40. The cases of the Miami-Dade, Florida police department's Crime Scene Investigations unit.
 41. Horatio Caine, a former homicide detective, heads a group of investigators who work crimes amid the steamy, tropical surroundings and cultural crossroads of Miami. His team includes Calleigh Duquesne, a bilingual Southern beauty with a specialty in ballistics; Tim Speedle, a cocky yet disarming investigator who is well connected on the street, and Eric Delko, an underwater recovery expert who knows all the twists and turns of the Florida waterways. Rounding out the team is Alexx Woods, the no-nonsense, know-it-all coroner. And, after Speedle is killed in Action, Former Patrolman Ryan Wolfe joins the team. Together, these investigators collect and analyze the evidence to solve the crimes and to vindicate those who often cannot speak for themselves -- the victims.
 42. You know, at least when the original CSI aired, it showed a pretty standard method of crime fighting. Gather the evidence, and figure out whodunnit by hard work and elbow grease.

Then these spinoffs. And Miami is the worst, I call it the sci-fi CSI. In this show, they can find a cellular phone, set it on a piece of plexiglass and some mysterious technology not only accesses the phones memory but displays it on a ludicrous transparent display.

Im sorry, but this show is hilariously bad. I don't mind a realistic show. And I don't mind out-of-this-world sci-fi, but when you try to mix the two you end up with a show that even a 5 year old knows is ludicrous. Either go whole-hog in a realistic format fitting the current time period, or go whole-hog into a sci-fi show, using technology that we wont have for 50 years. Trying to do both is as laughable as Hackers, with 3d flybys as someone hacks a computer.

And please, am I the only one who absolutely hates the YEAHHHHHH at the beginning of every episode? Its as bad as nails on a chalkboard!
 43. *** This comment may contain some of REAL ANGER !!! ***

At first I was watching Baywatch Hawaii at one channel, it's great of course..Not the greatest show or The great show but there was great female bodies, bright swim suits, nice action, and such a wonderful landscapes BUT SUDDENLY the curse had landed on earth !.. Baywatch Hawaii had ended and I found my self in the present of the ugliest scenes I've ever seen in my whole life at a TV-Series .. It was the smash Hit (CSI: Miami) which smashed me into pieces indeed!

I hate this show because of endless reasons, one of them for sure is David Caruso who we describe him in Arabic as (the man with the heavy blood) which means The Silly Man, and I would like to add The Silliest Man Alive! Especially with his eternal sun glasses, his ever lasting hands on his sides, and his funny moving out of the screen right after his last line (which is sickly frequent !). You'll find also some of the corniest women ever appeared on the small screen : (Emily Procter) with her highly obnoxious looks, fully dead face and the most provocative voice ever. (Khandi Alexander) whom I swear to god I can't stand her face at all. Add to the list actors with super ridiculous faces and performances like (Boti Bliss, Adam Rodriguez, and Jonathan Togo) to have a show for any one who dislikes women or men !!

And beside that cool kind of way they are talking with, and the Caruso's fake calm which irritates me.. There is THAT big mistake, I saw season one while I was studying how to write a screenplay at the Egyptian high cinema institute ..and there was this golden rule (Do not make all your Heroes talk the same way).. So we were watching the American good work to learn well from it, but when you keep watching CSI: Miami you'll find that every body is talking the same way like they are all cool Philosophers, or alleged wise people !!

As you see, no one here is watchable, so nothing as well. Whereas we have the forensic science and all of its sickening, shocking, disgusting scenes with all of these corpses and autopsy. It's an explicit horror and a horrible gross whether I watched after Baywatch or after anything !! so I find myself every single time I watch (CSI: Miami) or (Bones) or (NCIS) screaming AAAAHHHHHH !!..and asking what kind of sick people whom are watching this to find it fun ???? .. So I've stopped watching for the sake of my psychological health and with all the uproar and exuberance of forensic T.V series nowadays..I think I'll stop watching for a very long time..

C.S.I...Not only one of the worst already, but also it's an evidence that proves easily and clearly the changing of the global audience's taste according to our too bloody world and its monstrous photos which hunt you successfully on the Newspapers or the T.V news or the T.V series too !!

 45. While often the science and technology portrayed in this series (as well as the other CSI series) is accurate or mirrors sound scientific principle, there have been times when methods have led to results simply not possible in the real world. Also whilst the majority of the techniques and technologies used in the CSI franchise are accurate and true to reality, the writers and crew readily admit that they "time cheat". Tests that take seconds in the show often take days or even weeks in real life. Meanwhile the extreme popularity of the CSI TV franchise was credited for a large surge of applications for courses in forensic science, however many present day applicants are surprised to discover that the CSI's (or Crime Scene Annalists/Crime Scene Technicians, Scientific Investigators ect.) do not perform most of the tasks depicted on the CSI series. E.g. They do not interview suspects, they do not write or execute search warrants, and they do not make arrests. CSI's do not work the way the series portrays them as It would be considered an inappropriate and improbable practice to allow CSI personnel to be involved in detective work as it would compromise the impartiality of scientific evidence and would be impracticably time-consuming. In real life they are directed around the scenes by the detectives and supervisors, not the other way around. Detectives are commissioned police officers (sworn personnel). CSI's are civilian personnel, not sworn and do not have the same arrest powers as police officers. However they are very skilled technicians, and are a component of the police response to crime. American law allows for the 'false deception ploy' where the police can claim to have evidence (fingerprints, DNA, CCTV, witnesses) they do not in order to gain a confession, the idea being that any innocent person would know such evidence could not exist and see through it. This has become increasingly controversial however due to cases such as the Central Park 5 rape case in New York where the suspects were told their co-defendants were saying they were responsible so they accused them in turn only to be exonerated years later. No, they can enter in hot pursuit, to preserve life, to prevent imminent destruction of evidence or to search for a wanted felon. They need a search warrant for evidence when those elements do not apply. Lately I have noticed that the show is enhanced with truly score-like orchestral soundtrack. I tried to find out who the composer is. None of the official large soundtrack bases and platform have any information about it. It would be nice to find out. The same goes for similar shows like CSI NY or the original CSI Las Vegas.

For CSI. Miami is The Who- Wont Get Fooled Again and for CSI : NY is The Who- Baba O'riley a5c7b9f00b
