slaughtered man, woman, and child alike during the genocide of Osrona. Where Therian's only plundered business of valuable, it was the knife ears that took lives unnecessarily.. They are hardly better than the demons."
- It was said rather apathetically, but did he really feel it? Did he really feel anything towards the situation, other than anger his family being attacked now? Confusion as to what he should do, and the conflict he feels as he is being torn between two sides.
- Though a sharp inhale would be taken with her finale words. "That my father asked for." It would be said with some resentment, his father was in his final years, and he knew it, he had nothing more to lose, and he was dropping the war on their lap- their final test.. And what would Revan become as a result of it?
- "I don't like the demons either.. But for now.. They're necessary.. Lilly.. As a Fireblooded you should know there is no good or evil.. But Desire and Restraint.. The demon's know this they understand this principle.. It's enough for me to tolerate them for now as I.. Study how to take them down.. However.. Their lord still wishes to hunt Ryujin, and with what I know what the demons wish to do.. I can not let them accomplish their plans.. But I have no faith in Myllenoris, and I cannot betray my family.."
- The more he spoke, the more it felt like he wasn't really saying anything, just more and more words that spilled out- but there was something he wanted to impress upon her.
- "I just.. I don't.. I don't want to do anything.. That would pull us apart.. Lilly.. I.. I miss you.. And.. I need you.. I need you by my side.." Golden hues would look to her pleadingly, he knew they were at odds, but he needed some reassurance they could still come to terms somehow.
- (Revan Task)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [23:52] Lilith would always try to be optimistic, kind, and happy in this chaotic and unfair world. Yet, every single situation, every single problem she face, ever single moment where there was conflict among those she cared about. It would slowly drain at her, chip at her slowly.
- She just missed the moments where they were children. Missed the moments when all they would do is laugh and smile, having small happy memories with one another. She would constantly go back to Alabastre, living within the walls of where her guild once lay. Where they used to laugh and play. Where almost every single happy memory lay.
- But they left that... And just like she feared, things would only go downhill from here
- "And yet you talk like the Demons haven't slaughtered man, woman, and child alike as well. I don't know the reason for their fighting, but people change... Demons on the other hand. They can't redeem themselves. They can't repent. And they certainly wouldn't if they had the chance"
- It sounded like an excuse to her. A way for him to justify what Theria is doing. It didn't sit right with her at all. Especially working with the species that's only purpose is to bring more chaos.
- "And if you say they are hardly better than Demons. Then why are you working with the species that are worse than the Teraphim? The species whose entire agenda is to bring pain and suffering? At the very least, it isn't in the Teraphims blood to kill and main like the demons do. And if you recall, their origins fought off the demons that oh so threatened the end of the world."
- She would look at him more as he would continue to justify his reasoning. Trying her best to understand, to someone get a grasp at why he would continue to do these things. Working with evil, working to bring pain and suffering. It was just unbearable to think about. Her fists clenching as she did.
- "Ahhh yes. At the very least, the Teraphim have brought life into the world. They have continued to bring more sparks of life, more fires to grow within everyone. Demons on the other hand? They snuff it out. I'm not working with a race whose leader would want to kill Ryujin. The Teraphim have brought smiles, have brought happy memories. But the Demons only take, and take, and take. Even if the Fireblood religion encourages that... It is wrong. I desire a world where Demons don't terrorize the masses. Where my Sister could have lived peacefully. Where our children could walk around safely."
- Lilith would look up to the sky. Smiling as she would continue to dream.
- "And I will crush any nation that stands against that desire. I will make my desire a reality."
- Seeing Revan look at her pleadingly, she would smile. Bringing him close and giving him a hug to comfort him. Not wanting him to be worried, wanting him to relax.Knowing that in his mind... He's probably extremely conflicted.
- "Of course. I still love you, and I always will... But I won't work with demons. I won't fight innocent people for a race that would gladly eat and kill. For Ezekiel, for Fingar, for Fenes. That's who I'm fighting for."
