1. I saw a mention of how I'd be expected to spend 70-90 hours on a game that would be released shortly before Christmas, and considering the following:
2.
3.
I'm already planning Game Boy Wars 3 Day on January 21 for a given reason
4.
I want to get streaming Apollo Justice out of the way
5.
I've never been given the proper chance to play TM on demo or anything to try to help with its balance
6.
7. Yeah, that point about there being over 50 SP maps on release makes me hesitant now. Now yeah, you (TM's designers) do indicate you have concern about the quantity over quality issue. I'll give you credit for that, but that's actually the point to be honest: I have no idea of your sense of game balance or level design to determine if it has suitable structure. I'm not claiming I know everything about game balance, because I don't, but I do have some game balance concepts listed here to showcase that I have my share of ideas, and I have helped to balance Shattered Throne, which innately involves a concept that favors attack quantity, at least on paper. As for level design, some people claim that I innately hate difficulty, but this proves otherwise. It's POORLY crafted difficulty that gets on my nerves, but even then, if a clearly bad level has a worthwhile redeeming quality I'll definitely bring that up.

9. I get that game balance isn't everything, though, and in fact it's even not supposed to be the focus of the topic. However, I do find that it's still something to bring up because there's a consistent problem in gaming communities with the rampant abuse of the term "salt", people telling others to "git gud" even when it proves arbitrary, things like that, and that's not even getting into how they'll say you have mental disorders as if they're insults, ones you can never refute because the people behind them will stubbornly follow them. I also complained in the comment pinned here about how the Advance Wars subreddit runs with that brand of stupidity. (Oh, and by the way, yes, that is me doing Rivals AC in the link.) They even like to claim me to be basically Lucifer while simultaneously pulling idiocy like bashing Shattered Throne and Advance Wars By Web's map makers, unprovoked. You can tell why I got so angry when writing the post that got me banned for calling out all the arbitrary downvoting garbage. May I further point out that reddit thinks registering unpopular people as spammers thinking the popular thing is always right is good practice--quite obviously, that's beyond inane.
10.
11. Tiny Metal could end up being suffocated by people like the Advance Wars subreddit's general membership if that problem is not curbed actively enough. Healthy gameplay would help in staggering the sociopathic, though it can only do so much. There still have to be safeguards against the "git gud" mentality being dominant. There is something Area 35 can realize that Wargroove's developers didn't: that those who fail to learn from history are doomed to repeat it. And we definitely do not need a repeat of a game's community becoming an unrecognizable mess.