- (Lilith Allison)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [00:15] He would listen as she spoke so passionately against the Demonic alliance made by his family, hearing how she would crush any nation that stepped in the ways of her desires. Seeing such ambition would honestly make his heart flutter a beat, suddenly taken aback as she would pull him into a hug. There was a lot he didn't understand, and her love for him was certainly one of them.
- Here he was defending the use of demons, standing by the awful deeds of his family and willing to march to war for them, and she could still say she loved him. Golden hues would quickly grow wet as she would hold him in her arms, Revan going silent for a long while as she seemingly drew her line in the sand.
- "So.. You have.. No faith that my father might not have some grand scheme to betray the demons? That we can't still have that dream of yours where children can frolic freely? I'm.. Disheartened that Myllenoris is stepping into this.. I know Nysea is my family's true target.. The Petrakis line and the dragon slayers they harbor.. As well as other vendettas within the city.. But.. There is no way I could.. Convince you to lead the fireblooded with me during this war?"
- He'd look to her again, it was clear she had take her stand, but Revan had to see how stubborn she would be in this matter. "And.. If you're not fighting.. With Theria.. You're not.. Fighting against us.. Are you..?" He had hopes she would stay low in Alabastre, please focus on Fenes. It was an ugly thought to have to face his fiancée on the battlefield.
- His hand would reach behind her to rest between her wings on the small of her back. "And.. I love you too.. No matter what.." He'd eventually return, his voice gripped with struggle as he hated the situation he found himself in.
- (Revan Task)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [00:48] She lost many people she cared about due to demons. She lost the happy, smiling, hopeful Sister that was Fenes. She lost the bartender and cheery drakanite that was Ezekiel. She lost the quiet and still Fingar as well. All because of demons... All because they wanted to bring chaos and pain into the world.
- Yet, still hearing him defending the use of demons. How he would talk about using the demons against his enemies. It was really foolish. Especially when Demons are inherently better than Humans, Draks, Terraphim, Beastkin, in every single possible way. And yet, they thought they were the ones controlling them. She wouldn't be surprised if the Demons just took over Theria after the war.
- "I don't want children, men, women to die if we had a chance to prevent it. Betraying the demons would mean nothing if many lives could have been saved by just not working with them. If my dream of letting my children walk freely is built upon the preventable deaths of thousands, then I wouldn't smile, nor would I be happy. I would be glad to fight the dragon slaying family. But I am not going to fight alongside demons, against people who just want evil to disappear from the world."
- She would turn to Revan, looking at him seriously as she pushed him to look him in the eyes.
- "What makes you so sure that the Demons; A race which is inherently better than Humans, Drakanites, Terraphim, and Beastkin, would actually crumble or lose against your family? Especially after being fed and bathing in a buffet of negative energy... I wouldn't be surprised if they just took over Theria after the war... They gain fighting experience faster than any person in the entire world. A demon you once beat a week ago could now beat people you wouldn't dream of beating."
- She looked at him with hands on his shoulders.
- "They are apex predators. Built to kill, main, and only get stronger with each and every single fight. The demons that will fight in this war, the ones that would survive... They'll become unkillable and unstoppable killing machines."
- Lilith would sigh once more. Shaking her head again.
- "As for what I'll do... I don't know... I don't want to fight any of my loved ones... But I also want to do something to stop the impending demon threat."
- She would hug him though, trying to comfort him through this tough time. She was going to do something... But she didn't know what.
- "I still... Don't understand why... You would side with demons... Even after all of my points. Even after I gave so many examples. Please give me a single one where a man, group, people, have worked with Demons only to betray them..."
- Thought she was sure it never happened
- (Lilith Allison)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [01:09] There would be a sharp huff through his nose as she doubted the Task's capabilities, and after they had thrown the continent into turmoil- or maybe it was because they did she doubted them.
- ".. Astrid has grown as strong as magi by training with them.. I'm sure I can do the same.. Study them.. learn their weakness.. Gain their trust.. And slip the knife in.."
- It was a slow method, though it granted him strength, truly it was one of the few things he cared about, the other he had his arm wrapped around. Though listening to her, even sentence would be a pang against his heart, perhaps it was the years he spent with her, instilled into him.
- "It's.. Just for.. My family.. They were.. All I had.. They're the only ones who.. Do understand.. Who went through what we did.. I can't.. I can't abandon my brothers.."
- It wasn't even about his Father at this point, he was one foot out the door, his final joke just waiting for the punchline. Dun never loved their mother, and neglected her to the point she took her own life. Revan didn't want that, not for him or Lilly, he did want them to be happy, he pursued this strength to give them that right.. That's why he did it, surely?
- She would hug him more, and he would only shrink in her arms all the more, shaking his head as he brought his knees to his chest. "Are we just.. Lying to ourselves..?" The statement could've meant so much, did he mean them as a couple? What was he lying to himself about, that he was truly a Task, or that he was good at heart, and he could run away with Lilly.
- (Revan Task)

- [01:09] * You have been awarded 1 Roleplay Points! *
- [01:31] It would take her a long time to just think. Sitting there for a moment as she would continue yet again to listen to Revan. His excuses starting to dwindle, his reasons for fighting now getting even more and more honest. There was no excuse to justify demons, to justify the use of them. There was no way to dehumanize anyone to the point using demons would be acceptable.
- She wouldn't really care when he would talk about Astrid using them. She already knew her stance in this war. She did not like working with demons, just as much as she did.
- Though she would start to hum. A tune familiar to those in the Dragon's Tooth. A tune with which she would cherish with all her life. A hum which she would hold close to her. It would help calm her down, help her smile in this tough conversation.
- "What do you mean... Are we just lying to ourselves?"
- She just wanted to have a happy life with Revan. That was a desire she would fight for, would even die for. Yet seeing him like this, trying to justify working with demons? Continuing to stay loyal to a family which only brings him down, making him do terrible things? It would hurt her, break her apart.
- "I'll... Always love you. And I just want to be with you... I just want us to relax together... Have children together... That's... My desire..."
- (Lilith Allison)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [02:06] Hearing as she would hum a tune, Revan would hide behind his hands, it was then that Lilly would perhaps get a better look at his right hand. His middle finger was- well it was made of a solid block of wood, weird. Though as he slowly pieced together why he was still truly fighting, he couldn't find it within himself to turn away from his family.
- Are we just lying to ourselves?
- What did he mean by that, what answer was he looking for when he asked that? Turned back around on him, the first question that came to mind would be the insurmountable, but there was so much more he wanted to say.
- "You.. Will always be held closely in my heart.. And I also long for the times we can.. Just enjoy one another's company.. I want to get married to you, and start a family.. I want to lead the Fireblooded with you by my side..
- My father filled me with ambition.. I wanted to be perfect.. I thought I could be.. But then I met you.. And I realized there was so much more to me that I.. Had to learn about.. I could only do that with you, Lilly.. Never have I felt for someone the way I do for you.. I wanted to be perfect.. Until I wanted to be perfect for you.."
- His fingers would clutch into his own black hair as he felt like his insides were being torn apart. If he stays with his family, he loses his happiness.. If he leaves with Lilly, he loses his honor and a lot of his drive.. Could he truly be a fireblooded if he turned his Father away, the man who gave him his current position?
- Are we just lying to ourselves?
- The question would ring out again as he got lost on his tangent.
- "What if.. We are too different.. That we can't make this work.. And we're lying to ourselves by saying we can?"
- (Revan Task)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [02:39] Lilith would continue to hum, trying to calm herself down. It helped a lot, even though deep down inside the humming would pain her heart. Even though it would break her apart as she hummed it, it would bring her peace. Remembering how her own sister would hum this when she wanted to relax.
- She did love Revan. Even through all the fighting, even through every single problem that they had with each other. That fact was never going to change for her. She only wanted Revan to become a better person, to become someone they both can be proud of.
- She would listen to what he had to say. Smiling, nodding as he would continue to talk about their future together. It was nice, it was something she wanted, something she was waiting for. But Revan would always be doing something in the background. She just wanted his full attention to raise a family, to spend time with one another.
- Her heard would beat as Revan would talk about wanting to be perfect for her. She was happy he would say that, because she herself wanted to become a better person for him as well. Yet, the last words would ring in her head. Is this what he meant by lying to ourselves?
- "I..."
- She would try to start a sentence. Just baffled and confused that Revan would say such a thing. Her heart starting to race as fear would take over. She's lost the old guild hall, lost her Sister, and now she's going to lose the love of her life?
- "No... I'm not lying to myself. My answer to spending my entire life with you when you proposed would still be a yes... Why... Why are you thinking like that? Is a future with me... not really possible?"
- (Lilith Allison)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [03:00] Revan would be trapped within himself, his skull served as the bars to his cell, and his thought were the ever present warden reminding him of everything wrong. He could only focus on the issues, wanting to find solutions but only finding more things that needed fixing. Had he gotten his own hopes he could convince her to fight with him, to turn a blind eye to the menace that his family had let into their city?
- He spoke from the heart when he spoke of his desires, how many of them revolved around her and wishing to grow with her. She sparked his passion, and he never wanted to lose her because of that.
- Though he still felt as if there were things he couldn't leave behind.. Until he remembered some of Thalis' words.. Love makes y' do crazy t'ings. He would think back to his own sister Rinn, and how she fought a match to the death over her wife that had been killed.
- Revan never thought he would do such a thing, but hear how Lilly would say she would accept his proposal again.. The hurt in her voice as she sounds in disbelief that he doubted they could work. It seemed impossible, but only because neither would budge from their positions.
- "No." He would say quite suddenly, "No I.. Do.. Think it's possible- Or-er.. I don't.. Care.. if it is or not.. But... I can't just.. Abandon everything here.. Even if I do choose to go against the demons.. I.. I think the church is.. It could be how we fight against them.."
- It was an idea, something for them both to continue to pursue, it was a desire of his to bring the Fireblooded back together, but the Demons certainly did put a damper on that.
- "But.. I don't.. know.. I need.. Time to think.."
- He'd finally admit leaning into her shoulder to rest his head on her shoulder.
- "I.. hate how things are.. I just want to be happy with you.. But.. I'm.. Happy we atleast.. Got to talk this much.. I.. Really didn't think you'd say yes again.."
- (Revan Task)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [03:16] Lilith would start to feel her heart ache more and more. Did Revan... just start to lose hope in their relationship? In their future together? She's always just wanted to spend time with him, just wanted to have children with him.
- Yet, more and more drama would always come between them. It was usually because of what Revan thought he had to do. Of what he felt he had to do. She just wished that he would be able to just put more value with their relationship.
- Listening closely to his answer. Holding him close as he would continue to talk about abandoning everything here, to go against demons, to use the church to fight them... And of course how he had to continue thinking about it.
- A smile would come to her face as he would rest his head on her shoulder. Happy to know that at the very least... He still did love her.
- "I love you too... And that won't change..."
- She would pat his head before speaking once more.
- "Mhm... It was nice to talk this long... And of course I would say yes once more."
- She would then close her eyes. Starting to feel tired from all the logical thinking and speeches she would give during this time. Resting her head on Revan's she would then start to doze off.
- "Mnh… sleepy time..."
- (Lilith Allison)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [03:25] Revan would cuddle her closely, where she wouldn't have offered her a hand to him earlier now they were leaned against one another. There were doubts that had crept into his mind, but they were incinerated as he felt the warmth of her cheek against his. He never wanted to let her go, to forever hold on another in each other's arms.
- "You care my soul mate, that is for certain."
- A nod given, "And yes.. We should.. Do this a lot more often.."
- Hearing how she was tired, Revan would lean over and place a kiss on her peeling cheek- he didn't seem to care. Shortly enough he would pick her up.
- "Come come.. The bed is a much nicer place to bundle up."
- (Revan Task)
